Hi Ninja Mom,
I have gotten some good information for you today. We decided to go to the quiet pool this afternoon. After we had been there a while we saw this guy in a suit checking out the workmen who were on a cherry picker fixing some water damage. He was answering questions from a resort guest about the work. I had my target. He started toward the quiet pool and I asked him if he was the manager of the BC.. He identified himself as the custodial manager and his name tag said Jamie Davis. I asked him if resort guests could use the showers at the health club and he said, sure, guests can use the showers at the health club. He went on to add that there were plans to add shower rooms to the pool area. I asked him how long before the new pool shower rooms were done and he said that they were still in the planning stages, which he said meant another six months of talking about it. But he expected it to be done in a year or two. I once again asked him if it was okay to use the showers at the health club, and he said sure. He also commented that most guests prefer to shower in their rooms, but could use the showers in the health club if they wanted to.
That is the word from Jamie Davis, custodial manager, so take it for what it's worth. Are there even showers in the health club? Maybe I need to go into the health club next.
Change of subject - we are sitting on our balcony right now, listening to the British Revolution performing in Epcot and can hear it perfectly. We are so close to Epcot it is amazing. The weather has been great and we are really enjoying our afternoon at the resort.
Eta - I have another story to add. My husband was talking to the BC greeter named Al in the lobby this morning while he waited for me to return from dropping our mugs off in the room. When I joined them Al said that my husband told him that he was waiting for his princess. I said really, my husband called me his princess? Al said yes, that what he said. Meanwhile my husband was turning all shades of red and looking a little embarrassed. After we got out the door, my husband admitted he didn't call refer to me as his princess, which is what I figured. But it didn't matter because I loved what Al did and I had a big smile on my face from all that flattery. That Al is the nicest guy.
