Does anyone know what time the marshmallow roasts are in June? Movie time? thank you!

Will send pictures later but here is the update

Yesterday appetizers were chicken skewers and egg rolls, veggies with dip, pb&j, apples and Carmel , and some plated olive tampanade

DH for in at 1 am !!! We checked out after several attempts to extend our stay in any type of room. We get access to the lounge until midnight :)

Checked into the swan . Good news is we were able to snag BC rooms for fri and Sat so we can return to SAB and Rocky's awesome service

My biggies are Be Our Guest for DDs 10th Birthday and Flying Fish for our 2nd Wedding Anniversary.

We want dinner. Hoping for CP for breakfast. Only hole in the plan is it is morning EMH at MK so no empty park at breakfast.

Got my Magic Bands today!!! My husband is joking that I will probably wear it until we leave for Disney 3 weeks from today:):) I am loving the live reports, it is getting me so pumped!!

Also, I bit the bullet and bought an AP, yikes!! With our trip next month, a convention in June, and a family trip in August, I thought it would work out well, especially if we are using a Tables in Wonderland card - we are traveling with 6-8 people and we usually do at least one TS per day, so I'm sure my savings will add up.......

So a question for all of you AP holders. I only have the voucher which I am going activate when I get to WDW. It's linked, I have my FP, etc. Even though it's not activated, can I get onto the AP passholder website? How can I search for room discounts without calling reservations?

Hi I've stayed in a room with my 3 and while it takes a bit of organising in the mornings it's always been great fun. We definitely make use of the lounge for extra breathing space when needed plus getting breakfast as and when people are ready rather than heading to a restaurant for a specific time make life hugely easier in my book. You will have a great time :)[/QUOTE]

:)Thank you so much, helps make me less nervous...maybe some pixie dust will come our way and they will upgrade us to a suite..i might book one if there was one available...pixiedust:

Thank you. The wheezing and cough are actually better today. Still there but not as bad. And my spirits are way up ... got over feeling sorry for myself and now I've decided I'll live with it as best I can and still enjoy life to the fullest!!!

The two bedroom suites at the BC are really nice and would give you the room you are looking for. Did you check to see if they are available for your dates?

The CL rooms at both the YC and BC are the same size as non-CL rooms. Only difference is they are on the fifth floor.

If you usually book a suite, the cost of two CL rooms at the YC or BC would be comparable to the price of a two bedroom suite so that might be a consideration for you. If you are accustomed to a suite, staying with three kids in one little hotel room will not be very comfortable IMO.

The YC and BC are the same resort ... same managers, same CMs ... we can work either side but most of us have our preferences and bid them accordingly. But it's all one resort. The main difference is the décor. The BC is light and airy and always has a noisy crazy lobby. The YC (also known as the dark side) is very much like you would like a yacht club would feel like ... dark woods ... the lobby is normally quiet and sedate. Room sizes are the same. The YC has full balconies throughout whereas the BC balconies can be full or little bitty standing balconies. So if you find you can get a two bedroom suite at the BC, I would definitely switch over!

Thank you sooo much for the honest information! I feel like you were reading my mind....You were addressing all of my concerns!!I will definitely try to book a 2 bedroom at bc if available...I don't think there is.....I wish there was a suite available at yc that week...maybe pixie dust will come long and magically bring us a suite:wizard:

See you in about hmmmmm.....43 days!!!!:goodvibes

Positive thoughts your way!!!!:thumbsup2

Hi guys! You know I use to be all about the club level at YC but last year did not stay CL and had a great time! Due to water view upgrade no doubt!

THis summer I booked YC LV b/c there is not GV during my stay. THEN I realized for maybe 70 more I could be YC GV CL so my wheels started spinning...again!

I thought I read that the food was different in there lately or would be different? Anyone have any recent info on that?

Doing a split stay - Grand Floridian Villas 1 bedroom!!!! Then YC!!! DD is bringing a friend for the first time so I thought CL could be nice for them but DD is gluten intolerant which is why I did not do CL last summer....

I just did this last week, too. I ended up having to call the internet help number 407-939-4357 and have them manually link my pass since I had not received the voucher in the mail yet. They could link it with my confirmation number. Now I can see AP discounts by signing in and browsing the special offers section. There is also a link in MDE that will take you to the AP site but I have had the pages work only about 50% of the time.

Well..... IF we are playing ADR's for August .... I will tell you that I got the Mushroom risotto filet for Monday's lunch (Le Cellier) Pooh's french toast for Wed. breakfast (Crystal Palace) and then I lost my poor meatball when somebody sneezed at Friday's lunch (Mama Melrose).

We also plan on crashing Spice Road again (no ADR's allowed) and going to the Captain's Grille as many times as they will let me in. I have to see if the lobster omelet has been reduced to one token piece of claw meat waving like a lonely flag on top of the omelet.

As for our Trip coming up March 1st I am Mushroom risotto-ing again on Monday along with a Be Our Guest FAST PASS for lunch when we hit the MK. I managed to get the BOG FP for all 8 people in my party under 3 separate reservations. Let me tell you THAT was quite the trick! I am making everyone get the PORK because it is TO DIE FOR, right Nannette??

This will be quite the challenge because I am dealing with a pack of picky, whiny eaters and that is just some of the adults. There are two small children who will receive the patented Ninja Mom Death Stare if they so much as dare to whimper about their food. You'll know that NM is in pork heaven when my eyes roll back in my head and I swoon while chowing down on that lovely concoction known as BOG Braised Pork.

We are also doing the Biergarten and the Crystal Palace (Breakfast, ALWAYS breakfast!) for this March trip. Since we are staying at POR we plan on trying to hit Boatwrights for dinner, Nom, nom, nom!

I have to defrost my swim suit and get to packing!

here now and happy!! the only problem is it seems the wifi goes in and out a lot. anyone else experience that?

We are planning a couple trips to Captain's Grill on our March trip. I think I'll stay away from the lobster claw. :scared1:

I dragged my DH to lunch at BOG three times because the braised pork is so good. His sandwiches were just sandwiches, so he doesn't have the same love for the place. I'm giving him a break on the next trip and we are not eating there. But he still has to go to Liberty Tree Tavern so that I can get the Ooey Gooey toffee cake. :cloud9:

Disney sent our MagicBands via US Mail instead of UPS overnight. I guess they decided they need to save a little money. ;)

I would go down to the front desk and let them know you are having trouble with it.

Chances are they will not know what is going on but they will know to send someone ON SITE to take a look at it.

What ever you do do not call to report problems. That call just goes to a generic call center and your problem gets put at the end of the list. Take the time to hoof it over to the the front desk AT the resort to tell them about problems and chances are they will do their best to fix it ASAP.

I had a problem with my cable TV while at the resort and it turned out a storm had knocked out a satellite relay. Two Cable guys came (Matthew McComeherehunny and Jonny Dept of satellite TV!). They tracked down the problem and fixed it.

Every resort experiences malfunctions and wear and tear but it's really hard to track down if guests don't tell them about the problems. Letting the ON SITE people who work the front desk or a manager know there is a problem frequently will get you better service IMHO.

Good luck with your wifi signal problem. I have always had great signals at Disney no matter where I have stayed so I think this might be some sort of a weird glitch.

AND.... if you see Matthew McComeherehunny or Johnny Dept running around give them a BIG kiss and tell them Ninja Mom said hi!

OH and Couchy! We are still waiting for that picture of a hot guy by the pool with a drink! Get busy woman!

200 days until our Disney vacation :cool1:

I have a quick question not related to the resorts, but for Quick Service. What are some of your favorite places to grab a bit to eat on the go? This is for all over Disney. We usually do TS, but we are going to try to save money with QS. Thank you for your help :)

Can't think of a more rational reason for heading back over to Beach Club than to lounge around SAB and get to visit with Rocky.

Of course, that does require some occasional stalking to be positioned in her area but after all these years, I think she's used to it.

Can't wait to stalk ... I mean see :rolleyes1 ... her this summer.

Definitely my favorite QS is now BOG at the MK. Yum! Loved the potato leek soup and the roast beef as well as the ham & cheese & the strawberry cream cheese cupcakes & well, I think you get the idea.

I also like the lobster bisque and a baguette from the Boulangerie Patisserie in France. Might try their Quiche Florentine this year.

Also like the Roast Beef Sandwich with Jarlsberg cheese from Kringla Bakery in Norway.

Really enjoy eating the Grilled Chicken Breast Sandwich with a four-cheese blend, tomato, avocado and arugula from Hurricane Hannah's while lounging around SAB.

For something different, my DH like the Grilled Vegetable Sandwich at Backlot Express at DHS. We sometimes get the BBQ Pork Sandwiches at Flame Tree in AK.

We also enjoyed ordering some less expensive food from Tutto Gusto Wine Cellar in Italy. Not a quick service but not a table service either. Would like to try Spice Road Table (same concept) in Morocco this summer. And Crews Cup Lounge in the Yacht Club is another one we like to go to for dinner that is somewhere in-between as well.
