The ME will pick you up approximately three hours before scheduled departure of your flight; however, I believe that the ME picks up at BC at five minutes and 35 minutes after the hour - i.e. 1:05 and 1:35; they tell you to be waiting outside at least ten minutes prior to your scheduled pick-up time, as the motor coach can be early and will not wait. You can call ME to find out what time your family is scheduled.
  • Magical Express phone: (866) 599-0951

Also, be aware that if you are doing resort check-in of flight with bags, the outside resort check-in desk closes promptly at 1:00 p.m., so maybe do that prior to breakfast (resort's standard check-out time is 11:00 a.m., anyway).

You will appreciate the convenience and ease of the ME service.

Thank you.

Our plan was to get up, get packed, check in our bags and then go to breakfast.

Has anyone on this list received a PIN offer for fall? If so, are the dates the same as what is being offered for the free dining offer (basically, excluding the middle of October). We are going to be at BC 10/16 - 23, regardless of any special offers, but a nice discount would sure be nice...and I haven't received a PIN in years!!

Hi - What list are you talking about? I would love to get on it.. :)

:scared1::scared1:OMG...that is about the creepiest clown I've ever seen!! I;ve never seen it at night before...daytime was bad enough. My kids (older when they first saw it when we walked through BW just to see the Christmas décor) said it looked like it had spaghetti-os for hair...but I'm glad we never saw it at night!!! I may have night mares from that one!!

Does anyone think that clown is a natural red head or is he cheating with Sherwin Williams Red number 666?

A PIN offer is one that is sent directly to an email address or a snail mail address...the PIN code is unique to the name of the recipient and can't be used by anyone else. There is no known way figuring out who gets them and who doesn't...lots of speculation, but nothing concrete. They have a new name for them now....can't remember what it is, I always think of UFO when I see the acronym, so it's something like that...maybe "unique coded offer" (UCO) or similar...someone else will know.

I got one in 2012 that I was able to use, that was nice as we had booked three rooms at BC for a family trip (mom and dad sprung for the room...kids paid park tickets and dining...). It was a nice discount!! Haven't gotten one since!!

Are you SV, GV or WV with your room request? Since you are just using the room for sleeping and changing and not worried about view, I would guess you are SV? Ask for upper floor, king bed if possible. At check-in, make sure your room is not near the service area or you get the back-up beeping at 5:00am (look at the map on page one of this thread for the location of the service area). Don't get a room near the elevator or you will get the foot traffic. You can never guarantee who your neighbors will be. All you can do is hope that you don't get the wild bunch next door. It's tough sometimes to control the rug-rats when they get excited or when they get overly-tired (unless you subscribe to the Ninja Mom theory of the use of pool noodles, and even then that might not help). If however you find yourself in the situation where there is the family next door that subscribes to the theory that they are the only ones in the place so it is okay to let the kids run wild, you can always go back to the front desk and request that a hotel manager or hotel security address the issue with the supposed adults in the room. If you have booked a GV room, go with "gazebo view" and you will not regret it. Hope you have a great time and remember, one day you may be that family where the kids are overly-excited or extremely tired and you will also be concerned about the noise they are making and what the neighbors may think. :)

Thanks for your suggestion. We are garden view, that's what was available for the discount when I booked. It sounds like I should call to make these requests instead of just the online checkin. Thanks again!

Cheating is my guess. Maybe a brave soul can check out the back of the clown's neck for any suspicious birthmarks.

In ten years of traveling to Disney, I've only gotten two - and those both came in the last few months. My son, who is seven, has gotten three pin codes in the mail. Totally weird.

One hour before the park opens and it's a M&G with Elsa, Anna, and Olaf. Breakfast is at 8. We fly out the 23rd at 1:30. I think my youngest would love this, but an 8:00 breakfast might be pushing things. We could easily be packed up and ready to go so we're just heading into the park for breakfast, eating, then heading back to the resort to check out and fly home. It's pricy and the menu isn't extensive, but I don't do character meals thinking I'm getting some sort of bargain out of it. My main concern is the cancellation policy - 90 days out, which is sometime next week. I'm not one to run about on a travel day, but the 22nd is going to be a resort day, so it's not as if our schedule is packed with activities. My oldest thinks we should do it. But she thinks we should do everything...

If you really want to do it, my thoughts would be:

a) Tiffany Towncar always picks us up 2 hours before our flight, so I assume that's satisfactory time to get to the airport for a domestic flight, assuming you are taking a towncar or a cab back to the airport. If you are taking Magical Express, that's another story.

b) I believe the meal is in the Odyssey building, which is sort of between Mexico and Future World. So it's not like you have to walk back to International Gateway from a building near the very front of Epcot.

c) Usually you don't have to actually "check out" of a hotel. The night before you leave, they stick an invoice under your door, showing what will be charged to your credit card. You could go to the front desk on your last night to get a print-out, so you could see it and resolve any problems then.

d) What, exactly, is the cancellation policy? Do you lose the entire cost of the meal, or is there just some amount you pay as a penalty if you are a no show?

I got one yesterday (didn't notice until today). But BC is only 20% off. We could switch to YC and save $200, but I think I'm sticking with BC. :)

We're planning on using ME on the way to the WL, but I'd thought about getting a car to pick us up for the trip home just so we'd have that extra hour. I've used Happy Limo in the past and it's been great. I've also heard good things about Tiffany Towncar, so I think I'll opt with one of those for that last day. Honestly, if we stayed at the resort until we got picked up, we'd just be moping at the resort waiting to be picked up. And you're right - the breakfast is in the Odyssey building, so it's not a massive haul from one end of the park to the IG.

We'd lose the whole cost of the meal if we don't make it there. That's the only sticking point. But I think I'm going to go for it. My older kids were never big on the character meets. Aria is just at that age where everything is magical and she sleeps with an Olaf doll every night. It's funny - it never occurred to me that kids really believed the guy in the suit was really Buzz Lightyear. Maybe my kids were just too old by that point to truly believe. But Aria is looking at pictures of her siblings standing with Rapunzel and she's just amazed they got meet the honest-to-goodness Rapunzel. I figure she's had to go through three surgeries by the age of three. And I spent the last few months of pregnancy not knowing if she'd even live. If meeting the "real" Anna and Elsa and Olaf will be the highlight of her day, and I can make it happen, it's going to happen.

I draw the line at Bippity-Boppity-Boutique, though. Those tight buns look painful.

Look out little girl, he's going to eat you!! LOL...just too creepy!

I'd be at the breakfast if I had the opportunity and I don't have the reasons you have! I'd be happy just to not have to worry about fighting to get a fp for the Anna and Elsa meet and greet! And you get to meet other characters? That sounds awesome! I will never do bippity either, totally understand. I get why it's hard to commit to something nonrefundable but it sounds totally worth it!

My favorite BBB story is from one of my friends who took her 4 or 5 year old daughter for a makeover (or whatever they call it). As soon as they left, the daughter freaked out and was inconsolable because she was so uncomfortable. They had to go back to their resort and wash everything out of her hair and face immediately. There's a significant amount of money, literally down the drain!

She can laugh about it. Now.

In mid-August when you are going to be at the YC the refurb work will not have started if they get started in September like they are supposed to. Going with "gazebo view" will keep you away from that area where they are supposed to be starting (5th floor CL) just in case. Also this will help you get closer access to the secret entrances (fire escapes) which allow you qucker access to the boat dock area. It doesn't guarantee no noisy neighbors (I have personal experience with that) but you really can never guarantee you will avoid that and I will say that it seems families with smaller children like to be a little closer to the elevator if possible and the conventioners are more likely going to be at the Swalfin end of the resort. I would go with a request of 1) gazebo view, 2) upper floor and not worry about the king bed since those are few and far between. I hope you have a great time.

I did consider the fact that we don't have to blow a FP on A&E. I have five-day passes that I plan to upgrade, so we'll likely do that our first night. Maybe grab a FP for Wishes and a few other things. I thought about taking care of A&E that night, but now we can do something else with it. Maybe Peter Pan, since the standby lines are so ridiculous. The only coaster Aria will be able to ride is the Barnstormer. We tried a kiddie coaster at Hershey Park and she seemed to like it. Amara now has great hopes that she'll have one sister who will go on all the coasters with her. She just needs to grow several inches.

We did the Pirates League a few years ago and the kids all loved it. I'd be willing to do that one again, for sure. Well, I should qualify that - Liam decided to go with Jake from the Neverland Pirates and the hair piece was itchy. When he took it off, he looked like Sam Donaldson's mini-me.

Good Morning Everyone!! How's the Captains Grill at breakfast time? Wanted to relax a bit before heading out to the parks (trying to take it a bit slower for this trip) by having a few sit down meals either at our resort or maybe taxi over to another one.

Favorite breakfast spots????

We always eat breakfast at the Captain's Grille when we stay at the YC/BC and it is a nice, quiet place to eat. You can order off the menu or have the breakfast buffet. You would be able to get a made-to-order omelet with the buffet. It is nothing special but the food is good and it is very convenient. :)

Captain's Grille is great if you want a big hearty breakfast, and the service is fast for eating on the go. We usually don't eat much in the mornings so we'll hit the Ale and Compass for a muffin or something quick from the Marketplace. :)
