2012 Free Dining Watch and Wait HERE

We are going May 2012 - Does any one know if they ever offer free dining at that time? When would they come out with the deals for then? I booked our room but am holding off on other stuff to see what we can get?

We traveled to WDW May 25th through June 4th of this year and I was able to take advantage of two different offers. Because our trip started before free dining started (May 27th), I booked a room only reservation for May 25th and 26th with a 25% off room only promo. I then booked a package reservation for the remainder of our trip with a free dining promotion. I booked both on August 16th which I believe was the day that the promotions came out.

I had never known Disney to have free dining during our travel dates and was super excited to have gotten it. It saved our family $1,500.00. I was also surprised that they had free dining over the Memorial Day holiday.

With the way the economy is.....still.....I am hoping that Disney will realize that they need to offer more in the way of discounts for the Spring and Summer travelers.

Someone on another thread said they had heard rumors that another general public offer would be coming out somewhere around August 13th or maybe it was the 15th. I sure hope they are right and that they include dates in May and June, 2012.

I'm hoping for June 2012 dates as well.

uugghh... i hate all this waiting, anticipating and constant checking for free dining!! still have my fingers crossed for 8-12. figures all year long for the first time i have gotten pin codes now...nothing...i have been on the disney site pricing different options for us since about january. it seems that maybe they know you are looking and they try to get you there sooner so they mail you a pin... wish i had one now....

She took anouther look it was the free dining for Canada . So I was doing the happy dance for nothing . I will continue to watch she thought it would be coming soon . Keeping our fingers crossed we get FD it would save us over 1500.

I am getting anxious as well! I want to get everything booked so I know our pricing total...we like to pay off all vacation money before the trip so it isn't a concern...I have about half saved of my estimated costs.

I really feel that I should qualify for the Canadian discount, lol...I am in Michigan, 20 minutes from the Windsor, CAN border. Is it really that much cheaper for me to travel than someone from Windsor? I think not. Hopefully August/September will get announced in the next month or two and I can get booked.

I cannot even begin to explain how happy I was to see this about the Canadian free dining dates. I have been looking and looking and everything I have seen said until march.

So I called today after seeing this thread and there it was Free dining for Sept 2012 Just when we want to have a huge grand gathering for our 10 year anniversary!!

I am soo excited it is not funny!! Does any one know the cut off date for the canadians to get this promo, I was so excited that was the one thing I forgot to ask!

Most of the family has been called, I am waiting on a few calls back and looks like things are in motion, so I am sure we will all book tomorrow! I am soo happy!!

I sure hope Fd comes out for the rest of the US population soon!! I feel for you, without the free dining it would be much harder for us to go!! It is by far my best deal!!

I even asked DH about getting time off work for vacay and he assured me no problem, so I am working on a surprise trip. Surprise he doesn't know I am working on it. He thinks I am still planning on the upcoming trip for mom and me in Jan. which is pretty much wrapped up, except for just waiting and waiting and waiting some more.

Surprises are sooo nice!! I am working on a 2013 Surprise trip for my daughters graduation. My DD is handicap and has excelld in school and now looking at hopefully a career in law. I think a little special pixie dust and a suprise graduation gift is in order here for her!!

I believe that the free dining for Canadian residents has been released up through Sept 2012.

The free dining for Canadians is for, late summer early fall, for the dates of Aug 19-Sept29. If you adjust your dates you will be able to get free dining!!
