Congratulations!!!

Family of the day at the pool!

When we were FotD in July, we took the two seats directly behind you. We also took the table to the right (in the picture) so we would have some shade and a place to eat lunch. It was awesome! How early did you get to SAB to be picked? When we got to SAB, I thought the pool had already opened so I thought we were getting there late. Never did I think we would be picked!

Only 5 more days!!! I just hope the weather isn't as dreary as I've seen recently!

We have a Yacht Club Garden view room booked. I have looked at the map of the resort. I would like a room that's in the section closest to SAB, boat dock, and lobby....should I just request close to lobby?? Is that possible with a GV room? Thanks!!

Our favorite YC gv rooms are the ones with the view of the wedding gazebo. This way you are right near the "secret door" so you are close to the boat dock and you don't have to traipse through the lobby in your swim suit!

Dee - Love the "Flat Ben". Can't wait to hear about his adventures.
I'm hoping that you'll make it in person to the BC/YC Mini Dis Meet next July!

Absolutely agree! Best GV rooms are wedding gazebo view!

Just got back from 8 days at the BC. Loved every minute of it. Will not stay anywhere else if I go back to Disney. Vacation was great except for flights. Flight down supposed to leave at 5:45 AM but was delayed then canceled due to electrical issues with the plane. Stuck at my small hometown airport for 6 hours before we finally got a plane to Philly then Orlando. On way home we got delayed in Orlando as they fixed a tire on plane then they overbooked flight so we had to wait till 2 people took vouchers to give up seats. Then while sitting in the plane pilot said Dulles was closing due to rain???? Sat in plane for 45 minutes then finally left Orlando only to miss connection by 10 minutes. Then United told me it was weather problem so they can't help me and we got stuck in DC overnight. Finally got a flight out this morning. Never flying United again. But we loved Beach Club and had a great time while in Disney.

I think I have read about the BC "secret door"...where is the YC one??? popcorn::

So, wedding gazebo view, huh? Sounds pretty. :goodvibes

Thanks for the info on the microwave.

I have another question, we are booked YC CL next July. Curious as to why they only offer standard view or deluxe for parties of 5. Its not the end of the world but having a lagoon view would have been nice. This is our first CL stay and we are really looking forward to it. Just was curious.

30 days from right now, I'll be at Beach Club! So excited! I thought you guys might understand my excitement. ;)

Anyone have any opinion about the soap at the BC? I normally use face wash but since we're flying I don't want to pack more than I need. Is the soap they provide pretty good or not.

It's not great. Even when staying deluxe, I pick up a travel size face wash at Target for a $1 or two before leaving. It's totally worth it in my opinion.

I loved their soap-its h2o and they provide both bath and facial soap. We had no problems using it and my family has really sensitive skin:)

I didn't make a specific request but should have. Our GV us waaaaay in the back, very far from lobby. Yes there's a green view, but it's a row of trees with the parking lot still kind of visible. This part of the lot seems to be in use for construction staging for various returns taking place. So lots of beeping from trucks backing up starting at 5:30 am.

I also love the H20 products! :thumbsup2 I've been buying from them online since I first used them at the BC a few years ago.

I believe the LV CL rooms only sleep 4 (plus a child under 3 in a crib). I also believe that is verified on the first few pages of this thread. On those pages you can find all of the facts and answers to frequently asked questions about YC & BC. You can probaly get a lot of your info there.

Hi there, we're staying at YC water view first two weeks of November.:cheer2:
I am a little anxious about us all::laundy: (me) :coffee: (dh) :drive: (ds 14) :happytv:(ds 10) and :artist: (dd 5) surviving happily in the one room for two weeks:crowded:!

Wee'll obviously be using SAB and be spending the greater portion of our waking hours out of our room but with a two week vacation we'll be needing some down time too.

My question is this: what do you lovely people know about areas of the resort that we can use to escape the crowds but where we can get a little personal space from each other too. All ideas welcomed!
