This question was posted on one of the old FAQ threads still floating out there...

Anyone just back or there now (RachelRol?) who knows.

If not, Pixarmom will be there soon and can check. According t the OPs ticker, I don't think they will be there until August 2012, but this would be good info for me to add to page 1.

Where are the lockers? How much? Key or code? Picture???

Cost of pool noodles at gift shop.

Dee, I arrive next Tuesday and we are heading straight for SAB so I'm happy to check and let you all know.

Teena I hope you feel better soon! Hopefully it is nothing serious. My prayers are with you.

So, I am a long time lurker of this thread, but we are finally booked for our stay at the BC (maybe changing to YC) next June. :cool1: We will be there from June 22-June 30. I am so happy to officially join up.

Teena- I have been reading about your health issues and wish you a speedy recovery. (BTW- Congrats on your GD:goodvibes)

We just returned from an 8 night stay at the YAcht Club - we were supposed to stay at BC but it turns out there had been some communication problem between Disney UK reservations and the US reservation system - I had upgraded to a garden view as soon as this was possible in the UK system ( wasn't when I made my reservation in JAnuary) and my voucher clearly stated garden view. I also requested a full balcony. WHen we checked in the CM said we were booked in a standard room and that nothing had been changed or added to the booking since January (request for full balcony wasn't there either - although I had telephone Uk reservations the week before to make sure it was duly noted!). WHen he saw my voucher he started looking to move us but no garden views were available at BC so he moved us over to the Yacht Club in a water view room with a full balcony. I had been looking forward to staying at the BC - but the full balcony was worth the move - I especally appreciated that it was "enclosed" and gave us shelter from the evening rain storms. I loved sitting out in the mornings and evenings (great view of SAB and the Boardwalk) and we ate our breakfast here each morining.

All this to say that if you want a balcony - go for the yacht club! My only complaint about Yc is that there were buisness events going on in the conference center and seeing people in "business mode" while I was on vacation would serve to remind me that my vacation was almost over! (who needs to be reminded of teh "real world" while at Disney) other than that the room was great and all the CMs were as nice and helpful as can be.
I really think BC should make the Full balcony a room category - because I would'nt want to pay for a garden or water view romm and not be able to sit outside and enjoy it!

Thanks!

Are you counting down the hours yet???

I sure am! I'm driving my poor wife nuts!! And to think she was the one who wanted to go to WDW on our honeymoon back in 1991 when I wanted Hawaii!

If she only knew what kind of WDW monster she would give birth to she would of chosen Hawaii in a heartbeat!!

Back from the ER ... six hours. They "think" its a toxin attack from removing the tube ... rarely happens. They did all sorts of cultures and will know the results Friday or Saturday. In the meantime, they loaded me up with morphine in the hospital and pills for home plus a kidney antibiotic. However, they feel the cultures will probably show exactly what they are dealing with and then hopefully know how to treat it.

Have to say I've reached the end of the rope. I honestly don't know how much more I can take this year ... I have no idea if I can still work or go to Jeanne's.

ps. since I hadn't been on this thread in a while didn't realize you were having health issues.

UGH! I'm sorry Teena!

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you that you feel better and receive clearance to fly out to help Jeanne.

As someone who is heading to her 6th doctor's appointment on the same issue that has been "fixed" 4 times already... I share your frustration. Hopefully they can figure it out quickly and get you better fast. I'm hoping we make it to our YC stay in a few weeks... without any medical issues on my part. (though I have already decided if I need to put it off until after our trip... I will... the complications have been worse each time than the surgery itself!!!)

All I can say is that I will be more than estatic when this year ends.

I am thinking about you.....
