Teena- I'm sure you are really really tired of hearing doctors tell you that the things you are experiencing are very uncommon and rarely happen.

Well, yesterday I paid off my October trip!!!

I also purchased the photopass, so that marks two major things off my list!!!

I did a little sniffing around and noticed that a lot of resorts are pretty booked-up the week of 9/18-9/24 which is when we'll be at the YC. At first hubby was all freaked out when I mentioned it. Poor thing. I had to calm him down with some reasoning: 1. If the crowds get too bad park hours will get extended which is not a bad thing. ~and~ 2. We're booked at the Yacht Club. Who cares if the parks are crowded!

I am going for a long weekend from the 22nd to the 25th. I am staying DVC and the only resort open was AKV (I booked in June). So I think it is definitely going to be somewhat crowded

I just spent this afternoon in the ER with DS3. When I picked him up from MIL house after work, his eyes were almost swollen shut. He was having an allergic reaction to something, but we're not sure what was the cause. No foods out of the ordinary. He had a lot of hives scattered across his body, so it has been hard to pick out anything that looks specifically like an insect bite. DH is allergic to bees and spiders, so I guess he gets it from Dad. So it looks like we'll be toting an EpiPen with us to Disney.

I am so ready for vacation....25 days can't pass by quickly enough.

The Disney photographers will photograph you around the parks (and other places by special order) and you can then buy them online or purchase CD's before you go or after you get home.

Photopass is the card you get after the first time you take a picture in the parks from one of the photographers. You carry this with you and give it to each photographer when you want your pic taken. When you get home(or while your on vaca) you can type in your number online and see all your pics and order things. The photopass itself is free.

I think the op meant that they preordered the cd. I think it's $99 and you get a copy on a cd with the photo release for all the pics taken while you were on vacation. I think if you wait till after it's $149. I didn't do it the first time i went and we ended up spending like $50 on three prints they took. The second time i preordered the cd and got like 150 pics i can use however i want. It's great!

I wondered about the photo thing but thought it was free so I was confused. Good to know about preordering. Off to check the links.

Back from the ER ... six hours. They "think" its a toxin attack from removing the tube ... rarely happens. They did all sorts of cultures and will know the results Friday or Saturday. In the meantime, they loaded me up with morphine in the hospital and pills for home plus a kidney antibiotic. However, they feel the cultures will probably show exactly what they are dealing with and then hopefully know how to treat it.

Have to say I've reached the end of the rope. I honestly don't know how much more I can take this year ... I have no idea if I can still work or go to Jeanne's.

So sorry to hear this Teena. Keeping you in my prayers and hoping that you can still keep your two vacations.

Oh, Teena...I am so sorry. Enough is enough. You are going to get better...this must pass and you will be completely healed. In time, you will work again...BC would not be the same without you....and Jeanne and Lily will be waiting and ready when you are able to get there...your heart is with them now.

Do take very gentle care...we are here to hold you up with our love and prayer.

And as a bonus, I will throw in my 2 favorite photopass tips, although a lot of you probably already know this...

Take a picture of the photopass ID number on the back of the card as soon as you get it. If you lose the card, you will have easy access to your photos.

Ask the photographer to take a photo with your camera, too. A lot of times they will offer. Some of the pictures taken of us never made it on our account last year.

Spoke too soon. About 7 PM last night I started shaking and running a high fever. Went to bed and then around 11 PM I started having horrible pain in my shoulders, arms, legs, knees, feet ... everywhere except the kidneys. Was up all night ... it hurts so bad. Waiting for Dr. to call me now. I can't imagine what is going on.

Thanks for the update. I bet you are sick if it. You've been through enough already. They say things happen in 3s- Cancer, Kidneys, now this- So that's it you're done
