Thanks so much. We have reserved garden view but I'll put in a request for a private balcony just in case!

Put in the requst bc I remember looking at the wedding gazebo view rooms and there were shared balconies in there and that is garden view. I was in CL and the 4 rooms in CL GV wedding gazebo do not share but a few standard room garden view wedding gazebo did

Have a great trip Dee! I'm dying to go to Harry Potter someday!
Thinking of you Teena, hope all goes smoothly and easily with Peanut's arrival!!!
:goodvibes

Think of you Teena - can't wait to hear the good news.

I'm in serious "vacation mode" - Finishing packing, last minute cleaning, etc.

I want to get everything done today because tomorrow is my "spa day". My older kids always give me gift cards to a salon and spa that I love. Tomorrow I will cash them in for a facial, massage, spa manicure, spa pedicutre and blow out.

Tomorrow night the "Road trip" begins - wish me luck!!!!!

Robyn, I'm so excited for you! Enjoy your spa day tomorrow! (I have the spa gift cards from my kids sitting right here - must remember to book that appointment for the day before departure in August!) And I'll be thinking of you as you start your road trip - I remember the journey from my tween/teen years (although ours started in Fairfax, Va with a stop in Charleston!) Please remember to wave "hello" to that crazy South of the Border for us!

Have a great trip!!

Hi,

I have taken that tour and know that it meets at guest relations in the front of the park. They walk you to a training space indoors before you take the actual tour. I do not believe they will allow you to walk through the park to the front. I have heard that you can request for cab service and the Y/BC will give a voucher for this... but I have never done that. I would call the number for tours and just check with them explaining you are staying at the Y/BC. I was not staying at Y/BC when I took the tour.

It's a great tour though lots of fun to be riding around the countries with no one there!! Have fun!!

~Nannette

Did you enjoy the tour? Do you think money spent on the keys to kingdom tour would be better spent? We have never done a tour but we plan on it this Dec.

Thanks!

Will you be taking 95 all the way or a scenic route?

95 all the way!

18 hours in the car with three kids assures that DH and I take the
QUICKEST route possible!!!!

On the way down we drive straight through - only stopping for gas, coffee and bathroom breaks. I even pack all the food and drinks. On the way home we stop in Hilton Head for four nights to rest up from Disney!!!!

Hi,

To be honest both are great tours. The Segway tour is very informative and its always fun to ride the segways. The Keys to the Kingdom tour is a bit longer and is equally as fun. The Keys Tour will take you on 2 rides and you will get lunch at Columbia Harbour House. You wear headsets while on this tour and get lots of information on things on Main Street as well as going behind the scenes... Some people say the Keys Tour ruins the magic... I just think it enhances it, but then again I LOVE all things Disney!! You can't go wrong with either tour!!

Hope this helps and enjoy!!

15 days left till my first Beach Club stay! Yippie!!

I don't know if anybody will have an answer to this, but I have a garden view room reserved and we are a party of 6 (one child under the age of 3) so we should be given a room with a daybed, correct? I've also put in a request for full balcony on my reservation. Does anybody know what the odds are of my request being fulfilled?

Also, our flight gets into Orlando at 5:10 p.m. We are taking the Magical Express to the resort. Is it safe to assume we'd arrive at the BC between 6-6:30. We won't be going into the parks that night and I was hoping we could grab a bite to eat at Beaches and Cream after checking in and then hopefully make it over to the campfire and movie on the beach. I'm sure a lot of this depends on the wait times, but is this a feasible plan? How late does the campfire and movie run?

Thanks!

Nannette has done both, unfortunately I have only done the Keys tour. I will say that it was money well spent. The fun thing about the segway deal is that you get to ride those around Epcot in an almost deserted park (which may be good as you'd be sure to run peiople over if it weren't). They look really fun to ride. However, the Keys tour is very informative and the trip to the float barn as well as to the tunnels is really interesting. I don't think it ruins the "Magic", it only enhances it in my opinion. You can't go wrong either way.

Happy planning.

OMG - I thought when Teena said she "saw something" that it was a boy!

My original guess was a girl!

CONGRATULATIONS NANNY TEENA!!!!!!!
