2011 Yacht & Beach Club FAQ, Part II

Jay,

I count down all year til my next vacation...you are normal!!! Living in MA, most of the year the weather is cruddy, rainy, snowy, cold etc....there are very few days that are perfect weatherwise, so wanting to enjoy mostly sunny, warm days is a dream come true! I say countdown, but also enjoy those precious few beautiful summer days!

Also I cry the first time I get to MK every visit, and I cry on our departure day....I can't help it! Just such a beautiful, magical place so I think you are not crazy there either!!!

I am at the BC tomorrow...thought it would never get here. You will be there very soon!

Have a great trip!! Have a Sunken Treasure by the pool for me!

and I love every bit of it!!!!

I have been wishing for my trip...I don't want summer to end after the winter we had in NH!!! but I want Disney more!!! Our first stay at YC CL...Which reminds me I need to send an email to the IPO...I want to see if they can help me with my surprise to DH...I don't want to walk right up to the clipboard person waiting to tae us up to CL...I was hoping they would be able to come up and say
"O'Connor family please come with us!!!!"
I guess wishful thinking but maybe...

We booked GV CL. For those who know, it looks to me like there are only 9 garden view club level rooms and they are in the courtyards (the courtyard at the main entrance/exit to the dock and pool and the one with the volleyball net), am I correct? It also looks like they all have full balcony's. Is that also correct? I do have full balcony as my only request. We are planning to have a lot of "down" time and spending most of our time enjoying the resort. There are five of us, including 3 teens, just hoping for a little extra space Thanks for the info

What time are you expecting to check in? We'll be checking in on the 16th too ! We leave on July 12th (driving) stay at Buena Vista Palace in DTD the first night and we are staying at the GF July 14-16 before checking into BC.
Maybe we'll se you at check in!!!!

We can't wait either! Have a wonderful time at the GF! How exciting We just booked flights last week I'm a little nervous, not big on flying. We have a midmorning flight booked, but I'm keeping my eye out for an earlier one. How about you? What time do you expect to check in? Coming from the GF you will probably get there pretty early! (lucky you ) If not at check in, I know I will see you in the lounge! (especially since I looked at your picture on the first page )

Thanks for the balcony info. I am pretty sure that all of the gv cl balcony's are full also. Don't really care which courtyard we are in, was just trying to reassure myself about the balcony's

MM, we worked out the care of the noodle family,

Forever11709 will have the care of the family until 7/14, we will share our vacation with The Noodles from 7/14- 7/21. We will then drop them at bell services for a well needed rest before we leave on 7/21 (unless someone wants then for a day) and then Jultomzach will get temporary custody of our vacation buddies on 7/23.

The Noodle Family is living our dream of living at BC!! LOL

Making some planning progress today and had to share with people who "get it"! Booked car service to and from the airport. I even booked a limo for the Orlando legs of the trip!!!!! (tried magical express last trip - never again!) How much fun will that be to pull up to the Yacht club in a limo! I booked with FL tours - anyone have any experience with them? They seem to be highly recommended on the Transportation board, but I admit I didn't look into it too much.
Next on the list - garden grocer order. Only 1 1/2 months away now - yippee!!!

According to my notes, most of the BC Water View Concierge Rooms have full balconies. I think there are 3 (out of 20 plus rooms in that category) that have the smaller balconies.

Jeanne is furious and wants to have her child in Canada ... Bob says we should all move to Canada ... Jeanne keeps calling and is so upset over the verdict ... I'm afraid she's going to have Peanut before the C-section if she doesn't calm down!

We'll probably check in around 8 am - but we'll be in the lounge most mornings for breakfast and most evenings for the appetizers. My kids love the chicken skewers and duck quesedillas (although I had to tell my ds that they were just quesedillas - too many ducks walking around BC!).

Just a quick note to say hi! It was a pleasure to talk to you again on our pass thru the Beach Club. We had a good trip and a fantastic meal at Cape May! We just got back home to Boca. Dh and I were talking and there may be a chance we can come back to the World at the end of July for a short weekend. Maybe we'll get to see you then.

It was wonderful talking with you and thank you so much for the great information!!! I'll be back at work on July 24th and 25th and then July 31st and August 1st ... if they schedule me. They were talking about not scheduling part-timers ... same thing that happened once before. I won't know until I get back from Jeanne's. But if I'm working, I definitely hope to see you!!!

My ex-step-dad has been watching it, too. I was wondering what he'd watch now....

We're all pretty furious, too. My youngest, Brian, didn't even finish watching the charges being read before he stormed out thru the garage door and slammed it behind him. I hate for my boys to see this. I dunno. Maybe now they understand the outrage when the verdict came in for OJ. I was only pregnant with my oldest then. LOL! I guess now is a good time for them to see that even our great justice system is flawed in that it rests in the hands of humans. Humans can never be 100% perfect 100% of the time.

No matter what the jury said, God knows. He's never not watching. There will come a time when this sociapath will stand before her maker and be held accountable. There will be no lies, no excuses, and no lawyers to put on a show. God will exact what is right. There's times when you just have to put your faith in Him that fairness will come by His hand. Look at OJ. He didn't get a happily-ever-after as well he shouldn't. Sometimes what is fair doesn't come from the hand of the judicial system. It's far deeper than that.

I'm not moving to Canada, tho. I don't do snow.
