No way $80 from bdl? thats great!!!! i'm paying over $200 round trip for my oct stay but i am also flying fri and mon for a long weekend so i didn't have flexibility.

I got $67 from MHT(NH) to MCO for our September trip.
If you are flying SW keep checking them everyday cause if the flight goes down you can get a credit for a future flight(trip to Disney  ) & you won't get charged a change fee. We did that last year booked at $119, it dropped down to $99 then again to $87. I had to change twice & I got charged nothing....used my credit for return flights at $87. It was great one of the many reasons I love SW :lovestruc

Good luck for a cheaper flight to Disney!!
Teena Lilly is adorable in her bath...since you love SW & they will be making loads of money off you for the next 18+ years...remember to always check flights daily!!!

We do this all the time and build up enough credit that it makes it worth while :banana::banana:

Did we get lucky or what!:wizard::wizard::wizard: It happened to be that special sale in June on S/W. In addition, midweek just worked out right as DD has to have her wisdom teeth pulled on 8/12, which is right before we drive to Chicago to drop her off at school. Hopefully, having these teeth pulled will not wreck her GPA!!

Have never been to Disney in October, so it will, once again, be an adventure. Hope you have a great time as well!:goodvibes:goodvibes

This is SO exciting! Great airfare, perfect time to celebrate and the haunted carriage ride looks too fun! Sounds like it fills up, so good to book it early. Our older boys would absolutely love that! We really enjoyed WL before we outgrew a standard room there, and it's a great location for MNSSHP. I actually looked into a short trip for MNSSHP, including the 10/27 party, but I'm guessing it's not likely. I hope you keep us posted! :)

Will do pixarmom.:thumbsup2:thumbsup2Excited for the fall break!:woohoo::woohoo::scared1::scared1::yay::yay:

Anyone know how accomodating the BC is when it comes to requesting a late check-out? I know it obviously will have to do with how many people are checking in that day. We're not planning on going to any parks on our check-out day, just hanging at SAB for a while before lunch. If we can have access to our room for a couple of extra hours, that would be great to be able to change clothes and what not in our room, then check-out, have lunch and then that should bring us pretty close to our DME pickup time.

Disadventurer, you are officially in charge of booking all of my airfare! We can fly out of BDL or PVD (neither are close, but they're equidistant from us)! :)

Always on the prowl for a good airfare. Love to hunt! Your situation sounds like ours. It's about 65 miles to BDL, (and the car knows the way) or, it's about 100 miles on 95 one way to PVD.

DD19 had a nice return flight from PVD to MDW the Sunday after Thanksgiving at 7:30 am. It was a free flight with the original availability leaving from Boston at 6 am. Did we get lucky or what!!:wizard::wizard: Would have hated driving 3 hours to Boston in the wee hours!! It's kind of like Disney pixie dust in the air!:wizard::littleangel:

Quick question, will the refridgerators at the BC hold 3 half gallons of milk? I'm putting in an order at Garden Grocer today and don't want to order more than what will fit.

3 might be tight, 2 will make it, i order the inexpensive styrofoam cooler from garden grocer to handle the over flo used ice machines down the hall

Even if you can't have the late checkout, you can still use the facilities (showers, changing room, locker) in the Healthclub. Not quite as nice as having your own room to change and dry off, but it is an option.

I still cant believe that the Deluxe resorts don't have WiFi. I would not expect it to be free, but I would expect it to be available! :confused3

That being said, I brought my iPad to Cuba this past May knowing full well that there would be no Internet service. I used it for videos and to read my e-books when my ereader crapper out on me. I loaded up a bunch of stuff for the kids which was really helpful when we were taking a sun break and Scooby Doo turned out to be in Spanish. :rotfl:

I hate that I'm considering bringing the laptop because of the lack of WiFi. Didn't I read that there us poolside and lobby WiFi? Or am I imagining?

Hi all,

Enjoy reading all the advice here and am now ready to start doing some posting :-)

I have a garden view booked for 8/13-8/23 and am considering upgrading to water view. Do you folks think it is worth the upgrade price or should I stay with garden view and add a request for a specific location?

My sister and I are travelling with our respective 16 yrs olds - I didn't think we'd spend a lot of time at the resort, but am rethinking because we'll be there for 11 days!

Thanks in advance for your advice :-)

My opinion....looking at the rack rates per night x 11 comes out to $825 more. Me personally, I'm saving the $$$$ and booking me some extra dining experiences.

They did have wireless in the BC lobby at one time but it wasn't available on our last stay. I have taken my laptop the last couple trips and would log in every couple days to 'check in'. You get 24hrs so I log in @ noon so I have the rest of that day and can get up early for a quick check the next morning.

I think this trip I'm going to invest in a internet stick for my laptop. We'll be in Florida for a month, so it will more then pay off, and I'll have it for other trips. I hear T-Mobile has the best rates. Even with my 12 nights in WDW it would pay off, at $10/night for WDW internet.

Hi! It's pretty subjective. For me, no. I'm happy with the GV I booked. I'll save the $ for my Dooney I plan to buy :goodvibes But if I get some extra magical pixie dust and get a free upgrade, I'd love a Lake view
More important to me is getting a full balcony. If I got upgraded to a lake view, but no full balcony, I wouldn't be happy, I'd rather get my GV & a full balcony.

Good Morning Beach Club Friends (you feel like family),

I am here asking for prayers for my Dad who had a heart attack on Thursday morning. We are anxiously waiting for good news. The doctors said it could be days before we know if he will recover. It is so hard to wait and not know...

Thank you all for positive thoughts and prayers.

Thinking about you during this tough time:hug:

My 80 yr old dad had two heart attacks last month. It is a hard time for the whole family, and the waiting is especially difficult. All you can do is be there for him giving support and love.
Im sure the DIS family will be praying for him now.
