I love the SAB slideshow!

My mom and I stayed at the YC for a long weekend in November. We just loved the entire YC/BC area. Since we want the rest of the family to try it out, we booked 3 nights at BCV before our BLT stay. I am so excited!!! I can't wait for my nephews to try SAB!

Just curious: Do the 2 bedroom villas have one or two balconies?

Hi everyone. We've recently returned from our first ever Disney cruise and I'm trying to catch up. :surfweb:

MickeyT and Amanda, congratulations. Hope you had fun yesterday.

Teena, congratulations to you and Bob. I hope Jeannie is doing well.

First floor villas have small patios. All other villas have balconies large enough for 2 chairs and a small table. There are many different configurations.

Here you go, Dee.

Hope you are having a ball! :cool1:

Last I knew you could buy and fill them at all those places.

It sounds like YC would be your best bet with a request for a daybed.

You don't want a one bedroom at BCV as there is no sleeper chair.

Wish I hadn't watched that video because now I want to change.

Does that pool close at 8pm?

Thank you for posting the slideshow of the pool! My kids loved it!
For those of you who have stayed at the Poly and the Yacht Club - how does the drawer/closet space compare? With 5 of us, we are always tight for space, but it's good to be prepared! Thanks!:goodvibes

There are five of us traveling and I always think the BC/YC gives you much more drawer space than the Poly or the GF. There is an additional chest of drawers with either four or five drawers. Between that, the samll drawers in the under the tv cabinet and the closet we never have a problem - and considering we stay for at least two weeks that's saying something!

Thank you! It's hard to tell from pictures, and so much better to hear from a personal experience!!! 2 weeks - that would be a dream for me!:goodvibes

Does anyone remember whether they have plain bread rolls of any sort available in the evening? Am toing and froing whether to u/g to CL for our 4 night Aug trip. It will only be an extra $100 a night and with 5 of us seems like a good idea but my youngest DD at 9 is a bit of a picky eater so might only eat a bread roll and some cheese or something when the rest of us enjoy our appetisers in the evening hence the question. We have stayed CL at the Poly before and loved the food offerings but the food at BC/YC looks a bit different and possibly a bit less kid friendly... Ohh decisions decisions...

I don't remember there being any "bread" per say except in the morning, haven't been since last spring. I remember in the evening they have some wonderful apps, like little southwestern egg rolls and spring rolls, etc. Maybe chicken wings if memory serves me correct.

We have a little one, DD 5 and that's a tough one, finding something they like. I remember our DD absolutely LOVED it (as did we) and her favorite were the hard boiled eggs that were sliced ever so beautifully.

Good luck with your decision!

When we stayed in June, they had assorted Pepperidge Farm crackers, slices of pumpernickel bread, and small white bread buns during the appetizer service. The cheeses varied each evening, but there was usually a selection of 3 different kinds. My two youngest kids are kind of picky, so they made themselves little cheese sandwiches with either the bread or crackers. They also had sliced apples with caramel dip and crudites, which the kids enjoyed.

Our family has stayed at Poly, YC, and BC. You will have way more drawer/closet space at Yacht/Beach Club than at Poly.I'm sure you will love it! That is another thing I will miss if we do end up going back to Poly. We are on the fence right now with resorts, but have plenty of time to decide.

Teena,
I just read your exciting news! Congratulations to you and Bob the soon to be Grandparents!! Glad you were able to visit Jeanne. I hope she continues to do well with her pregnancy and has a beautiful healthy baby. I know how thrilled you must be!

I looked through all of my CL evening appetizer pictures. I don't think I posted this one, but you can see the cracker selections:

Thanks everyone for all the feedback about the rolls and the photo! Crackers for my DD will be perfect - definitely swaying towards booking Club level, seems such a good deal for only $100/night - thanks for such a great thread, have stayed at both BC/YC several times but still found loads of useful info on here!

Can't wait til August:banana:

I do remember some small rolls - my kids used to put peanut butter and jelly on them!

My kids found the BC CL offerings to be very kid friendly!

There are small dinner rolls during the CL appetizer time (5-7 pm). There are also little containers of peanut butter and jelly or just butter to put on them. My kids LOVE these! Also apples with carmel dip, cheese and crackers, and some more "exotic" (not very) choices. I'm sure your DD will find something. My DS is also very picky and he always had his fill. :goodvibes Also an option: there are plain bagels and croissants at breakfast. You could always take a couple of these back to your room and put them in a baggie until the appetizer time, if you think she would like these better--or in case they change things before your trip!

Have a great trip! We love the BC/YC CL!! (Have stayed twice BC CL and once YC CL).

Hello....after 10+ trips at the Polynesian club level, we stayed at Beach Club last month and loved it! We stayed in a regular, water view room (last minute trip and club level was not available). We are planning to return for Star Wars weekends and want to go club level as usual again. A couple questions about club level......do all suites have full balconies? Do all suites have water view?

Where exactly is the lounge located?

I'm sorry, I read probably 100+ pages of this thread before our December trip, this thread is huge and I can't find the info i want at the moment! :goodvibes

Just curious: Do the 2 bedroom villas have one or two balconies?

The balcony configurations vary. Some 2 Brs have one balcony off the second BR and a longer one that spans the living room and master. Some have three separate balconies. Some have one balcony off the LR and another off the 2nd BR but a picture window in the master.

Have fun with your split. We love that combination.

Just book our first BC stay for Dec 16-23rd...so glad I found this thread!!!! We are staying on a pin code. We usually stay at the Moderates. My 11yr old daughter's dream was to stay at BC ever since she was about 6. We have always told her to marry a rich man....so excited for this trip. Now I need to go through these pages and find out as much as I can:woohoo:
