I am also good with the $5.00 tip, thanks so much for doing this. I feel great not wasting money on Chairs, this is so green!!!

I'm with you....we'll tip privately as well. It's just nice to have something coming from our group.

And I totally think Philly is the new Anartica ! Between the zero wind chills and ice from Friday and Sunday, I'm so done with winter already.....
 

$5 is fine with me. That's what I was also thinking of tipping the CM on our return of the chairs -- does that figure seem in the ball park to others?

Please add me to the chair swap! Wow, it seems that I just got in before the deadline.

We will be there 8/11 thru 8/19 2009. We would like to be in both chair swaps.

I realize we won't be able to get one set of chairs until the 15th but that's okay.

I haven't closed the thread yet because we ended up visiting NYC today. So now I'm behind. I have to work tommorrow, so I probably won't close the swap until Friday now.

But Lorali71.....unless I'm just too exhausted from running all over NYC in 20 degree wind chills......I see a delay with both groups. In group ONE, I can let you partake in the swap from 8/12 to 8/19. In group TWO, I can let u swap from 8/15 to 8/19. So I realize this isn't your entire stay, so let me know if you're still interested. As I said....I'll need to know by Friday.

I think adding tip money in is a good idea as well and plan to privately tip them too. We need to keep the CM's happy since they play a part in helping make this happen!

Maria!!!!! Change of plans for the third time!! My airfare just went down for my spring trip....got a $158 credit!! Now I am planning on VB in October. Can't call till tomorrow....can you put me back on the chair swap list? If its too late, thats ok. I'm planning for Oct. 11th - departing 16th.

We'll be at VB from 8/19 and checking out early on 8/23, so if there is availability we'd love to get in on the swap from 8/19-8/22. Thanks, and I hope I'm not too late.
 
I've got u added mandysmom. Tommorrow I will close the swap list and total everything up. I actually have some extra time to work on this now because all my family and friends who I had plans to visit today are sick :sick: :sad1:
 
Today is the day. Closing the swap. I've totaled everything up and the cost for chairs/umbrellas/holder/carry bags comes to $274.28 with the shipping included in that.

The $5 tip per person comes to $175 for the CM's. I came to that amount by multiplying 35 people x $5.

Grand total being divided among us all : $449.28

I did divide the amount of the chairs/umbrellas by 37. Two extra people because two posters are in both groups for their vacation. So they are paying twice.

The amount PER PERSON is $12.15 (includes everything even tip).
Those two people who are in two groups will owe double that ($24.30 each).

If everyone is agreeable to this, then I have to PM everyone with my address. That's going to take some time. I wasn't even thinking of that. :rotfl:


So please look for PM's. I'll need everyone to send me the amount listed before I can place the order please. So please check your PM boxes and make sure they are not full.
