Laurie...Lets Go Mets! What a game tonight. I'll be thinking of you Saturday and if we get to NC in time I will be watching (luckily its on Fox)

Last night Emily decided 2am was a good time to wake up (she stayed up until 6am then only went to sleep for 1 1/2 hours). Then I was up to midnight tonight working on PTA stuff (luckily the Mets game went to extra innings so I had something to watch). I then went online to check if Southwest had opened their schedule yet but no such luck, I guess I'll have to get up early. My packing is 1/2 done but I have the morning to finish up everything and get the house in order. We are leaving at 2pm tomorrow. I'm exhausted now and heading to bed.

Veronica - I feel asleep during the 9th - didn't realize how LONG it went on till I checked the score online this morning! WOW - isn't that 2 extra inning games already? I hope they do that well in Philly this weekend...

I'll be glad when they've arrived too, it hasn't been too bad without them, though I'll be pleased to see the back of that pile of washing at the top of the stairs

I've got a very busy day ahead of me. This morning I'll be grocery shopping, then having a big clean up around the house. Kerry and her friends will be here for lunch, then I'll take them back to college. My appliances are due to be delivered between 1.30pm and 5.30pm, and in between my friend is coming round for a coffee and a natter

I've had my weigh-in, and I'm pleased that I have stayed the same, as up until yesterday I had put on 1 lb (I think my busy day yesterday shifted that for me )

I'll be on and off a bit later - hope all is well w/everyone! I am worrying about my twin again - she sent me an IM last night, disappeared, and didn't come back on after the SHOCKING episode of Survivor!! ARE YOU OUT THERE TWIN???

We ended up not only in the Dr.s office but 4.5 hours later in the ER... Em is not handling the fever well. Our Ped released her but has told us if she get's weird again she is going to admit her. So we are alternating tyleonol and motrin every 4 hours and trying to keep her sugar up. Our goal is to keep her hydrated and out of the hospital.

I'm relieved that I STS too, I really thought I hadn't lost that 1lb I put on this week

Well I got up early and Southwest still hasn't released the new dates. I guess Laurie and I will be waiting a little longer

Laurie - We will be coming home on Sunday the 27th. I'll wave to you as I pass The trip is too long for any stops but we are planning a trip to Philly soon and we will have to plan a visit (and a Mets game). Have a great time at the game! Hopefully Southwest will release their new dates soon for us -its driving me crazy waiting

Southwest just released their fall flights. They are offering 15% off round trip, but when I put in our August date it says it't not eligible. The flights back are quite a bit more than we expected, but we'll book them now and just hope for a credit.

My flights are finally booked for August! I was checking all morning and finally at 11:30am I was able to get them. They were about $10 higher each way than I wanted but with the price of gas lately I'm not surprised. At this point I'm happy to have them and I can just wait to see if they offer a DING fare for the dates (unlikely). I happy to say my trip is all booked now

Now off to finish packing. I'm supposed to leave in an hour and still lots to do!

That was NO fun - waiting all day for the appliances!!! We actually had service scheduled for our AC unit (just a clean up of the unit and prep for the season) - they were supposed to come between 1 and 4, and called around 11:45 to ask if it was ok to come EARLY! WOO HOO! So, that's done! And of course, he thinks we should replace our unit The guy we had last year said the same thing.. I don't really want to spend $8000 on a new AC unit, I'd rather go on vacation!!! LOL

We've got a busy weekend planned between opening day of baseball and my sister coming for a visit. At least the weather was great today and should be just as good tomorrow. To think I was sitting under a fleece blanket wearing my heaviest ski jacket and gloves at Brennan's scrimmage 4 days ago.

Ok Ladies - Another SLOW night here - What's up w/that?????

Haven't heard from Suzanne, Sandra, Diane, Kathy AT ALL in a while - where are you guys?

Anyway - I just checked my voicemail on my cell (It's 10:10 now) - and Veronica called a couple of hours ago to say "hi" as she passed my exit - and to find out what station the Mets/Phillies game would be on down here! LOL I missed her call, but, she said they hit a bit of traffic, and it's been a long trip already, so, she won't post tonight - but, she'll pop in over the weekend! I didn't want to call her back, figuring she might have made it to DC by now - probably trying to get the kids in bed and organized!! Well, at least the METS won tonight - we head out to the stadium tomorrow afternoon for Game 2 in the series.. keeping my fingers crossed!!

I just put in a load of clothes , while I await their trip into the dryer - I am watching "That Thing You Do" (one of my favorite movies) and playing POGO games, being no one is around!!

Have a great weekend! We'll be busy tomorrow, but, I should be around on Sunday!

This afternoon we're taking the girls and a couple of their friends to a place called Wolverhampton (about 45 mins away) as they're going to a Simple Plan concert tonight, and as one of the friends parents is picking them up, me and Paul will get a night out, which will hopefully include a nice meal out

Well, you'll be on at 3 and I'll be GONE - we have Ant's bball pics at 11:30, Carm gets home around 12:30, we'll have lunch, and off to the Ballpark for Mets/Phillies game - (which starts at 4) - so, I won't be on when you are here! Then we are going out to dinner w/some friends and their family (our buds from up north that we usually visit on CCD days, we are all going to the game together and FOOD) We'll miss each other for a WHOLE day!

Sounds like you have another busy day ahead! I HATE curtain shopping though, that's the worst!! But, the night out sounds great!! Where do you think you might be heading for dinner?

I am excited that our flight is finally booked, and it is late enough to do my breakfast!! Being we are only doing the park one day this WHOLE year - I have to make the best of it, and see all the characters that I can! LOL
