Sorry for the long novel. I am going to be quite busy over the next few days with trying to get ahead with work I need to have done and with baseball games so if you don't hear from me, I'll be back late on the 29th and check in the next day. If anyone can think of anything they'd like before our cruise from WDW please PM me and I'll try and get it.

Mandy, sorry i had rush off on you before i had to drive over to farmingdale to get my parents since their car broke down. The tow truck guy doesn't take them with the car which i thought was weird.How did things work out with your car?

Laurie, Had to rush out on you too... We have to get our calendars out this month and work out a date to get together. Jeff was in bed when i got home so i have no idea if the fil stopped over or not tonight. I was tempted to wake him to find out but i didn't .I will just have to wait until tomorrow...ugh.

I am trying to catch up over the last few days posts...

Jen, I'm glad to hear Em's feeling better. It's very scary to go through episodes like that. Keegan's doing great right now, thanks. He still can't run long distances until his next CT scan but is doing everything else including baseball games and not having pain.

Michele, I'm sorry about all of the stress your in laws are putting you through about your house.

Sounds like everyone else had a great weekend and fun on their trips.

I hope the Mets won for Laurie and Veronica.

We were in the mid-80's here on Saturday for the opening day of baseball. It was nice not to be in jackets on opening day for the first time in several years. I sprayed myself good with sunscreen but forgot the V in my v neck t-shirt so I've got a lovely sunburned chest. It poured all day long yesterday with several thunder storms and it's still very overcast today and we're expecting more rain. Of course now the grass I cut twice last week is in need of a good cut again.

My sister came down for a visit on Saturday which was nice. She didn't bring her dog this time so it was extra pleasant having her here.

Yesterday we went to church and then spent a good couple of hours clearing out the outgrown clothes in Keegan's closet. I can't believe he had accumulated so many shirts in the last couple of years. He has a walk in closet that's about 5 X 6 feet and I usually just put stuff in there and leave. We were having a hard time fitting hangers in there and made him go through them with us to take out the outgrown ones. We filled up two 36 gallon rubbermaid buckets to take to sell at our yard sale/donate. Seems like everything I save for Brennan takes years and years for him to grow into or are out of style by then. He also has different tastes in clothes than Keegan, so I'm just going to get rid of them. Our goal this summer is to get rid of all the buckets of outgrown clothes and boxes of God knows what in the basement. I am going to try and clean out Brennan's closet today. I donated alot last year, but need to go through my closet again. I seem to always wear my favorite shirts and I'm trying hard to get rid of what we don't use. We also want to tackle the garage this summer. The rest of the house is pefectly tidy. I just never seem to get the time to go through everything.

I did manage to get our carry on size suitcases packed for our trip. I'm really proud of myself for fitting 5 days worth of clothes, pjs and swim suits in each. I'm usually a big overpacker and wait until the last minute to pack. The boys have bowling today/tomorrow and have baseball games every single night of this week. Luckily they aren't the same days/times like it was on Saturday. It was hard going back and forth (Derek and I traded) to the different fields since they are a mile away and parking's a nightmare.

Keegan's practice yesterday was cancelled due to the rain and he had a group of 7 boys over in the afternoon so that kept me busy supervising them and getting them snacks/drinks. We went out to dinner at the Olive Garden in Maryland. I wish we'd get one up here. We live just over the MD line and there's a lot of restaurants about 20 minutes from here we like to go to.

I noticed our flights we booked the other day for 9/1 have gone up $20 already. I'm still hopeful for a ding rate.

Well the week has begun! I started the day with and 8 am mtg school all day and ended with a faculty mtg..Then it was dinner, HW for Sarah, a bike ride w/ Sarah, rdg hw, bed.. By 8 I was falling asleep on the couch.. Such an exciting life I live!

Sandy ~ You are busy, busy, busy! I see more trips in your future! I am in the process of booking that river boat cruise in the Netherlands.. I am excited for that commission!

Hello everyone!

Sorry I haven't been able to keep up. I will apologize in advance for not responding to posts but I only have a few minutes of computer time (Tom and I are sharing) and I'm very tired. Today we went to Biltmore House in Asheville. It was beautiful! The gardens and house were unbelievable. The kids had fun at the farm and Tom even got to enjoy himself a bit at the winery. I will post some pics below. It was a really wonderful day. Tonight unfortunately we got a call from my brother to say that my niece's husband (the one that lives in Miami and just had the baby) most likely has cancer. We have been really down since then. We are waiting to hear more.

Tomorrow we are heading to a mine so Bryan can search for gems. We are going to try to make the best of the rest of the vacation despite the worry. I will try to check in again tomorrow night. Hope all of you are doing well.

No, I didn't kill them - I wanted to!!!! When they get along, they are great, but when they don't - WATCH OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They were horrible last night!!!

So, I didn't watch the Kitchen show - I went to bed, and found out that there was a Little House special on - it was the one where they blew up the town - WOO HOO - well, not WOO HOO that they blew the place up, but, it was a good one! LOL

I emailed Laurie and let her know that one of Em's big tests - The Chormosomal Array had come back from Denver showing no additions and no deletions in her chromosomes. It knocks about 60 disorders way down on the possibility list! Thank goodness..
