Well I've just done some more handwashing, I hope my new one comes soon, cos this is driving me mad

Well Sandy, you're not going to believe this. I put the oven on earlier to get the girls dinner sorted, and I noticed a light in it that I've never noticed before. I open the oven door, to see sparks flying out the back of it. So it looks like we're going to be living on microwave food for a few days too

He was so good today he left me to sleep in and he got the kids ready for school and dropped them off.

His friend matt stayed last night till 9:30 as expected...But he bribed the family with carvel before i left for work..lol

Danielle - I am going to High Point, NC (I grew up there - its mostly famous for furniture) to visit my mom then we are going to the mountains to Asheville and Biltmore house. I love the outerbanks (I'm a beach person) but I am making my mom and MIL happy with a trip to the flower festival at Biltmore.

Sorry if I missed anyone. I was excited about weigh in today because I stayed exactly the same and with all the snacking I've done I'm very happy. Tonight Tom and I are going to a Mets game so I have another grown up evening. I would be more excited if the temperature wasn't supposed to be in the 40's at game time. I guess it will be hot chocolate and the winter coat for me tonight.

Morning Bahama Mamas

It's a cold misty morning here. I've got a good day today. I don't need to go to my mums and I'm going to see my friend Natalie, who I met through the DIS, so no doubt we'll be chatting about Disney all morning, and I'll be telling her all about you lot too

I think Paul is coming home at lunch time and we'll go and order a new washer and cooker, and then hopefully I'll have a nice quiet afternoon

I had a lovely time at my friends this morning. We talked about holidays all morning, and I was telling her about the lovely girls that I'm meeting in August on the Disney Wonder

She's lots of fun, and we're arranging a shopping day for next month - woohoo !!

Paul came home at lunchtime and we went down to our local electrical store and I ordered a new washer and cooker - nothing fancy (Laurie I don't dream about washers and stoves ), they were just what the credit card could cope with . Anyway they're arriving on Friday, so just a couple more days of handwashing

That will be a nice trip. I lived in Camp Lejeune from 1974-79 and we really loved it. I was little, but still remember our house, neighborhood, the base and the beach. When I was in college, my brother was in the Marines and stationed at Cherry Point and we often visited him (my rooommate/now SIL was dating him). It's really a gorgeous state. If Derek and I don't retire to Florida, we'd defintely pick NC. Enjoy yourselves and have a safe drive down!

I am already at my mom's. A little issue w/ my Granny this afternoon so I had to leave quickly to come help mom. I'll check in tomorrow.

Tom and I had a great time last night at the game. It was very chilly and I was frozen by the time it was over. Since the stadium was fairly empty we upgraded our tickets and got really great seats. Today I am getting the car ready for the trip (I'm crazy but I love to have it clean and vacuumed before a road trip) and doing some packing. Then my BIL and nieces are coming over for dinner tonight. Hope everyone is enjoying their day!

I always seem to have laundry going all day and night - you haven't had a washer all week, and you'll probably be done before me!! It's probably all the handswashing you've been doing!
