2006 Vacations

Hi Blondie You're right about the Bahamas being inexpensive! I booked my trip last June, got a great deal on an all-inclusive for april vacation week

4 day Disney cruise on the Wonder 12/3-7, then 2-3 days in the parks afterwards. I haven't ever been to Disney during the holidays so I am soooo excited about that! Also- we are going with my siblings, parents, in-laws and hubby's sibling. Can't wait!

January 7-17th...WDW here we come!

Spring break (and all the school breaks to follow) will take us out to my parents' new home in West Texas.

We're planning another long weekend in San Antonio before DD goes back to school in August.

If we're disciplined with the budget, I'd love to find a quickie trip to WDW again before the year is out. I don't think I can wait until our next scheduled trip in December 2007.

A weekend away to a resort in PA in late February.

Hilton head the last week of April

*Maybe* a girls weekend to New Orleans in June

so neat to see where everyone is going!

We do lots of weekend trips and we live at the beach so to me even going there for the day is a "vacation"!

But we do have planned....
March - Disney weekend
May - Disney 5 days
July/August - Sanibel Island 4 days
October - Disney 5 days
December - Disney 2 days and Disney 7 night cruise



We'll also be heading to Houston sometime...I think for rodeo maybe!

Well, we'd love to go on a cruise (non-Disney) but most likely we will go nowhere. We've got some debt to pay down first. We may got to WDW for 3 or 4 nights since we have 3 days left on our passes from our honeymoon, but that won't be until fall of '06, if it happens at all. We'll spend our time off at home working on rehabing the house, mostly.

I was in the midst of planning a trip to DW for Aug. as a Christmas gift to the kids, but my father passed away suddenly, so I've put that on the back burner for now. I'm thinking about trying to see if I can convince my mother to go on a cross country trip. I'd like to stop in Texas to see my uncle (her brother), then go to New Mexico and spend some time where she grew up and met my father. From there we would head to California to visit her other brother, then to Washington to see her sister. I'm not sure she'll go for it though.

If all goes well, we are going to Israel in July for 2 weeks. This will be my 2nd visit (the first was in 1985) and the first visit for DW and DD.

Then we'll take our usual WDW trip in November.

Well...here are the definites so far;

February- Poconos with DH, DS8, and DD6
April-Washignton DC Long weekend away with DH
April 30-may 7 wilderness Lodge Villas in WDW with DH, DS, and DD
August- Anniversary weekend to NYC with DH

Still have to come up with somethign for the FALL!!!!!
