We will be back for one day in February. We have tickets from 2006 that contain I think,at least one day. I guess I know I cant find out til we get there how many days are left== is there anywhere in the World to get that information except guest services outside the turnstyle (but inside park gates and have to pay to park?)??

Also since they are so old I cant link them to my Dis account to get FP+ beforehand. This is very annoying and throws a real monkey wrench into things...seemingly if I understand it right = the only way I can get FP+ is once iwere inside the park = day of...

Would like to do MK since its changed so much ,but sounds like we might get shut out of FP for the more headliner rides.

Anyone able to shed light on any of that? thanks!

If you send an email to guest relations about your old tickets they can help. I had 4 tickets from a trip back in 2003 I was informed to send a copy of my drivers license, and copy of front and back of the tickets I had in hand. I found out that I have 4 day park hopper tickets along with 4 day tickets to any water park, this is such a high savings for me. Let me know if this info helps

I was able to add my park hoppers purchased in 2005 to my MDE account. I had to call and get tech support assistance to do it but they were able to confirm I had 3 days left plus 10 pluses left on each ticket. It took about 20 minutes for Disney to get the old tickets set up on my account.

I could not link them because they are from 2003 was informed to hit guest relations and they would convert them at that time.

I was told the same thing, but when I called back a second time, a very nice CM figured out how to load them onto MDE.

We loaded some old 2004 Hopper Plus with just the plus options left. They do not show up on my DME on the computer but does show up on my phone ap:confused3

DD are excited to be going a time of year warm enoguth to hit the waterparks

Im going to try and call again. I have to say the guy that I talked to was a big um,, well lets just say he was the least helpful phone Dis person Ive ever talked to.

ok I called and the first guy said it could be done and transferred me to tech help who said it cant be done and email ticket usage department...Ill do that and call tech help again in a little while. can the person who had it done successfully provide more information on what you/ they said and did? thanks!

I have tickets left from 2007 that I just did this with. The previous poster was correct. All I had to do was email a copy of the tickets and a copy of my drivers license. They responded within a week with my remaining number of days. Also, using the # on the back of the ticket I was able to link the tickets to my account and reserve FP+ for all of us. I was a little worried at first since this will be our first time with FP+ but so far I have had no problems reserving them. We'll see how it goes once we actually get there.

Ive been on with them for about 20 minutes, she is very nice but grilling me on last usage, when they were actually purchased, which might have originated with 2002 non expiring, credit card used in 2006, like I can remember!! I also emailed both sides to ticket usage email,

hopefully this phone call will work tho

I had heard all the horror stories of unhelpful customer service, but it was a pretty easy task for me.

I was transferred to tech support with no hassles. They asked where I purchased the tickets and had me read the numbers on the back of the tickets. It took 20 minutes but they attached the tickets to my MDE account and confirmed I had 3 days and 10 Plusses left on my hoppers.

They were more surprised I could tell the letter "O" from the number "0" when I read the information on the back of the tickets. I even took the survey to rate my customer service experience. I had no complaints.

I spent a very long time on the phone and they finally wouldnt do it. It sounded more like I couldnt provide them with enough information to 'prove' they were my tickets, than the fact that it was technically not possible to do it. It was kind of irritating, as I had to try to figure out the last time I used mine, which was possibly a one day visit with my Dad one January before he died.

I was disappointed they took all the ticket numbers and were seemingly able to do it, but then wouldnt cause I couldnt give them enough information from more than 8 years ago.

I ended up emailing the copies and will see what they come up with.

I'm sorry.

We did have that information. And yes, they asked for it. In fact, I had the receipt for the resort stay. (Yes, I know. But I keep everything from Disney.)

You understand why, right? It's security. Tickets can't be resold or transferred, but that doesn't stop some people from trying. Just look at eBay or craigslist.

So after emailing them the 2 sides of both tickets a super nice Kelly called me today and told me all about the tickets, 10 day non expiring, gave the dates and parks they were last used at, it was great. She was not able to link them and gave me a phone number to call 407 939 4357, which I pressed 3 for tech support.
The guy was also extremely nice, took the ticket numbers, asked when I last used them (boy was I glad I got that from Kelly), and then had to put me on hold while he contacted the super secret how to do it when all else fails team. They then were able to link them to my account. He said because they were pre 2007 the id number doesnt connect in the system and they have to find the 'modern number' that is associated with them. Once they got that it worked, yay!
Now to try for some fp

successfully got into the fp area.

Tried for 7dmt, sm and laugh floor. The first one they gave was for 430. The last one was 9pm.

this new system is a joke, having to try and reserve so far out.

Im sure we wont use those times. Will just have to try stand by. I

How do you keep checking for earlier times? You have to cancel your own then re try to make them again? Or you can do it in the 'change' part?

Just take whatever they give you in those 3 options first. Then go to the FP+ screen again and select Update. From there, it will show you all the times available, not just its "best guess" at what will work for you.
It doesn't cancel what you have until you confirm the new time, so just back out before you make any actual changes :)
