Congrats to Dawn on her acceptance to Duke and FL! And congrats to her proud parents too!

A big ALOHA to Mark and Mary as you head off to Hawaii. Have a great time! Ken and I went there on our honeymoon, and would like to go back someday. While we didn't see a streaker on the beach, we did see a guy in Speedos that looked like Tarzan! Have a safe trip and we expect to see a picture or two when you get back!

I'm very excited about this whole thing!!! But I can't believe that I have to wait 4-5 years to get on the new ships!!! So, when's our next trip planned?????

Good morning everyone! We are very excited about the new ships and hope to sail to Alaska on DCL!

Thanks for the good wishes for Hawaii! Got everything finished at work yesterday, had our usual dinner out and now we are ready to go. In-laws will be here within an hour to take us to the airport.

I think the flight is 10 hours long so send some good thoughts our way for that. The time difference is 4 hours. When we land this afternoon at 2:30 Hawaii time it will be 6:30 here. The bad one is the way back when we leave at 5:50 in the afternoon and get home at 5:50 the next morning!

We'll have the notebook so I'm sure we'll check in once or twice.

Steve - great pictures - maybe I could do a cruise to Alaska - I'm a warm weather person but that just might work in the summertime.

Mary and Mark - have a great time in Hawaii - I know you will!

New vacation plans a brewing - guess what I'm doing in May - I'm cruising on 2 different ships!!!
I'll be on the Wonder on May 6th - 10th with my son and his wife and then 2 days later I'll be getting on the Magic with Karen, my cruise buddy and taking it over the Atlantic - can't believe I'm doing this but I am!
Nervous but excited at the same time.

Have fun! I have been checking air from Indianapolis to Maui for my MIL to join us in August. Wow! Expensive, flight times are not great and most of the flights have two connections. MIL's ticket will cost about the same as two of ours. I was surprised to only see red eye flights leaving Hawaii going back to Indianapolis. Have fun and report back with your activities. Let us know how the FREE accommidations were.

Morning all. Two sick kids home today - it's going to be a long weekend. This school year they have almost missed as much school as they have attended. How sad is that. They just keep bringing it home and bringing it home again.
