Hey, Stacy? Know that bit of video that Curt told you he had found? What's it worth to you to keep that underwraps? Maybe a trip to Chicago in early December? If not, I'm sure that DCL would love to use it in their next promotional DVD...![]()
Don't they say use what works??? So, does blackmail work for you???Stitch#1 said:Wow are you guys that desperate to get me to Chicago you would resort to BLACKMAIL!!!????

Diana Lyn said:I got mine today, so you should get yours very soon. I've never used anything like that because--and this is dumb--we don't have an outlet in our downstairs bathroom. The people who built the house were morons apparently. The lightswitch is even on the outside of the room.So where am I going to plug this sucker in? We do have 2 other bathrooms, but this is the bathroom that I brush my teeth in.
Diana Lyn said:Seriously, no one else on this thread is a BzzAgent?? I learned about it here on the DIS Budget Board. I got a Sonicare toothbrush to try in the mail today. I looked online at the price $89.99.![]()

cgcw said:Hey, do you have a Campanelli home? The builder who built our homes in this area was from the East Coast and that was a building code out there to not have any electrical outlets in the bathrooms and the switches have to be on the outside. We've since had ours changed but isn't that the weirdest thing? I remember people coming over and trying to use the bathroom and not being able to figure out how to turn on the light.
I just signed up for the BzzAgent. I'll give it a try! Thanks.
socks68 said:Delurking again: I am. I didn't get in on the coffee but am waiting for the toothbrush. I have the nicorette gum sitting at work but no one will try it.
We had a great time on the cruise. I didn't spend much time with you betwen the people I was travelling with and spraining my ankle within hours of getting on the ship. But it was nice to run into some of you so often.
Diana Lyn said:No clue who built the house, but I think it's the dumbest thing in the world.
diana lyn said:A couple of Bzz Agent tips--fill out as many surveys as they give you, go through the Boot Camp thing and 101 that they suggest. That's what makes you eligible to get invited to a campaign or blast. Also, don't rely on them to email you to join the campaigns. Usually by the time you get the email, the campaign is full. So I check mine just about every day in the early afternoon to see what's there for me.
What part of Indiana do they live in? I am in the southwest.sanddune said:Mary J ,I could meet you sometime when I go to Mom's.Mom and Dad live in Indiana.I try to go down once every other month.![]()
cgcw said:You talked to Stacy at 6 a.m.?? And, I was leary to call you the night you dropped out of chat and we thought you were laying on your keyboard for fear of waking up your household?? Gary thought he caught you off guard Saturday night -- and that was early!!
That's it, next time I'm calling.![]()
Looks like we have another budding scrapbooker on our hands! Nice work, Walker!!cgcw said:Walker & I just finished up his PTA Sponsored project. This years theme was "My Favorite Place" and our goal was to do this based on the cruise and Walker's pictures. Most of his pictures from the cruise didn't turn out so well, so we still went with that theme, just a little different angle to it. We took all the pictures Walker took by himself and then he sorted through and decided which ones he wanted to use. The size requirement was predetermined as well as the exclusion of any copy written material or characters (no tick-toc from the Club. much to Walker's disappointment). Per the rules, Walker did most of the work himself. Here's how it turned out:

cgcw said:Do you have 8" walls? That's another quirk in our home. Nothing is standard. Our walls are just 1-2" short of being 8". It really makes things difficult when you want to change a door here or there.
tinkerbelle77 said:Its one of the greatest things I've ever used...I got mine last year at the Chicago Dental Society Midwinter meeting for free when they were just introducing them to the market. I love it!!! My only wish is that they offer better toothpaste to fill them. I would like one of the Crest flavored pastes, but all they offer is the gel or the whitening one. BTW...I took it on vacation for 2 weeks with no charger and it worked fine the whole trip and a few days after. It packs up really good in the travel case!!! I recommend it to most of our patients with gum problems...and most come back after using it and have less problems.
Diana Lyn said:I'm not a carpenter, I have no clue!I do know that when we replaced the front door this year it had to be special ordered because the sizing was way off.
How can I find out who built the house? My house does look a lot like yours. Do you have gold speckled countertop? Because that's my favorite feature of this house. We've replaced all the wacky stuff around here except the pepto bismol pink tile walls in the bathroom and the gold speckled counters. The pink sink in the kitchen was the first thing to go. Followed by the turquoise sink and toilet in the upstairs bath.![]()
Ooohhh, that sounds like our house. We have you beat, I think. We had pepto-bismal carpet through the entire house. Thankfully that went VERY quickly to a nice beige. And then, what we thought were ivory countertops turned out to be PINK countertops that they had painted (not very well, either), and it was chipping off within the first few days. For several years, I had ivory countertops with varying sizes of pink speckles from the paint chipping off. However, this past year, we were able to put in new countertops.Diana Lyn said:I'm not a carpenter, I have no clue!I do know that when we replaced the front door this year it had to be special ordered because the sizing was way off.

As for tickets, we've never been to Cedar Point. Is the park do-able in one day?
