I don't often use the knowledge of when to shut up and go with the flow - - but this strikes me as one of those times....
Heck I'll even sleep on the sofabed and the "girls" (granted the have a collective age of something like 114) can have a slumber party.

Honestly Mary is one of the tweens that was hanging with Cameron and Deanna on the cruise. Ryan is Chris' son and Emily is his girlfriend from school. Got that!

Btw - Annmarie is married to Tom and Ann Marie is married to Tom. OK?

Just to add more to your confusion - Deanna likes a boy from her school - Les (his real name is Lester, but that name just makes me crack up when I hear it ). By the way, as Ann Marie (who's married to Tom) found out, Les has a broken arm and no Deanna didn't break it for him

I missed this one -- actually I forgot to respond.

Mary is a daughter of someone on the DIS who hung around with Deanna and Cameron on the cruise. I don't think Cameron likes Mary, as he denies it, but Deanna seems to think so.

Gosh, these relationships are getting a little complicated.

This Mom is glad that there is some distance between all the kids. As well as they get along, I'm not ready to go "there" yet.

Cedar Point - ok final decision will be Mark's.

I can't deprive him of seeing his smoothie son and it will be great if I have some non coaster friends to hang with like Karen. So maybe we will go (sorry Amy). Like I said final decision will be his.

The cottages look cute.

Here is the big question. Would we be able to book as a group? It seems like there would be some discounts that way and maybe we could get rooms/cabins/cottages right near each other. Anyone have any experience in this or wants to take it on?

If it is a go is the plan to get there on Friday the 13th and leave on Sunday the 15th having one full day in the park?

That was a wonderful display - wish I could do that to my house.

Seriously, I've been in bed all day really knocked for a loop - first no voice yesterday and today no energy whatsoever. Woke up around 5 pm and I am finally starting to feel like myself again but still no voice.

I would really like to get working on my Christmas decorating so I can start packing in 2 weeks. So with the new roof on the house and the new front porch we decided to add at the last minute, now I have to wait for new gutters to hang my lights on. Hope this all happens soon so I can get a move on.

Sorry but I will miss the Chicago meet - I'll be in "my happy place" !

Heading back to my pillow and taking some Nyquil so I can get some more rest and get up and do something tomorrow.

Cedar Point has group booking. If you want the cottages you will have to book them as soon as 07 comes out! The cottages go Fast! Since ,that's what I do for a living . I could look into it......

Sandy, Don't you live in NY state? I was in NY state visiting friends who just moved there. They live in Chester so I travelled up Route 17 to the thruway and back onto Route 17 in NY state (for those who don't live there, I know it sounds confusing and really is when you're trying to follow directions). The drive was a little over an hour because of construction on 17 in NJ by Sharp Plaza. We'll have to get together the next time I'm up. BTW, when is that NY meet I saw someone post about?

Tina and I showing up on the boards is purely coincidental as Cindy has already posted. I had my catch-up post written on a post-it note last night but was too tired/lazy to type it in and waited until today.

Hey, stop stealing away my last DIS friend that's going to be in Chicago that weekend!!!

In all seriousness, I will miss you guys, if you're all at Cedar Point, and I'm in Chicago that weekend. But, it is what it is!!! Why does it always happen that 2 things that you would love to do are happening at the same time??? It was like that on the cruise a few times too.

We will be here this weekend...We are going to Oklahoma City the next week and cant take this weekend off to go to cedar point. So we will be home!

he and the kids go every year and they beg me to go. no point in me paying $$$ to go if i don't ride the rides they do....
