OK I was joking about the soap opera schtick - now I'm confused. Cameron likes Mary and Ryan likes Emily... WhoTH are MARY and EMILY?!?!?!? [mumbling to myself as I eat my favorite red jello]

Just to add more to your confusion - Deanna likes a boy from her school - Les (his real name is Lester, but that name just makes me crack up when I hear it ). By the way, as Ann Marie (who's married to Tom) found out, Les has a broken arm and no Deanna didn't break it for him

Hi all! I'm back from NJ and it was a great trip except the flights both in and out being delayed 3+ hours each. I was able to fly stand-by on the flight right before mine but we still left an hour after my original flight. Flying home I wasn't as lucky and had to wait an extra 3 hours. Casey was my shadow while home as she usually is since I moved and NYC was fantastic on Thursday both shopping and weather wise. The rest of the weekend was spent visiting friends and family.

Now, to catching up on the thread about 35 pages:

Congratulations Matt and Julie!!! It's great that you could share your special day with some DIS friends. The pictures everyone has posted are awesome and Julie, you were a beautiful bride.

Erin - Sorry to hear about your robbery. That happened to my family in NJ about 10 years ago. It's a terrible, unfortunate situation to deal with, but at least noone in your family was hurt. The toughest part are the emotional scars and family heirlooms lost.

This soap opera talk has been interesting but like most soap operas hard to follow. Which Ann Marie is which?

Casey is upset she missed the cruise and MI meet. The romance talk has been interesting to her. since she has her own DIS ID and reads the boards, I can't post more about her love interests.

Mary - 'Tween' is a very bad word around Casey. I use it as much as possible and she gets mad at me every time. I can only use it until May 11 since she turns the unlucky 13 that day and has reminded me of this every time I has said 'tween' or 'tweener'.

We're flying in on Friday, December 1st to spend the weekend with my brother, sister-in-law and nephew and my best friend from High School and her family. Then, of course, I couldn't pass up a chance to visit my DIS friends too. And, then Gail decided to come too and then everyone met it MI this weekend and I guess a few have decided to come to Chicago too. YIPPEE for us!!!

Anyway, we're staying at the Doubletree Hotel in Rosemont (I think that's on River Road) on Friday and Saturday night. I'll be spending most of Friday with my family. We're going to go to the big craft fair at the convention center in Rosemont. Then, Saturday is my DIS day. I think that we're going to lunch and then possibly heading downtown for shopping and seeing the holiday lights and decorations on State St and along Michigan Ave.

On Sunday, our plan is to have breakfast and then we're going to my nephew's 1st birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese's (fun, fun, fun)!!!

Amy, This sounds like a fun weekend!!1 And I happen to have Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off work because my birthday is on Saturday, Tim and I have plans to go see Blue man group on Friday evening, and then after that we have dinner with the family on Saturday for my birthday, otherwise the weekend is pretty free for us! So we would love to get together with all of you! Cant wait!

Back from Detroit! I walked into our house and my back door was broken. Now we are having the police "dust" the home. They did not take any electronics except our video camera. They took Nicks money box and my jewelry box. and they ransacked our bedroom. -- There was another home kind of behind us that was broken into last night as well and they have a 100+ pound dog. UGGH. Luckily I do not have much REAL jewelry - as I am not a girly girl. Mostly it was jewelry from growing up that my parents and grand parents gave me and a few items that were from our grandparents.

Just last week I put on my mental to do list to go through the house and write everything down. GUess I am too late. They did not take any computer stuff and we have a lot. My laptop was on the sofa.

On a happier note, WE really enjoyed our evening with everyone. I will try and post later and maybe catch everyone in chat.

Erin...I'm so sorry to hear this!!! Its the worst feeling to come home and know that someone was in your house going through your things...When I was married, our house was broken into, and I just hated the feeling I had after that! Hopefully they find they person responsible!
