Speaking of digital scrapbooking - someone asked pages and pages ago what I used. Most of what I did was in Microsoft Picture It!

How does "digital" scrapbooking work? Do you print out the pages or just view them as a slideshow?

Okay, so I'm 21 pages behind (that's what going to work does to you) but I had to share my exciting news!! I won the trivia contest on the MouseTunes podcast!! The question was NOT Disney related, but I still was shocked to hear my name announced as I was listening to the podcast in the car this morning! My prize is a WDW Trivia book!

:cheer2: YIPPEE!!!:cheer2:

What time is everyone getting to the port?
The port opens at 10am, so we're hoping to be there pretty early. Besides, Mary will have entrusted me with the DISmeet sign for the port!!!

I think I'll be at there around 8:30-9:00 AM ish.

Part of the earling morning parking lot party.
( don't ask me why I am going so early - husband is driving. )
Wow Cheryl - that is WAY early!! I can see being there around 9:30, but I think that 8:30 will just be a lot of waiting around.

Did anyone else get an e-mail from their guide with helpful hints for their upcoming visit?

Pretty cool that even included a link to click on and take a virtual tour of where we are staying.

This is the first time I've gotten this.
yeah, I got it today too. It's pretty cool!!!

Ok I'm finally caught up, of couse I will be 10 or 15 posts down once this hits the server but oh well,

I want to admonish all those bratty chatties that a certain amount of restraint is in order here. There appears to be a sporting event on tonight that brings some cause for attention. So this household will be in dispose for the next several hours.

GO

If I've missed this topic in all the clutter here - sorry but what does everyone think about tipping on our Members Cruise when we have brunch or dinner at Palo's? If tips are included in the points / price we paid for this special cruise, does that mean DVC / DCL has already provided appropriate tip income to the Palo waiters and servers? Or does the "tips included" only apply to the Main Dining room staff?

Mike S.
My understanding is that tips are ONLY for the main dining room staff and your room attendant.

With digital scrapbooking all of the page is done on the screen. The background, pictures, titles, journaling, etc. are all done and printed out at once. As opposed to traditional scrapbooking where you buy the papers and all embellishments and then put the pictures with them.

I had a scrapbooking page up once upon a time. I'll see if I can find it again.

Found them!

That's the same album I have that I'm using for the CJ too! :lmao:

Ok that will probably be three of us. I was thinking about using that album unless I find something cuter.

:surfweb: Good morning everyone,

As we begin our (seemingly) never ending odyssey towards the decks of the Disney Wonder and SSMC06 we come one day closer to our goal. To reach this goal we endeavor ourselves to fill the day with the ranting, ravings, (in some cases outright droolings for the poor employees of FedEx and Hooters). We will extol well our talents for scrap booking, our seemingly endless knowledge of cinema, and just getting through the trials and tribulations of suburbia. We share our joys and sadly our heartaches, knowing that through this portal there are other wandering tribes of mousekateers who will join together in support and cheer.

BUT WAIT, tribes people (PC) there is soft glow coming from the south east (N28o22’38.24” W81o32’10.75” for the technos, like myself). The glow brightens with each passing day, minute, hour & second (12d/8m/59h/59s) we gravitate towards it like moths to a candle, where our pocket book and wallet burst with childish bliss in the pyre. Our quest to leave reality behind for carrot cake, crème brule, begets and Mickey bars ends soon, why just in the time it taken to read this we are 3 minutes closer.

So I bid you well greetings fellow tribes people and give hopes that your trail today will be less stressful, and that a smile will cross your face and the theme song to It’s a Small World will pass your lips at least once today.

I don't think any of us could have said it more eloquently.
I think I will print this up and keep it at my desk at work.

We did! :thumbsup2

I know not everyone does, and we don't always, but I love when our guide leaves us a voice mail message when we're at one of the resorts with a "welcome home". I really enjoy the personal touch.
We have never had anything like this happen. :sad2:

We've never had our guide leave us a welcome home message either. We have, however, gotten to see her at both Member Homecoming and at the DVC event in downtown Chicago. That was nice.

Wow - another UTOP! Shared with our guide Julie.
