I think that might be to alleviate some of their parking problems???

I agree but when I am paying to stay at thr Boardwalk shouldn't I be allowed to park there?:confused3 If I was staying at another resort I would have no problem showing ID and usually have it out already, but I was surprised to need it where I was staying.

What time is everyone getting to the port?

Our flight gets into MCO at 10:15 am on Sunday. We will head right for the DCL busses but I don't know what time they leave from the airport. We'll be there as soon as we can!

Awww Julie - we were hoping you and Matt would be standing there with big Mickey hands waving good-bye to us as wel pulled away!

:rotfl2: right cause I want to wait in line behind almost 50 CRAZY people that met on the internet ;)

We noticed that we were asked for ID at the Boardwalk in September everytime we used the guard shack. Even with the room placard on the dash. It was annoying when you are sitting with your ID in your back pocket.

I wouldn't have had a problem with producing id. I may not have liked being asked but that's not what frosted me with the situation.

As I told the manager, I would have preferred that she kept her sarcastic "welcome home" to herself. Say nothing instead of doing it begrudingly. :(

What are the welcome bags for?

The wedding on 10/28 - you guys are all part of the "relax before the wedding and our families descend on WDW" cruise :)

Nice try but it didnt work :surfweb:

Squid

Okay, try this:

When the crypt doors creak and the tombstone quake
Spooks come out for a swinging wake
Happy haunts materialize and begin to vocalize
Grim grinning ghosts come out to socialize

Sorry for the interruption....have a picture of a couple of people you all might know. This is from dinner at Palo on the September 11 night cruise:

Ugh!! I'm going to put you on ignore. As I've never used it, does that mean I won't be reminded of this song?

There was someone else who did that on our SSMC05 -- mikem861, I think. Another male from Michigan.

WE HAVE WELCOME BAGS WITH ZIPPERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:cool1:

Finally! That's one less thing to worry about, Julie. See, I told you it would all work out :woohoo:

That Sounds like it will be a POPULAR choice for the CJ. I have the same one already.

SQuid

YUP, we may all wind up with the same one! My ACMoore is out but I was planning on getting it when it came in. I also have a different one in reserve in case it doesn't come in on time.

Did anyone else get an e-mail from their guide with helpful hints for their upcoming visit?

Pretty cool that even included a link to click on and take a virtual tour of where we are staying.

This is the first time I've gotten this.

We did! :thumbsup2

I know not everyone does, and we don't always, but I love when our guide leaves us a voice mail message when we're at one of the resorts with a "welcome home". I really enjoy the personal touch.

I think those of us on the party bus should be getting there about 10 or so.

Well, that helped me make my decision. I'm leaving 9:55am. There is no way I'm getting stuck behind a bus of crazy DISers!

Oh my, no wonder you have been a little stressed over their sending the wrong ones. I remember reading a post about sending ones without zippers, but I didn't know what they were for. Now I know! I hope everything goes smoothly for you from here on out. Hey, it rained today! What more could we ask for?
