Cheryl, if the pain was great enough to send you to the ER, apparently they feel you need some pain medication.
Maybe you should pick up the phone and call your doctor.
It really sounds like it's time to get the ball rolling. I hope you feel better.

Um yeah, the doctors are not mind readers. They need to know the degree of your pain. Call and say you can't deal with it any longer. OR's have room for emergencies and it sounds like at this point that is what you are. It's silly to pump you full of pain killers when you can just have the operation and be done with it. Besides pain is debilitating and you don't want to go into an operation already in a weakened state. I know it's the holiday but health comes first, please take care of yourself and CALL! I do hope you could get some rest at least last night.

Don't mean to be preachy just really care about you!

We made it to see :sulley: :cheer2:

It was quite an experience. First we couldn't get out of our neighborhood due to flooding. Every which way I went, it was way deeper than anyone was attempting to get through. Finally I headed south and went through the back streets and a big puddle and got out onto the main roads. From there, I circled 3 times on the highway --- debating about whether this was a good idea or not. Of course, Walker wanted to go. Then he didn't want to go. Then he wanted to go again. Around and around and around we went.

We finally made it to the arena -- to find that their parking lot was flooding and closed. So, we parked where we could, at a much cheaper price :teeth: and made it into the show shortly after it started.

Walker's beat and already in bed for the night.

I liked the show --- I liked the second 1/2 much better than the first. Maybe I had just relaxed enough to really start to enjoy it. Mickey, Minnie, Donald & Goofy made their appearances as well.

When we sat down, we had seats probably 8 rows from the ice. There was a railing directly in front of us and on the other side of it, a brick divider. I said to Walker, look, it's a monorail. I really thought they had a mini-version of a monorail as part of the show and just couldn't place where that would be in Monsters Inc. So, I'm sitting there, looking at this monorail track and I follow it along to see that people are sitting directly against it around the bend. Now I can't figure out how they are going to make the monorail appear when there are people sitting against the track.

Finally it dawned on me that the Allstate Arena is also home to the Chicago Wolves hockey team. And, the monorail track that I've been staring at isn't really a monorail track, but the outside of their ice rink. I started laughing to myself -- feeling like a total WDW nut in the wrong place. I really, really thought it was the monorail. I'm glad I only told Walker what it was and no one else sitting near us.

Disney on the brain, what more can I say? :rotfl2:
I'm SO glad to hear that you guys were able to go!!! And, I just had to chuckle a little on the monorail mistaken identity!!!

That's when I stopped watching as well. I tried to get back into it but DH is not a fan of medically oriented shows :-(
My new favorite medical show is House! That guy is a nut, but brilliant!!

That's just wrong.

I won't eat at BK anymore either. I used to love the Whopper, but after several bad experiences with it in locations across the country, I decided the quality of product just wasn't what it should be for me to spend my money on it. I haven't set foot/or gone to drive-thru of BK in more than 10 years now.
What's funny is that when we're thinking of grabbing something quick to eat, I never think of BK anymore, and it's actually the one that's closest to me. And, I don't eat at them anywhere. I guess a bad experience is a bad experience, anywhere. For a while, we even called it the F U Burger King.

Well I went to the ER. Long story short after a lot of hours they discharged me.
(They said ER will not do operation unless stone is in bile duct.)
I have 2 prescriptions, 1 for IBU 600 and 1 for oxycodone ( which I don't plan on using thanks to general hospital.)
Ok time to get some zzz's..
Why wouldn't you take the Oxycodone because of GH??? I don't watch soaps anymore, but I certainly wouldn't let dramatic television stop you from being pain-free. Heck, Chris was on it for a week following his back surgery. It did him a world of good, and he's no where near "addicted" to it. When it was gone, it was gone.

I won't eat at Burger King because of a bad experience, but mine wasn't food related. Someone was being funny and wrote F*** You on my Chicken Sandwich wrapper. I wasn't laughing and haven't been back since.

I hope you reported that to the management. I happen to know the company that owns or owned (have to check) that lovely franchise as the main investors and they would not be happy at all to hear about that!

Ian's school just finished their wrapping paper & cookie dough fundraiser. David took the order form to his office for a week and got not one single order! After all the support he's given to fundraisers for everyone else's kids, I'm just so angry that no one found it in them to reciprocate.

Robin that just stinks! I try to support most of the kids fundraisers at the office because I know my parent's sold a lot when we were in scouts etc.

Cheryl--try to get some rest. That oxycodone works really good. That's what they give me when I get kidney stones and I haven't become addicted or tried to sell any on the black market! :rotfl:

EBAY BABY ;) Oh wait, just call Rush L he's prob looking for some. :rotfl2:

Oh yeah, we did! Actually, it was a prank between 2 different employees apparently. The one in the back, wrapped my sandwich in the wrapper that said F*** You. Then, instead of not giving me that sandwich, the person in the front just wrapped another one on top. Well, it wasn't hard for me to unwrap one and see the F*** You on it. We took it back and the guy who wrote it was fired on the spot. But, it's just something that you can't forget.

Hey Cheryl - I think you have some great advice so I'll just say take care of yourself!!!

We sail in how many days?? O M G how will I get it all done :faint: ha ha, actually I think we are well on our way to being good to go with wedding and cruise items.

We did have a snag this week that I was able to correct (and I have no recollection if I already told you guys this so if I did just ignore me, I have bride brain - I'm sure pregnancy brain will be worse!)

Our welcome bags came in - we ordered these awesome zippered tote bags and I was so excited to open the box.. imagine my surprise to find our beautiful bags complete with monogram and date etc that had NO ZIPPER. UGH - so I called, got a wonderful customer service rep who said she'd call me back on Thursday. Thursday pm I called again and left a message and hoped they would call 1st thing on Friday. Friday morning I call again and get a different rep who says "oh yes so and so is working on it but she's not in till noon" I put my best smile on, explained that we leave in 4 weeks and their normal production time is 3 full weeks and as a bride I really could not wait until she came in couldn't someone handle it now. Luckily they did and offered us 2 solutions. 1. Keep the bags we have at 50% off or 2. they would ship us the correct bags and we'd have them by Oct 2/3 with no cost to us. I went with 2 (hello that's the bags we ordered) and now have 48 extra bags - lol oh boy - with our wedding date on them. I guess we need to figure out what we are doing with them. We did have to send 2 to the warehouse as proof which was not a problem for us.

Glad someone was finally willing to move on this for you. I can not imagine getting ready for a wedding and this cruise at the same time.

You did mention that you got the wrong bags, but we hadn't heard how it was getting resolved. I'm SO glad to hear that they are taking care of it!!!!

Everyone have a great day. We are off to a day in the rain for Nick's soccer tourney. I am thinking in between games I can hit Kmart and Walmart for disposable cameras, costumes, hopefully some cheapy floats and 2 new pairs of sunglassed for DH and myself. THen there is Dick's for masks and snorkels.....
