No more tangles -- I remember that!
My sister had "Shirley Temple" curly hair when she was little and I remember my mother going through a bottle of Life Conditioner each time she washed her hair, trying to get all the tangles out. I guess I was lucky my hair was straight as a board. ;)

Finally, I have caught up from going out of town from Friday to Saturday!
In just a few minutes we will be 30 days away from our trip!!! Yeah, I can't wait!
btw
I have a list I use from year to year for packing purposes (note: find the list soon!)
We usually go to Pizza Hut the night before we leave for Fla.
We are on deck 6 because that is where they put us when we called.
We are in Cat 6, because my sisters' friend recommended a verandah if at all possible.
We are staying at OKW before the cruise, it is our favorite DVC resort. We are trying out VWL after the cruise, just to try somplace new!

AND--I would NEVER EVER EVER give my children a doll with scissors and show them how to cut hair!! Whose crazy idea was that?? Hey, let's encourage little kids to do this to a doll, because then they'd get the great idea to do it to themselves--or worse unsuspecting siblings!!
It was probably some MAN that came up with/approving that idea. I'm sure no mother would have given the okay.

My niece decided to cut her hair a few times, the last time just months before she was flowergirl in our wedding. My sister told her if she did it again she'd get her head shaved. And let me tell you, my sister was NOT making an empty threat. :rotfl:

Here's a gross doll story. I always wanted a Baby Alive doll, the one that came with powered stuff you mixed it with water and fed her. Well, I guess I fed her and no one ever cleaned her up because she ended up getting worms!! :lmao: You know, those wormy things you find in sugar and flour after it's been around too long...yup, growing out of her mouth! :crazy2:

One word:

GROSS!!!!!

Wow, running this is turning out to be harder than I thought it would be. When I THOUGHT I was clarifing myself earlier I just made it murkier. I want this to be fun, yet fair.

So rule #3 has be ammended to read: One guess per day per Screen Name.

I apologize, I'm just trying to keep it as simple as I am, no wait...
Keep it as simple as I CAN. Yea, that's it.

BTW - Robots isn't it.

OK it's after midnight so slates are clean for another round of guesses. So bring em on!

What is your favorite Universal attraction and why? Can't think of one off the top of my head.

When was the last time you visited Universal, either park? October 2002.

Has anyone dined at Emeril's and is it really worth waiting 6 months for reservations? Nope, so don't know.

What ride/attraction/technology from Universal would you like to see Disney adopt in the future? Spiderman. It's really cool IF it's working properly!

Since DVC began offering a discount on annual passes, do you stay mostly on Disney property? If not, where in Orlando would you go? Only time David and I have stayed off property were the 2 times we went to US/IOA, mostly so we could get the FOTL access. We've stayed at HRH and RPR, and though the theming was good there's no comparison to Disney.

For many years I begged for a Baby Alive doll. My family wasn't well off and that was not a "necessary" toy. It wasn't until my mom realized that little girls in her kdg class had her (the same kids who were on gov't subsidized free lunch programs) that she decided that no matter how poor we were, she could swing a doll for me. She figured if the really poor kids could have it, then I could too!!

So I got her for Christmas.

I had her for quite sometime until one time I didn't quite get her cleaned out well after a feeding and....
well, flies took residence in her GI tract....
and laid eggs....

nothing needs therapy more than watching maggots come out of your Baby Alive's MOUTH!!! NASTY!

Double GROSS!!!!!

Hi Everyone,

Just a quick check in.

I saw the surgeon today and if my ct scan comes up normal, and that I can use the hospital that the surgeon uses I will be going in for the laproscopic surgery on Friday.
Good luck. pixiedust: We'll be thinking of you for a quick recovery.

I didn't mean it like that. Sorry Karen. You are loved here  and we will miss you on the cruise.

That's what I get for following 2 threads at once. I'm causing some havoc on the planning board with people parking at BCV or BWV and walking to Epcot. :stir:

Which hotel did you like better? I'm looking at staying for a night or 2 to see if FOTL is worth it.

Whichever Hotel You Choose, DEFINATELY, worth the FOTL!

DD and I stayed at the HRH last March and rides were walk on for us!

We did Mummy at least 10 times before the regular line got thru! :rotfl2:

With all those Doll stories, makes me glad now that I did not have one!

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

No pic here either, but I don't have the key to my new mail box, yet!

Anybody know how to pick a lock?

Yes Robin I switched to daily countdowns just to make it harder on you. :lmao:

Ok I had a cruise nightmare last night. We were on the ship and I didn't have all the button packets done so I was sittting in someones stateroom (I know it wasn't ours) trying to get them done and then realized when I looked at the clock that I had missed the DIS meet. :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

Somehow I don't see that ever happening to you.

Me, definately, but not you.

Procrastination is NOT your middle name. ;)
