Ilene,

Sorry to hear about all your troubles right now. I am sure things will work themselves out. Pixie Dust to you and your family.

After all the yard work we felt like doing NOTHING yesterday. Today DH and I are sore and will probably go to the pool and let DD swim while we sit in the hot tub.:thumbsup2

Hi Everyone!!!

Ilene - Oh boy....I know what you mean about a smart person being dumb. My child is like that too. My sister was like that too but she seems to have grown out of it. Sometimes I wonder if all that smart pushed the common sense out the door.

Holy cow 9 weeks. :faint: AHHHHH!!!!I don't know if I'm ready. I mean I'm ready but not sure if I can get it together in 9 weeks.
School starts in three weeks here and I still don't know my son's teachers or have a supply list. I really wish they would get moving on getting that info to us. I only found out yesterday what bus he will be taking to and from school and only just got his pin number for his lunch acct.

9 weeks I really can't believe it. Time is flying by.

Ilene good luck with everything. I'm sure everything will work out.

My dd's are home from camping. You can tell that they were with grandma and grandpa for 4 days. They are now back to reality where everything is not their way. It should be a fun few days around here.

That's going to be us in 2 weeks. Emily is going to spend Labor Day weekend at her Grandma's house. And, grandma lets her do all kinds of things that mommy and daddy don't let her do, like jumping on the bed. Urrgggg, it's a little bit of a struggle the day or 2 after she gets home, but she quickly realizes that things are different here at home than at grandma's house. ;)

We made it back from our camping trip. Had a great time, met some really nice people. Yesterday it rained the better part of the day and it felt more like October this morning when we got up. Ah, the life of living in Michigan.

Wow Roxann, I can't believe the RT price is $19 and change! What a great deal, thanks for doing all the checking and getting us a great price!

For our little poll regarding the time to leave I have the following that responded:

Wdwlvr #1
BCVPrincesses #1
Sanddune #2
Socks68 #2
RSSchneck - no preference
cgcw #1
Ilene #1
Scratch42 #1 or #2
Dianalyn #1
acourtwdw #1
Copper3 #2
#1Mouse #1

That's 8 for #1 (meeting at 8:45, leaving at 9:00)
and 3 for #2 (meeting at 9:15, leaving at 9:30)
and 2 that were fine with whatever the majority wanted.
If I missed someone's vote let me know. At this time it looks like the majority would like to meet at 8:45 am and have the bus leave at 9:00.

I guess I'm pretty lucky. Grandma & Grandpa don't let Nick get away with things (a little bit when he was younger) but not now. If anything I think they are tougher then Jeff & myself sometimes

Annmarie I'm glad they caught the guy that took all the pictures. Hopefully the cleaning service will check out their employees a little better.

Ilene pixiedust: I hope things start to look up for you guys.

Welcome back!
Glad to hear you had a good time. Don't you just love those weather changes. It rained so hard here over night it was wet on the door stop between the front door and the screen door that had the windows closed.

I heard it coming down and felt bad for some out ouf town vendor that were at the next town over for the weekend craft fair. I stopped by their yesterday and there was some pretty cute stuff. If I had more room I could have easily spent some money.

This is a good warning for me. No grandkids yet, but do have 2 married DD's, so it could happen. I've always said the great thing about grandchildren would be that at the end of the day you can hand them back over to their parents, but I don't want to give my OWN children any more trouble than the little darlings all ready might. Thanks for telling a "not-yet" grandparent how it can be.

Hey everyone!! Is anyone going to chat tonight??? I need to clean my office, so I'll try to be there!!!

Just finished watching Big Brother and heading to chat now.

Busy day again, but Ian's lunch is all packed for his first day of school tomorrow and he's in bed (though not sleeping yet.) Whew, finally a little break to sit at the computer. Guess I'll go check out chat for a bit...

I hope chat was fun! We rented the movie "RV" with Robin Williams. VERY FUNNY!

Chat was fun!!! There were quite a few SSMC06 cruisers there. Curt and I ended up being the last ones in there!!! Well, off to bed, as the little munchkins will be up early!!!

Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers for our "situation". Things are looking brighter today as we have a game plan. DH will hang on to the business because even with as little as he's making he probably won't be able to find another job for that pay and he/we will try to find some new types of business. Digital portraiture has promise but it has to be marketed more so he will focus on that for awhile. Anyway were feeling better today and not so scared.

Had a birthday party for my DD and her friends before she heads back down to Daytona to school. They had a wonderful time. 4 good friends plus herself played Cranium for awhile then Taboo and ate popcorn and grapes. Ordered pizzas and I made a huge salad. Then we had BD cake and she opened a couple of presents from me. She had been given a Nintendo DS Lite from her brother so I bought her a game, she LOVES mario bros. I'm trying to find Kingdom Hearts for her too (grown up disney game). Then the girls played DDR in our livingroom and watched the TV shake. They sat around and talked about going back to college and some wanted to and some didn't and some weren't! She had a great time. DH and DS and his financee were at the Sox / Yankee game in the rain but they had a great time too but didn't get home until 3:45 as they had to drop off my son's financee's dad, who lives a ways from here!
It's off to work for me this am. Gotta pack up dd tonight, she leaves tomorrow with DH (to drive down) and I meet them on Wednesday. SOOO need this little trip to WDW.

Good morning everyone! Had fun in chat last night. I'm heading back to work today with a very red face - a little too much sun yesterday!

Hope everyone has a great day.
