Sorry I missed chat once again! The 3 hour time difference is a killer. DH and I just came inside from shoveling over 2 yards of river rock tonight. One more yard to go in the morning and our landscaping project is complete for THIS year. Makes 7 yards of river rock we have shoveled in the past 6 weeks. SHEESH! Looks good though and we will never have to replace it like bark!

Good morning everyone from Milwaukee!

We got up here about 3pm yesterday and checked into the hotel. Made it over to the Fest grounds by about 3:30 (we walked over). About 3:45 it started to rain. They let us on the grounds early (they were supposed to open at 4). Well Irish Fest is much like WDW - if the rain comes you just put on a poncho and keep having fun. Went to listen to our favorite band that always opens the fest (they are the guys who started it). Then for our dinner tradition of baked potatoes followed by roasted corn. Listened to another great group (if any of you are old enough to remember the Clancy Brother with Tommy Makem this group is made up of 3 of Tommy's sons as well as two other young men called the Spain brothers). After that it was off for dessert in the tea room and one last group for us. They were a bit loud so we didn't stay for that one instead we opted to head back to the hotel.

Got in about 8 or so and I was able to log on to chat. Had a great time with a number of Member Cruisers in chat.

Today we'll head back to the fest in the afternoon.

Have a great day everyone!

This is so totally Ian right now. I even watched him do this at Visiting Day today. I wanted to get him to stop, but there were so many people in the room I couldn't get over to him. Just curious, when do they outgrow this? And please don't tell me never.

Well, I'll tell you that Emily is almost 5 and she STILL does it. We are constantly reminding her to pick things up and NOT to step all over them. I don't know what it is, but it's out of hand!!!

Sounds like you're having a good time, Mary!!! It was nice to see you in chat last night!!

Good morning everyone!!! I'm completely exhausted this morning!! Chris is on call this week, and he was paged multiple times throughout the night, so basically, I woke up several times too. I'm not one to fall asleep quickly, so I didn't get much sleep. Chris finally laid down to get a little sleep. It's a work in the house day, so thankfully we don't have anywhere to go.

I had a feeling this is the case. I was just hoping otherwise. ;)

I hate when that happens, too. When the alarm goes off at David's office, he's the one that gets the call - usually just after I've fallen asleep. There have been nights when the alarm company would call 3 or 4 times. And I'm like you Amy, can't fall asleep quickly.

Maybe you'll find a little time to curl up for a good nap today.

Boy, yesterday turned out to be a busy day. We had Visiting Day at Ian's preschool in the morning. We got to meet his teachers and he got to check out his classroom and meet the other kids in his class. Well, we no sooner walked in the room and he was off finding things to do/play with. He barely noticed we were there he was so busy. After that I had to drive downtown to pick something up, then headed way north - like about an hour away for something else.

By the time we got home is was 2:30 and we had all of 45 minutes to play before heading off to swim class. At least Ian got a good 2 hour nap in while we were in the car.

Today we have a DIS meet and it looks like it's going to be a good one. I think there are supposed to be around 30 people there. We're meeting at a Mimis Cafe, if anyone's interested in joining us. ;)

In the mean time I guess I should do a little laundry or something. Why, oh why, can't it wash itself.

It's no better in my house either. Nick is 11 and his idea of "picked up" and mine seem to be very different at times.
I think it will get better when he moves out! :rotfl:

:surfweb: Morning all,

Well as some chatters from last night might remember, I was SUPPOSED to be on the road today ::cop: + :car: , well I am sort of, Igot assigned to a mini-station. I'm just destined to be on the boards, what can I say. Granted I am getting paid so :confused3 who's complaining???

Thanks everyone for the 200 congrats, I hope I din't fuss too much. I'm sure #300 will be even less. (:tilt: all bets are off for 1,000 though :tilt: )

Oh, I know just when it will happen, from about 1-3pm, when the girls are taking their naps, I just might have to join them. But, I'm hoping not to, so that I'm ready to go to sleep at a normal time. I've found that if I do take a quick nap, I'm up late because I'm just not tired. Ahhh, a crazy circle!!!

:cheer2: Congratulations Curt on your 200th post!! :cheer2:

Well, sometimes Walker still does it, when he's really busy, although he's a great cleaner upper when he wants to be. I can tell you for certain, that Cameron at 11 at least steps over things (like his dirty clothes laying on the floor). ;)

I'm sure it's a phase, the little kids have such tunnel vision. :3dglasses

That sure is a lot of work, Roxann. The long term benefit hopefully will out weigh the work. :thumbsup2

Your story of Ian's day at the preschool reminds me of Walker's first day. I dropped him off, he ran to get started as I walked away in tears. Two hours later, I go to pick him up, he takes one look at me and tosses himself down on the floor crying. I look at the teachers, they look at me and say he had a wonderful day. The problem???? Walker didn't want to go home. :rotfl2:

I hope Ian enjoys it as much as Walker did.

I need to catch up a little from yesterday! I took the day off to take the girls to the waterpark, and then tried to catch up on laundry and other things, and never turned on the computer last night. I figured I'd look in while I was at work this morning. We are going up to our boat this afternoon for the night, and theres no computer there. But its so relaxing! I can't wait. So here goes.....

 Happy Aniversary, Connie and Chuck!!

:cheer2: Curt, Congrats on 200 posts![/SIZE] :cheer2:

Safe travels to all who are traveling also!
