Sorry to hear Cameron is feeling bad - this weather doesn't help things either. Yesterday was one ugly day! Go figure today it's very nice out and maybe the rain went away.

I will be busy washing clothes and cleaning the house. I need to get Deanna packed for her stay at her grandma & grandpa's house and then I have to get mine and John's things packed. Funny how it all gets done some how!

Have a great trip and cruise!

Important Dining Poll:

I just got off the phone with DCL regarding early dining for our cruise. For those of us who have decided to link with others from this thread for dining, I'm going to take a poll as to what rotation you would prefer so that I can note that to DCL.

Here are the options:

1. Triton's 5:30 This would be TAAP
2. Animator's 5:45 This would be APPT
3. Parrot Cay 6:00 This would be PTTA

4. I don't have a preference

If you could please post your preference here, I will pick up the results.

I don't want any hard feelings, so whichever rotation has the most votes is what I'm going to request.

Keep in mind this does not mean we will get this rotation, it's only a request.

Thanks.

Cindy
I would probably say 2 or 3, because I would rather not have dinner at 5:30pm.

Happy Wednesday to all! Now that I've calmed down from yesterday and the possibility of not taking the cruise, things should hopefully be smoother sailing!

Georgie - It's great hear you're still sailing with us!

Hello Cruise Mates! I can't believe I'm writing this, but we have a new baby to bring on board! He made the cut off by 2 days(being 12 weeks). We adopted him 2 weeks and are just now getting settled! lol
The caseworker that did our homestudy for NJ will be here today to start the papers for finalization! :goodvibes (takes a bout 6 months-3 visits).
He is so beautiful and I can believe we have him in our arms for good!
His name is Nathaniel. He will be 7 weeks old this Friday. When we were placed with him he was 8 pounds and now just shy of 11 pounds! :rotfl:
Of course now i have 101 questions about traveling with a newborn! Are the pack a play cribs they will give us will be clean? How many sheets should I bring? How terrable expensive his bottled water on board to make formula. I'm actually thinking of getting the liquid just for the cruise so not have to worry about mixing. We will be at the parks for 4 days prior to sailing, so i would use poweder for then though.
Omg! My head is spinning. I'm usually a organized person and I'm starting to panic that I will forget something now, since this is the first time that I'm a mommy to a baby.
Okay gonna take a breather, and will be back hopefully sooner than later! lol

CONGRATULATIONS!!!

My vote is for Option 2 because Parrot Cay was my favorite restaurant and we would get that twice. Also, the time would be right in the middle so there is more time to shower/change before dinner and more time to get to the theatre after as well. I did Option 1 last year and having Triton's on the first day seemed a bit rushed. Also, I didn't like the menu at Animator's Pallette.

Did they say which night is Pirate night?

I like #3....gives us two nights at Tritons, which IMO is much nicer than Parrot Cay. The second choice would be #1 which would give us two nights at Animator's Palet. I am just not that impressed with Parrot Cay compared to the two others.

Time wise, I had 5:30 in January and we liked it. Got in early, got out early, gave us time to relax before the show. If we wanted to stay at dinner longer, we could and not worry that we were going to miss something. Any of the 3 times would be fine with us, though.

BTW....I want to make sure you have me listed as part of the group ressies. I didn't see my name up on the website for linked ressies.

I posted about this a while ago and thought I'd bring it up again now that we're closer to the cruise.

Would anyone be interested in a poker game on the cruise? I know it's hard to find a place to play and Disney doesn't have a gambling license so it couldn't be in a public area. I have poker chips and will make room for them if there is interest. Last year I did hear of poker games happening on the ship but didn't pursue them because Casey was with me. Of course, I was thinking this would occur late at night so not to disrupt the other activities. Also, we could play where no money is exchanged so Disney would not get in trouble.

Any thoughts?

Congratulations Kerri and Welcome to your new son Nathaniel.

Can't help with the cruising with a baby but I'm sure you'll get some great tips from Diana and Amy.

My choice is #3 and then #2

Thanks for taking this task on Cindy, we will be happy with whatever you plan!

Kevin, you and Terry are on my list.

Not sure about that list on the website. I'll send my list to Mark and hopefully he can update their website.

My vote is for #3. I like the 6:00 time better because we can stay and watch sailaway. We had the 5:30 in May and we were just barely out of the channel and had to run to dinner. Second choice for me would be #2.

Cindy - if you put up your final list Mark can upload it onto the site.

Thanks for doing this for us!

Good morning everyone. More storms coming through Chicago. Steve and Tina sounds like you will have the worst of it as it is mostly south.

Not too bad over here, yet...Some rain, mostly light. Keep your fingers crossed that it stays this way, and that the sun comes out soon! :sunny: I miss it!

First of all, you better count the votes very carefully, because there's been some known cheaters on this thread. :rolleyes1

That being said, I'm gonna vote 3 PTTA because I think 6:00 is a better time for me to eat some chicken fingers from Pluto's once we get back onboard and not be too full when dinner comes around.:rotfl2:
