Good morning everyone!

Gail when we went into room 2 at about 8:30 central we could see you had logged in (but we were still in the main room at that time I think) so I sent you a pm but you were offline by then. Hope you enjoyed your quiet evening alone.

Jeff - thanks for the info. I do hope it comes sooner than later because you know us DISers like to plan things. :lmao:

Speaking of planning. For those of you in the area Mark and I will be at WDW on June 3rd and 4th. We'd love to meet up if possible. I know Amy said in chat that her family may be able to come over. Since we have only the two days (and Saturday will be a short day as we get off the ship that morning) we only have two - maybe three objectives. 1) Epcot for the Flower & Garden show (and later Illuminations), 2) AK for Expedition Everest and 3) MGM as it seems they now have some displays for Cars over there. So if anyone wants to get together let me know. We're staying at Boardwalk and haven't made any dining plans at all.

I'd like for the email to come soon too, btw, when can we book excursions/massages/Palo reservations? That should be coming up soon.

Count me in regarding any WDW meet plans! :woohoo: Just say where and when and I'll be there. Just curios, when are you flying down? I'll be at MCO next Friday afternoon/night(May 26). I'm flying back to NJ for the holiday weekend. I'm flying JetBlue but I can't remember what terminal that is.

Count us in for a meet We'd love to meet.

Jeff, I think Jetblue is terminal A, not 100%

Also on the emails thanks for the research.

Jeff we are flying in Friday morning but not staying near the World. We are heading right to the port and checking into our hotel in Cocoa Beach. That afternoon we are driving up to New Smyrna Beach to meet up with friends (and fellow cruisers) for dinner. Then back down to Cocoa Beach for a DIS meet at the Radisson.

Normally once you are Castaway Club members (cruised with DCL at least once) you can book excursions etc. 90 days out. Last year however it was less time than that because it was a charter. I think that is why so many of us are hoping for some news.

As for meeting - any suggestions on what would work best for everyone. We want to stay in the Boardwalk/Epcot/MGM area. Should we meet up for a meal or an afternoon. We're pretty flexible. Would like to scout out some ideas we are having for a DIS meet spot in October just in case DVC doesn't do anything special like last year.

OK - back to work I go. I'm at work (supposed to be catching up on things) but took a short break. :lmao:

For us, probably Saturday lunch/afternoon/dinner would work best. We'll probably only come up for the day.

Sounds good Amy. Jeff & Cheryl will Saturday work for you guys as well?

Any suggestions on booking dining? Do we want to stay in Epcot or try something at the resorts? Amy what works best with the girls?

Well, for us, anything that isn't too fancy is best. Buffets are great too, because they girls can eat right away. But, we can do almost anything. We did Whispering Canyon with Cheryl in March and it worked, so they can/will do regular seating stuff.

So basically, I'm saying that as long as it isn't fancy, like Yachtsman or Flying Fish, then we'll be ok.

Well there is always Cape May. I know you guys just went there so if you want to try something different we can. Has a good selection for everyone.

Cape May is one of our favorites, so we can always go there. Any other ideas, Cheryl, Todd & Jeff?

Sorry I was out shopping. Cape May Cafe is good, there is also a character dinner at the Swan at Gullivers according to All Ears. I have never been there.

:cake: HAPPY BIRTHDAY MICHELLE (tcc's dw) :cake:

Jeff - thanks for the awesome information! Sounds possibly like last year's approach of some info and then some more is being switched up. Wonder if this is because some complained not knowing about the theme days. I know none of us did as we discussed it on the thread.

I am anxious to find out the dates we can book excursions and what excursions will be available to us at CC. I really want to get my nails done on the ship so that I do not have to worry about that before the wedding, however, I do not want to miss a big event (ok Ducky and other special presentations :rotfl2: ). Hope we know soon!

Also, we may want to try Palo for brunch so here's hoping they do something special and have it on the CC days.

Good morning Member Cruisers
- we sail in 22 weeks!

Woo Hoo ! We are another week closer to cruising!

party:

Pretty quiet on the thread yesterday - everyone must have been out and about enjoying the Spring weather. I now we got lots of yard work done. I also had to go into work for a couple of hours to get caught up before we leave Friday.

This morning I'm off to get a pedicure. Thank you to the lovely ladies from SSMC05. If we never had that discussion I never would have gone for my first one. Now I think I'll make it part of my pre-cruise ritual.

Good morning all! You're right, it was quiet around here yesterday. I was busy in my office/scraproom trying to get organized. I still have a long way to go, but I was successful in finding the bottom of my desk.
