Cindy I was able to get it to work.

All you do is submit that you want the updates. Nothing else really happens...

BTW folks....

I guess that's the part that surprised me.....I was expecting something to happen. :confused3

Welcome back, Curt & Karen. Tell us about your trip!

We're Baaaaaaaaack

My My what busy little beavers we all were 22 PAGES!! Oh well it's something to do after court when I take over the desk.

A week in WDW with my nieces, an experience that won’t be soon forgotten!! A good time was had by all, for the most part. One of the best experiences was this was our first time in a one bedroom. As I speak Karen is reworking her plans to see if we can make that work for us again. Personally I loved that tub; it WILL be hard going back to a studio…

On another note I had a bonafied Disney Magical Moment. pixiedust:

I was AGAIN able to embarrass the bejezus out of my beloved. For my belated 40th birthday present I was given the DiveQuest tour. All I can say was, I HAD A BLAST!! For a tank dive that was the BEST. Two :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 . Anyway, I told Karen to go to the Observation deck at Living Seas like they told us to do, and sure enough there was my honey :flower3: on the other side of the window. After taking a couple of pictures I was able to communicate my thanks to her by signing “I Love You.” I could clearly see every person standing in close proximity to her go “awwwww” (really something to see when your 20 feet underwater) and I was able to see her turn a lovely shade of red . Definitely a “Kodak” moment, too bad I wasn’t the one with the camera. (2-4-95 Fred)

I was also able to experience the “Green Team” training on Mission: Space. The less intensive experience was still a VERY satisfying attraction. For those Dis’sers who don’t enjoy the “spinny” rides (i.e.: Mad Tea Party or Primeval Hur, er Whirl) then Mission: Space Green Team is for you!! Two more :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2.

Me, the non-planner now has our airline reservations for October. :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Better yet, it's less than $600 for the 4 of us. :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Wow Cindy, that's a heck of a deal. Southwest still hasn't released October fares yet, and I still haven't been able to book my August tickets because they are only DINGing June fares right now. :sad2: Flying out of Albany we are seriously limited in flight choices. My dad keeps telling me to go down to his house and fly Jet Blue out of Newark. I'm starting to think maybe that isn't such a bad idea.

Now let’s play catch up …

Belated Congratulations to Diana for the 3,000th post, :chat: & a warm greeting to the shy Shark. :sail: Come back more often sometimes I feel like the only chatty guy around here.

Mighty thanks to Jeff for his company last week and for a copy of the last cruise video. Karen wants to get together in July when we are back down south and have less "baggage." Additional kudos for Jeff for the 100th post. :thumbsup2

Anniversary Wishes to Cheryl & Jeff. :groom: & :bride:

Congratulations to Kiele on the brown belt and a warning to Roxanne: I'm I the only one who sees the inherent danger of having a 9yr old karate mistress in the house? Helloooo - "Kiele, dear child, go do your homework, please? :rotfl:

Mary J – My best thoughts for your family and hopes of full recovery.

Mark & Mary – You think you guys could clue me into a pick for the Big Game numbers. Providence seems to be running pretty good for guys! Enjoy the vacation! :sunny:

Cindy – Keep us updated on Walker. He sounds like an A1 kid and no one likes to be off the playground for too long.

Good traveling wishes to my fellow Michigander Gail – have fun in Disneyland!! :moped: Hopefully you get there faster than this.

Stacy – We got goodies for you……. Like Jeff said in the posts. “Wicket’s Warehouse" :ewok: is picked pretty clean but I think we got what you were looking for. Give Karen a PM later today for details.

Well that only took four hours. Karen will be mad that I'm all caught up.

Talk to you all soon!!

I did save an extra $100 because USA3000 sent us credit vouchers for $25 each for the inconvenience we went through in March. Nothing we asked for, something they did for every passenger on board. A nice gesture of good will. And, their prices were the same online as well as through their reservation agents, which also surprised me. So, we were able to book with a "real" person and use the credit. But, still, at regular fare of less than $691 to be exact, that's pretty good for 4 of us round trip.

Glad to hear you had a great time!

I'm anxious to try Mission Space Green Team! I couldn't go on MS during MH because I was pretty pregnant with Julia. Last year when we went, I chickened out. I'm the kind of person who almost always closes their eyes on rides and I read that was the one thing you shouldn't do on MS. I feel a lot more comfortable without the spinning!!

Curt & Karen, that is really neat. :cool1: :cool1:

I might even try Mission Space now. Of course, my children will call me a wimp, but that's okay, it's not something I'd try any other way and I'll admit it. Thanks.

I believe the term I use with the CM taking the Green Ticket was "wus". :lmao:

I just got off the phone with Stacy and told her all about my day, but I figured I'd share it here too. Mark's good luck must be rubbing off on me. No, my boss didn't offer to pay for my cruise....I'm my own boss, so I guess maybe my boss is.....anyways.....

This morning my phone rang and it was the lady at AC Moore (craft store) calling to tell me my Cricut (the electronic die cutting scrapbooking machine) came in. Now a little background, these are really hard to get and Michaels and Joanns are not accepting their 40% coupons on it. They are $299. So for Mothers Day, bruce was gonna buy me one. He talked to the manager and he said no problem, they'd take the coupon. I thought it was too good to be true. So, she called this morning and said, one small problem. (YIKES! They aren't accepting the coupon) Nope, my coupon had expired so all I had to do was bring in the current one!! So I got it for $180 and everyone else is getting it for $299. BARGAIN!!!

Then I get home and I was on a waiting for August for one night at BW for BW view. My ressie was at SSR, which was the only thing available. So DVC called and left me a message, my waitlist was through, but it was for BW preferred, not BW view. OK fine, I'll take it. So I go back to my answering maching to get Stacy's work number and the phone rings again, it's DVC guy calling me back 10 minutes later saying a BW view just came open!!! :cool1:

I'm off to buy a lottery ticket now!

Congrats Diana. This really is your day. That's a great deal for the Cricut. (I'm not getting one because I already have a Wishblade.) And a BW view, that's sweet!

Freak accident, yes. I've always had it a rule that the kids are not allowed to be walking in the kitchen while I'm cooking. I think I'm going to take it one step farther and now not do any type of cooking while the kids are sitting at the table.

I had no idea just how far broken glass can travel. :guilty:
Wow, so sorry Walker got hit. Shattering glass does have a tendency to fly. I once dropped a glass and not only did the glass scatter across the room, I later found some around the other side of the counter. Who would have thought. And those shards tend to show up forever. I hope you were able to find all the little strays so none of the other kids get hurt. pixiedust:

Okay, y'all have probably talked about it before. But what is Twisted Tea?

My DD and neighbors DD had a bike accident. They ran into each other  Anyway, my DD got some concrete burns and a couple of band aids were used to help with the pain! A little ice and she was feeling better in a couple of hours. I think she will wear some pants next time she rides ;)
OMG, how scary. So glad to hear your daughter is okay. pixiedust:

(I guess that's something I have to look forward to when Ian gets older.)

That's a great deal for 4 airline tickets. I have no idea how much ours were since I let David take care of all the planning for this trip. But I'm sure our 3 tickets weren't that cheap. Way to go Cindy!

Welcome back Curt and Karen. So glad y'all had a good trip. That dive experience sounds really awesome!

Hey guys - I have a question. Has anyone flown or have any experience with Frontier Airlines? I'm trying to find a flight for my trip to Phoenix for my scrapbooking retreat. But, lately the best I can come up with is from $330 to $400. But, I did find a flight that leaves Tampa on United, but comes home on Frontier for only $274. I've heard of Frontier, but I don't know anything about it.

I think I have a while back and don't recall having problems. They are huge in the West, esp southwest. The only airline Matt and I won't every fly again is Spirit.

Is anyone else concerned about the lack of Cruise Updates? I was reading the trip reports from last year's cruise, and they had updates every 2-3 months. They knew in February the theme of the cruise and some of the speakers. It's almost June and we haven't heard a thing. :confused3 Any ideas? Do you think it would help to call Member Services and let them know I'm not a happy camper? Am I being too demanding?
