I tried to get into chat a few times tonight and when I finally got in I couldn't post anything. Oh well, another night.

I had chat problems too. Sorry I missded everyone.

Karen, that is a clever cake. Belated happy birthday to KT.

Glad that the campers had a good time.

I was trying to get to Chicago for the half marathon this August, but it looks like the car repair we had last week took the money I need to play there.

We've got the refrigerator with the freezer on the bottom. I like that. I wish the unit would be working though. We've had to have repair out 3X now. A 4th is scheduled since the last repair did not work. Thank goodness for our warranty. So, we have a freezer on the bottom, but cannot use it.

Just got home from a busy day here. We went out to the Plymouth Art Fair (that's in Curt & Karen's area) and then went over to check out the new IKEA. That store is unbelievable, we'll definitely have to take another trip there again just to see if there's anything we missed. I found some really nice glass cabinets that I could use in the basement to put some of my Disney Figurines in.

Good morning,
Well I'm going to try to head out to work for a few hours today. It's only 3mi from home so I can come home easily if I'm in too much pain.

Gail, we have a new IKEA here too. I think I know exactly which glass cabinet your speaking of it's around $60 right. I really like it and was thinking of getting one also. Disney stuff would look great in it. :thumbsup2

I'm heading to Chicago, next July for the 50th Anniversary of La Leche League International. It's an organization that helps women with breastfeeding. I've been a leader for 19yrs. The organization and the women I've meet have become the MOST influencial in my life. I can honestly say I am who I am primarily due to LLLI. I've been to Chicago twice for other LLLI conferences. Chicago seems like a nice city but I haven't ventured out of the hotel much. Last time we were there (about 4 yrs ago) there was a big "Taste of Chicago" festival going on but it was too hot and I was too tired after conferencing all day to take a peek. Oh then after the conference my DD and I drove to Sandusky, OH to Cedar Point, we had the most fabulous time, what a nice clean park with good food and lots of coasters. The drive out was fascinating through all the corn fields, mind boggling that there is so much farm land to feed all our peoples!

Well, off to shower and work. Catch up later. Have a good day. :sunny:

Good morning everyone! Cindy we wondered what happened to you in chat. One minute you were there talking and the next you just exited. Fast even for you :lmao: I didn't stay much longer. We did have a good group. Karen and Mary were talking about joining the banana boat. Ladies don't forget I need your info! Amy let me know what Tim and his wife have to say as well.

Have a great day everyone!

So I was the first once bounced out? Is someone trying to tell me something? :rolleyes1 I guess you saw me exit before I actually did because I sat there and sat there waiting for my response to show up. The screen didn't move but sometimes it's slow so I waited and finally I just gave up.

Maybe I'm a marked woman? :rotfl:

Gail - I was at the Plymouth Art Fair too yesterday - went both on Friday and yesterday because there was so much to see and buy$$$

I have 2 of those glass curios from IKEA - they are nice for showing off some of my Disney glasses in the kitchen corner and my Lenox pieces in the LR. Do you remember seeing them when you were here? Let me know when you're heading down this way again. If I'm around I'd love to see you guys again! Was it very crowded? I heard weekends are not so much fun there - I drive over there during the week and it's not so bad and I go back again and again and...

Good luck, Ilene! I hope that the pain stays away!

Chicago is a GREAT city to visit. One of our favorite things to do is the Taste of Chicago. But, you're right, it can get HOT, and if you're tired, you probably weren't up for it. There are lots of cool things to do in the city!!

That's the one!!! The IKEA here showed them with lights in the top, so of course I will have to add those to the cabinets!

HenniePenny and I went to see Pirates. A little silly but it is still a must see.

Be sure to stay until the end of the Credits! :happytv:

I can't believe I didn't see you there among the other thousands & thousands of people. That's one of my favorite Art Shows to go to!

The parking lot at the IKEA was packed (boy that sure is a huge parking lot!) The store had alot of people in it, but since it's so big, it didn't feel too crowded. I'm guessing it wasn't as crowded as it was on Opening Day :rotfl: They did have the golf carts running taking people to/from their cars. There will be another trip in the near future - we'll give you a call when we are going.

Just wondering.............

Will DVC be offering any special deals to purchase more points on the Member Cruise? I seem to be getting an addonitis attack!
