Update on Cameron's arm: Saw the specialist at Sick Kids on July 4 & 7 and they decided that the cast was likely not tight enough to hold the bones from moving around so they basically tried to reduce the fracture again (no they did not knock him out and yes it appeared to hurt like He**--Cameron was just screaming his head off) but afterward it was fine and the fracture looked good on the xray. So the plan is to leave the cast until this Friday-14th and if all is well then he will remain in the cast for 3-4 more weeks but if the bones have shifted again, then no choice but surgery. So for the most part, the summer is screwed and I have to find ways to entertain a 9 yr old who can not go swimming, go to camp, play sports etc--I think this will be harder on me than him!
Steve, I too bought a refrigerator from Sears--plugged it in, left it for 4 hrs and it cooled great. Went shopping bought like $200 in food (prior to this I was using our camping cooler b/c our 15 yr old fridge did die) filled the fridge and the next morning it was 75 degrees in the fridge--all the food was spoiled and Sears was telling me we do not have one in stock and it will take 5 days to have a new one shipped or a 3 day wait for a serviceman. Neither was acceptable so I took the new fridge option and thankfully no problems but it took over 4 months for Sears to reimburse me for the spoiled food--said the problem was a serviceman never came out to verify the problem (I guess the fact that they replaced the entire fridge is irrelevant!)
I did look around but no one had the great price Sears had (it was some mega sales event) so I was pretty much stuck with them. Glad you were able to get it all fixed.
