WDWLVR said:Good morning everyone! I've never been to any of my High School reunions. My class was 1200 strong and I think only about 200 or so go to the reunions. I do still keep in contact with a few close friends from High School including one group of girls that gets together every fall for a lunch and a house tour (the local infant welfare socitey picks a different house each year to decorate and then charges people to tour them). I do always buy the reunion booklet and enjoy reading what people are up to. I did go to my 25th Grammer School reunion and that was fun. Much smaller group.
1200 Strong!!
I thought my HS class was big with over 500. You got me beat by a mile.

Another group in the field house and yet another in the auditorium.
Do I regret it, maybe?
definately celebrating the occassion.
At the time, the legal drinking age was 18 in Wisconsin, still 21 in IL and I had recently turned 18.

It was awkward and fortunately, we only had that happen once.
Carol - are you sure you were not at my college graduation? It rained as we were walking in to pomp and so we stopped and hid under trees while my family quickly put their ponchos (or you can call them garbage bags cause that's what they were) on to sit in the stands. In the video you can see all the graduates trying to dump the rain off of our chairs - all very amusing. Luckily my hair didn't get messed up as that lovely cap we were wearing sheilded me!
Oh Julie, I hope everything gets better quick with your dad
Those are very nasty infections. We went through that with John's dad last year.
Your comment about me not being "the quiet one" was funny. Curt and I usually take turns with the task. He's actually much more friendly than I, striking-up conversations with anyone at anytime. I'm kinda moody, so I have my moments here and there.
Equally as important - NO guest interaction! I've been waiting on people (in one capacity or another) off-and-on for more than 20 years - No more!!!
Give me a critter anyday!
