He had a test/biopsy on Monday and it seems 5% of the people who have that test develop an infection - he's one of the lucky 5%. The results of his blood workup will be back tonight, tomorrow they start agressively treating the infection and then Sunday he goes home with major meds for 2 - 3 weeks. Mom flew to FLA to pick up Grandma for her trip home (snowbird) on Tuesday while he was in the ER (she didn't know) and she returns today. It's so hard to live far away!

Curt's Mom was admitted into the hospital yesterday with fluid around her heart. It's not too bad yet, but she's had a number of heart problems before, so they want to catch it before it gets bad.
MaryJ said:I still remember my HS graduation. The ceremony was always held outside on the football field, with the gym as a back up in case of rain. The night of my graduation, at the last minute, they moved the ceremony into the gym because rain was being forecast. There was no AC in the gym, and everyone was burning up, especially those of us sitting on the gym floor in our caps and gowns! When we walked out of the gym, you could see stars in the sky and there was no rain in sight!![]()
Fast forward 20 years to my DD's graduation from the same school. The gym is now air conditioned, and all graduation ceremonies are held there, rain or shine.

We are scheduled to head out of town this weekend to Vegas for a work party. While there we get to attend the Sting concert and go to a private party where Kid Rock is going to DJ - I'm excited.

I know, it's just a little freaky. Sometimes when Diana says something, I think that I should just respond, "oh my gosh, that happened to me too", because that's almost always how it is.cgcw said:Okay, you two are just plain scary!
