Hi all!!!!

I miss a few days and there are over 30 pages!!!!! I skimmed....

Diana, Thanks for the T-shirt store.... We will have to visit it.... I hope Bob&Mary have the link on the site. (http://www.cafepress.com/ssmc06)

I have been busy at work... Sorry I have been MIA.

I have a quandry. My 25th HS reunion is on 10/22. So, the big question, should I tell them where I'll be? ;)

Who the heck is Bob? :confused3

Do you keep in touch with many people from your graduating class? Were you voted most popular or a star athlete so you'll be conspiciously missed? I can tell you there were 100 people in my graduating class and from what I understand about 25 showed up to our 15 yr reunion last year. Too many people out there doing much more important things than reliving HS days. Now college---that was a good time with my sorority sisters. I don't miss Homecoming very often, as those girls can party! :rockband:

David, David, David. What on earth have you been drinking? :drinking:

It's Mary & Mark. Not Bob & Mary. :teeth:

Do you have friends Mark & Bob and that's why you are having such a mental block on this one? :rotfl:

Gary & I went to my 10 year HS reunion. It was SO boring. Gary had a much better time than I did. Not my cup of tea. You must be about my age -- it's been just about 25 years since I graduated HS. It was many lifetimes ago. I have no desire to go back and relive that era of my life so the decision would be easy for me. I haven't seen most of my HS classmates since my 10 year, so I have no need to inform them of my vacation plans. :)

It is my middle name, so he's half right. :)

Long as he don't mix me up with that creepy 'Smiling Bob' guy for one of those... umm.. male products all's good!

I would think Mark + Mary M+M would be alot easier to associate with each other than Bob + Mary. :confused3 Maybe we should all start calling David something like Tom or Rick and see how he likes it!

Going back to the HS reunion thing--ugh, looking back, I can't stand the thought of going back there....I went to snobby private school. All girls, nuns, uniforms, the whole she-bang. For graduation there were maybe 10-15 girls out of the 100 in my class who did NOT get a BMW, Mercedes or some sort of sports car as a present. I can say, I'm so happy I'm not living in NYC anymore and keeping up that crazy lifestyle. I totally wanted no part of that reunion but my point is-- if was going to one, and told them I was going on a Disney cruise, they probably wouldn't give a hoot.

Chris went with me to my 10 yr reunion. And, I know that he had a better time than I did. He was introducing himself to everyone, as if he went to school with us. It was quite hysterical!! I also have no desire to go back. Chris's 20th reunion was last year, and it was right before SSMC05. He didn't go, because he just didn't have that many friends that he cared about any more. My 20th will be next year, and if they have a big shindig, I might make an excuse to go, only because it's in Elgin, so at least I can see my family and my DIS friends.

Count us in for a meet on the 26th. As long as I can get tickets we are going to MNSSHP on the 26th. Already have ADR's for LTT @ 4:30 pm. We will be wearing our pirate costumes pirate:

DH's 20th high school reunion is this summer. He does not want to go (he did not go to his 10th). Anyway, I just made ressies for DL for that very weekend :lmao:

I went to my 10th reunion and had a GREAT time. Looking forward to the 20th in 2008

Anyone Watch Idol? A bit od disney trivia about this week's installment.

If you've been to Epcot for the Christmas decorations, you've heard David Foster's music.

About 2/3rds of the music for Lights of Winter (The lighted trellis between Future World and World Showcase) is off his cd A Christmas Album.

Congrats to everyone who hit a milestone!

Count us in for the mini-meet turned big on the 26th at MNSSHP!!

Ok to answer Cindy's GTTYFK question.......I would like anything where you come in contact with people. I'm a people person or social butterfly so that's what I would like.

I couldn't believe I had to read 7 pages to get caught up! And the cruise is still 6 months away! Yikes! :scared1:

I know I missing some things that I wanted to comment on but my brain is fried.

Oh and Jeff I had no idea what you were talking about with that poker stuff. I bet you watch all those poker showdown things on tv too. I don't get how anyone can watch it on tv either :confused3 it's about as bad as golf (can you tell I'm not big on either)

I'd rather go to WDW than a high school reunion any year! Annmarie

My graduating class was like 530 and I've kept in touch with no one.

OMG, Gary did the same thing as Chris! One of my friends DH & Gary both got into the class picture. The class president turned to Gary and said "who are you". He looked at her, smiled and saild "look at the camera". :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: She's probably still trying to match him up to the yearbook pictures. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

:rotfl2: Why is it that I am not surprised that Chris or Gary pulled that stunt at the reunions? :rotfl2: classic!

Bob - now that's funny!

Hmmm, I'm wondering what David's been drinkin' too? :drinking1All I can think of is David's mixing them up with MY friends Mary & Bob out in CA. He's only met them a couple of times so I can't imagine...

Better yet, just call him DAVE.
hehe.gif
(He hates when people call him that!!!)

Never went to any of my HS reunions. I had no intention of going to my 10th, though the few days before I had my own reunion with the only person I really cared to see - girl from Japan that was in my class for junior and senior year. She came in a few days early so we could spend time together. I didn't even hear about the 20th until after the fact when a cousin of mine asked why I wasn't there. No clue if they're planning a 25th or not, but don't really care. Most of my friends in high school went to other schools in the area or lived in other cities/states.

Okay gang you all behave for the next few days. I am off to a huge fireman :firefight convention in Indianapolis. I will be back on Sunday so I suppose there will be 20 pages to catch up on :rolleyes1

Mary, I will look for your brothers :firefight today!

Maybe they will be a Mortons steakhouse tonight :cool1:

Good morning everyone! I've never been to any of my High School reunions. My class was 1200 strong and I think only about 200 or so go to the reunions. I do still keep in contact with a few close friends from High School including one group of girls that gets together every fall for a lunch and a house tour (the local infant welfare socitey picks a different house each year to decorate and then charges people to tour them). I do always buy the reunion booklet and enjoy reading what people are up to. I did go to my 25th Grammer School reunion and that was fun. Much smaller group.
