Here's to peer pressure:

GO FOR IT!!!

Well, I did it! But you guys already knew that when you didn't hear back from me! I didn't get much, but it was nice to get the 4/$1 paper without having to push people out of the way.

Let's see what else.....

Cindy, that is so scary I would have freaked out too. I'm glad everything was ok.

Creme Brulee--you guys can have mine. I had never had it before this last cruise and after all the hype I decided to try it. It was good, don't get me wrong but I'll stick with chocolate.

Congrats Bear on Post #7000!!!!

There, now I'm all caught up!

Congrats to Bear on post #7000

Congrats to Diana on reply #7000

How many more will we have by the time we cruise?

After all the responses on creme brulee I must really be in the minority since I haven't even tried it. We have been on 3 Disney cruises (one being 14 days and I have always found something else to have for dessert). I have a feeling this members cruise I will HAVE to at least try it, being that I will be at the creme brulee lovers table. My personal favorite is the chocolate lava cake.

Carol

I'm in your club, Carol. I've never had it and don't even care to try it. Gary, OTOH, loves creme brulee!

Gee, Cindy why don't you just send Walker down also; there's always room for one more. And Deanna is really good about playing with the younger kids. My daughter loves when we go somewhere and Gail's family is there because she knows Deanna will be there to play with Sarah and Christopher.

Carol

Thanks for the offer, Carol. Remember he has his own credit voucher for USA3000 - so I would except for he has school next week. Graduation is just around the corner for him, so I can't justify him missing the week....although I'm certain he would think it was a great idea.

Maybe another time. :teeth: Like those 10 weeks of summer vacation. What do you think, Gail? :rotfl:

Woo Hoo! Post #7000!

Congratulations!!! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

7000 posts. How long on the first cruise thread did it take us to get to 7000?

Who cares to guess as to how many we'll have come October? :cool1:

Ooops, sorry, I didn't see that Mary already asked that question.

I know what you mean, I picked up some of the 4/$1 paper too. We have a brand new Michael's near us, so they actually have some newer paper styles like Chatterbox & Making Memories. Chris just wonders why I buy new paper when it will just be out of style by the time that I actually scrapbook with it. But, it's pretty, so I buy it!!!

Just a reminder that it is Friday night which means cruise chat. I plan on being there....anyone else?

Depends on what time John's parents leave. We're going to a fish fry with them and then coming back here for the evening. They want to see his progress with the basement, so maybe they won't stay too long.

I'm with Diana! (figures)

I need to clean up the office anyway, so I'll be in chat too.

Wow, I guess having diabetes is all that bad. :teeth:

I have a new group name for the cruisin' diabetics: Jeff's Angels

"My name is Jeff and these are my girls..."

Diana, since your're blond, you could play Farah Fawcet.

Sadly, I can't remember the names of the other women from Charlie's Angels.

About the creme brule: It wasn't that good on the cruise. France has better creme brule at the food and wine stand.

Curt, do they make the chocolate souffle sugar-free?

Mary, same question for the chocolate lava cake?

I hope to be in chat tonight, I'm still at work and may stay to get a half-hour of chat in. I should have Internet access sometime tomorrow.

Ok, I'm dragging up a dying topic but why is everyone talking about the creme broule (sp). Would someone PLEASE sneak up to Palo's for the chocolate souffle - if not I WILL!!!!

Curt, I am sooo with you. I just loved the chocolate souffle. I actually wanted another one. I want to go to Palo for dinner just to get one. I will trade a creme broule for a chocolate souffle. Any takers???

We'll have to do lunch next week sometime so I can pass of Cindy's CJ (and I need an excuse to go out for lunch!)

Sounds like a plan to me! Plus we can celebrate my birthday :cake:

 Well, I'm off today also but Walker & I just woke up. Actually, I was up at 5 a.m. when Gary got up. Apparently he checked on the kids and Walker wasn't in his bed. :confused3 All the sudden, he's walking in our bedroom with a flashlight. I'm still asleep and wondering what's going on when he tells me Walker's not in his bed. :scared1: Hmmmm, he's not in our bed. Up I spring, he's not in Cameron's bed. Check the doors, they are closed so he didn't walk out (sometimes he does sleep walk). Last place to look, the family room, and there is he, zonked on the couch. By then, my heart was pounding as I jumped to the conclusion that someone took my child during the night. I tell you, it was a long 40 seconds or so. :worried:

Gary carried him back into his own bed. Really strange night for him, as he originally fell asleep in Cameron's bed, then Gary moved him into his own bed, then we found him on the couch, moved him back to his own bed and when I woke up this morning, he was sleeping next to me.

We are just hanging out today -- me & the boys. I didn't know it was going to be in the 80's. No spring cleaning for me -- it's much too nice. Mary, since I'm closer than Diana, can you swing by here on your way to her house? ;) Besides, Diana won't be home for a while, she's on her way to Michael's!

Ok that's just a little scary. Luckily that has never happened to us (our place is too small to get lost in)!
Glad everything was ok but I might have had heart palpitations!

:cool1: Congrats to Bear & Diana for posts & reply #7000!! :cool1:

And I'm jealous of Amy & Diana...I didn't get to use my Mike's coupon...this crazy thing called work kept me from getting there to use the coupon!
