I want to be a DVC rep. or a Disney gardener. The 2 things that I love the most!Or if you include DCL ,I could be a cruise planner.

Mary,I hope Christopher feels better soon. Palms are doing fine.I was up watering every thing at 6:00 AM. Before the sun got to hot. I 'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner ,you can always join us on the 26th.I thought you would have known that. Have a great day.
PS. Anyone who wants to hang to gether on the 26th is welcome to! There now I feel better!

We are too, for both before and after!! Our waitlist for before came through within a week. I'm just SO excited, since that's the perfect area to be in with F&WF!!

Reading this, I thought of another GTKYFKK question. Maybe it's been asked, but I have short term memory so I'll ask again.

If you could have any job at WDW, what would it be?

I'd love to be a greeter at one of the hotels, mostly The Beach Club. Or a CM on the Jungle Cruise.

For the MNSHHP meet, so far I have down the following people:

Since I've never done MNSHHP before, I'm open to suggestions where we should meet. Also, how many people wear costumes? I guess we'll have to get the creative juices flowing.

Sandy - F&W is included in Epcot admission but Party for the Senses is not and that is what the $95 is for. For $95 you get admission to the party, priority seating for the 5:45 Eat-to-the beat concert that night and supposedly a special spot to watch Illuminations from. I can't comment on the Illuminations part because we were still inside when it started and it didn't look like any area was being saved for special viewing. Also, I didn't mention that some of the top vineyards are displaying their wines at this event and you get a wine glass when you enter. My mom says it is a somewhat expensive glass but they all look the same to me . The Party is held in the Millenium Celebration building (it's called something else now). Some of the dishes were Foie Gras (spelling?), rack of lamb, some lobster dish in tiny pumpkins, salmon layered sandwich and chocolate lava cake. I have the full menu/program back in NJ.

I plan on attending MNSSHP on October 26th as long as I can get a ticket Monday when they go on sale. I'm up for a meet, what time and location? This would be great for pictures of everyone in their costumes. So, how many pirates will we have?

Julie - I play Texas Hold'em in casinos but will start to play Omaha soon because they have a relatively cheap game in Tampa and it's a lot easier getting a seat at Omaha than Texas. I also play 7 Card Stud but no high-low games yet. I would like to play Razz, 7 card low, if I could find a game. Now that I'm in FL I was considering bringing some chips with me on the cruise but I would need to find a room big enough to hold a game (and some players - anyone?) since I'm in a Cat 11. I know there was a game on the last cruise but I couldn't have played because of Casey.

My WDW dream job: Sports talk/trivia host at either ESPN Club or All-Star Cafe. I love talking/watching sports and I've had several people tell me you should be a sports talk show host. They say I'm a natural. If not this then Hoop-Dee-Doo performer. I shouldn't say this here but I have a pretty strong singing voice but don't use it because of stagefright. This would be a cool job because I could really embarrass people.

Thanks for all the congratulations! I really can't believe I hit 17,000 already but it has been worth it getting to post and chat with all of you and the other friends I've met on the DIS. The cruise boards is really my home and I love it!


As for what I would do if I could work for Disney. I'm very much a behind the scenes type person too but i would love to work in the Marketing or Promotions area. Helping planning events. I think that would be a blast - a lot of work but still a blast. Or I would enjoy working at Guest Services and answering questions about WDW.

One thing some ppl may want to try is the food and wine pairings.

For $35 dollars, you get 3 courses along with matching wines.

I've been to Alfredo's twice, both times it has been excellent.

We are planning on doing MNSSHP on the 26th. Count us in for the meet!

Not sure on what the costumes will be, but using our clothes from the cruise sounds easy. I guess it all depends on if I get creative between now and then.

If I could work at Disney I would like to be a tour guide at the MK. I think that would be a neat job and it would be fun to interact with everyone. One of my dd's old gym coach just got a job at Disney and is going to be a good friend to Pooh. I think that would be way toooo hot for me. She is really excited and called the gym to tell everyone. She want to meet up with us in Oct.
