Evening all - Karen's chained to stove again making a late supper since we talked ourselves out of going out to get food.

To head off all the queries - it's Rotini marinara (I heard there is more than one Dis'er who are pasta fiends). Granted the Olive Garden toscana did sound AWFULLY good but we have some of these pesky bills to pay.

I had fun today with all the Mouska Moms and others, I'll be on the road tomorrow so I'll be quiet.

See you all around in chat on Friday.

I stopped over at the birthday thread and look what Curt posted! He is a true Artist. (ok now that his head and ego are huge) :rotfl:

So did I beat out Karen's song? Did I huh, Did I Huh?

I have a short GTKYFKK question. Thinking about Stacy's birthday today, I'm curious.

Do you look at your own birthday as:

A. Just another day. I prefer not to do anything special. I'd skip it but don't like the alternative.
B. I'm definately celebrating my special day!
C. Birthday nothing -- I'm partying every day of this month!
For me the answer is definately A. Guess it is because of my age. I love celebrating other peoples birthdays but don't make a big deal of my own. The best thing is that Mark's birthday is 2 days before mine so I can celebrate with him like we did this year.

I have never eaten at Red Robin, but we have one over in bolingbrook. I think I'm going to have to try it! What do they have on the menu besides hamburgers?

Oh and BTW I almost forgot, I don't really know you Stacy, But I hope your day was wonderful!
Happy Birthday Stacy!

A great thing about Red's is that most of their burgers also come in a grilled chicken variety. But of course, I always choose the burger over the chicken.

You forgot D. The biggest Christian holiday in the world, so my day often gets overlooked by most people now that I'm older.

Karen got stuff for the squirrels - that you don't need cause I suspect that you're already NUTS.

:rotfl2: have you been talking to Matt or what?

Hmm Jack our cat (it's a she - see #1 above) would like that

And she got a prescription from Target and what she got I'm SURE you don't need.

When we meet up I'll flaunt my CUBS warm up jacket. Hey, I'm from Chicago and I have a tendancy to vote twice, so one AL Team (Tigers) and one NL Team (Cubs). :stir:

LOL woo hoo goo cubbies!

I'd like to thank the Academy.....

Naw, you guys heard that one already...

Who I REALLY want to thank is the MouskaMoms & The Others who egged on my preverse sense of humor, granted much to Karen's annoyance.

A special thanks to Cheryl for doing the thread that I expect no one to visit.

For the rest of my esteemed Disers, please understand that today is the exception to my personality - not the norm. As Karen says, "I'm in quite a mood today." I suspect that I will be a great deal more reserved and will NOT be inflating my post count with arcane antics. I will certainly let post #200 go by with no theatrics.

Good night all - See ya on the boards.

(BTW Julie - you're on... Drive by hugging for Diana asap, she started all this.)

Sounds like a plan! BTW - Mark and I are going to Sweet Tomatoes on Wednesday night. It is a church fundraiser. Looking forward to it!
Ooohhh, we love Sweet Tomatoes, but there isn't one near us. We have to go to Tampa or Clearwater.

So all you cruise regulars (oh and when do we qualify?) - did you request a certain wait staff last year on the DVC Cruise?

Reason I ask is that our assistant server (Herman) was so FABULOUS that I know he'd be perfect for our table of 50+ person :rotfl: ok really, not one table but you know. After the first night he had everyone's drink orders down, including how you wanted your tea/coffee etc, and he figured out right quick that I was always having dessert, no matter how much of dinner I ate!

Is it a bad idea to request anyone? We need to remember our main server's name as she was magnificent too.... hmm just wondering. :smooth:
We can request different servers. We just have to remember that with this large group, we'll probably have several sets of servers. But, I say that we might as well ask if we know of good servers.

It was me. And I didn't exactly have the problem, I just scared him so badly I sent him running for the hills! :lmao:

Ooohh, I bet my princesses princess: princess: would want to bounce with your princesses princess: princess: .
