Mary & Stacy - I recently was introduced to Red Robin and it's sooooo good, glad to know they are all over (never noticed in Chicago lol)

Taxes - we have post offices here staying open as well gotta love tax day

Matt has to work late - something about all the video gamers getting refunds ordering big items over the weekend. Oh well, win some and lose some!

So all you cruise regulars (oh and when do we qualify?) - did you request a certain wait staff last year on the DVC Cruise?

Reason I ask is that our assistant server (Herman) was so FABULOUS that I know he'd be perfect for our table of 50+ person ok really, not one table but you know. After the first night he had everyone's drink orders down, including how you wanted your tea/coffee etc, and he figured out right quick that I was always having dessert, no matter how much of dinner I ate!

Is it a bad idea to request anyone? We need to remember our main server's name as she was magnificent too.... hmm just wondering.

It was me. And I didn't exactly have the problem, I just scared him so badly I sent him running for the hills!

Same thing here - the main post office has someone outside collecting envelopes until midnight!

Stacy - I love Red Robin. I'll have to head back out to Woodfield one weekend for one. Maybe I can even talk Cindy into joining me and I can give her the mirror I promised for Walker's room.

You should go on to Red Robin's web site and sign up so you can get an email for a free burger on your Birthday plus Birthday Boys/Girls get a free sundae!! Can't beat that price!!

I think that I'm going to go out for dinner tonight. I called Chris to ask him what he wants to eat, and can you believe that he went out to lunch today and he's FULL!!! I wanted to do something like Carrabba's, Olive Garden, Red Lobster, Outback. You know, something tasty, but not outrageous!! We'll see. It's hard for Chris to turn down food!!!

I enjoyed Carrabba's when Diana & I had our mini-meet with Karen.
The closest Red Lobster is not so good in my opinion, Our Outback is a little pricey and nothing special (especially with the tons of other choices we have around here, ask Diana she'll vouch for me that there ar a ton of option within 2 miles of my house)
I love Olive Gardens Zuppa Toscana..yummy!

Detroit has THREE 24hr post offices and extended hours at several others. They have postal workers in the middle of the street collecting envelopes (go ahead, run em down - I double dog dare ya). Then usually if tax day is a friday they drive right to a watering hole for the Tax Party. It's crazy here

I signed all three of us up so Nick got a free burger & sundae in Jan., Jeff last month and me tonight.
Oh and let me tell you our server Aaron was GREAT! We had him last month and I requested him tonight. He did a college internship with Disney recently and wears his lanyard with Disney pins!

I remember you mentioning your server a while ago (maybe for Jeff's birthday). How cool. I really would love my boys to do something like that when they get a little older. Although the pay is not that great, I'm sure it's an awesome experience and something extra on a resume.

I signed all 4 of us up -- they sure made that easy to do. So, we'll be dining there at least 4 times in the next year. I'm sure I won't have to twist my families arm to dine there. The kids love their french fries!

Do you look at your own birthday as:

A. Just another day. I prefer not to do anything special. I'd skip it but don't like the alternative.​

They do have some huge salads! and their chcken tortilla soup is pretty good to along with their wraps!
You should check out the menu on there website!

We will get to know each other more as the days get closer to sail date!
Plus my DS Nick (who is 11 yrs old) will be in the club with your girls!
