HOLY CHATTERBOXES!!!!

Man, you guys are out of control today! We left the house a little after 9 to go to a farm where they have a baby animal expo. The girls had a great time. Then we decided to go to Burger King for lunch. Then I had to hit Walmart. Now it's almost 3, and I'm ready for bed. I need to finish catching up but I just want to say.....

Curt, you're still a cheater in my book! :duck:

I haven't been to Burger King since I don't know when. And I have to pass one less then a mile from my house everyday!
Tonight we will be dining at Red Robin for my free Birthday Burger & Sunday!
I LOVE  the Pot Roast burger!!! YUMMMY!! :drinking1

Whew! So, my taxes are FINALLY done! They were really already done, but I kept coming up with an error that I couldn't figure out WHY they said it was an error. Anyway, I was dreading trying to fix it, but after updating my TaxCut software, it was no longer an error. I guess they realized that it was wrong too. So, I e-filed my taxes and wrote my check.

Now, here's the funny part. I told Chris that I need him to get home early so I can go mail this check. He said, no way, I'm waiting until 11pm to pay those taxes. He said, the IRS isn't getting my money any earlier than they have to. So, he's going to head over to the Tampa airport post office (who is always open 24 hours) and mail them tonight. What a nut!!

That's a big thing around here. A bunch of the local Post Office brances will be open till midnight.
Luckily thought I believe most if not all of NYS mails there IRS return to Andover, MA (which is having some holiday today) so the filing due date is the 18th and NYS is following suit.

Detroit has THREE 24hr post offices and extended hours at several others. They have postal workers in the middle of the street collecting envelopes (go ahead, run em down - I double dog dare ya). Then usually if tax day is a friday they drive right to a watering hole for the Tax Party. It's crazy here

I use to do that too. A couple of the Post Offices stay open late on tax day to accept returns and have them post marked by that day. We usually owe every year so I always waited until the very last moment to drop them off. You can't imagine the line of cars at 11 PM lined up at the Post Office. Now, I have to have my taxes done early so I can get the kids FAFSA forms filled out and submitted on time, and this year we actually got a refund!!!

Same thing here - the main post office has someone outside collecting envelopes until midnight!

Stacy - I love Red Robin. I'll have to head back out to Woodfield one weekend for one. Maybe I can even talk Cindy into joining me and I can give her the mirror I promised for Walker's room.

I think that I'm going to go out for dinner tonight. I called Chris to ask him what he wants to eat, and can you believe that he went out to lunch today and he's FULL!!! I wanted to do something like Carrabba's, Olive Garden, Red Lobster, Outback. You know, something tasty, but not outrageous!! We'll see. It's hard for Chris to turn down food!!! :rotfl2:

MMMM Olive Garden... (I'm best Homer Simpson voice)

Hey Curt - did you know I went to school with Home Simpson's voice?

Amy - what about Macaroni Grill? I love that place!

Mary,

I'm in one of my moods :clown: so I should have some smart aleck reply. But ONE, I think that is too cool knowing a name you can see on TV every week and TWO, it is too close to quitting time for me to come up with a good snapper so I'll just let it whither on the vine and die.

Oh, sure, twist my arm, why don't you. What about next month when we have to swap scrapbooks again? We can meet for lunch on Saturday or Sunday! :cool1:

I do too!!

Did you know that the time Gary & I met Mark & Mary at Macaroni Grill, Mary & I ordered just about the same exact thing (except mine have veggies in it and Mary's didn't). Talk about weird.

And, all 4 of us had iced tea too!

There's the cop in you talking! Always looking to make an arrest!

I'm staying out of Detroit. With my van, I'd be an easy target to catch! :moped:

Mary, I think that's cool too that you know a famous voice. I'll have to tell Cameron!

Sounds like a plan! BTW - Mark and I are going to Sweet Tomatoes on Wednesday night. It is a church fundraiser. Looking forward to it!

Yep Dan Castalanetta - Oak Park River Forest Class of '75. We were in homeroom together for 4 years. Not that he'd remember me. :)

And, I will look forward to hearing how you like it. :thumbsup2 We've talked about it enough that you should have a pretty good idea of what to expect --- not to mention that their menus are on their site.

Ewwwww.......Curt, don't you know I don't do hugs!! Ick!! :scared:

Bet that's the first time you were hugged by a cop, though!

Wasn't it you that had a problem with a cop when you were like 10 1/2 months pregnant??? :teeth:
