Speaking of Dis'er, we were standing in the barber shop on Main Street the day Walker stopped in for a color job, and in walked a DIS'er from Schaumburg? BethanyF....she works at the Disney Store at Woodfield, we met on the DIS and came to find out our children go to the same grade school. It really is a small world! :cool1:
Now it really is a small world!

We told this story to Cindy at dinner, but it shows that it is a small world. We were at the MK barbershop getting Chris and Emily's haircuts. In walks a lady to ask who's in line. She looks at us and says, we were behind you guys here a few months ago. Back in October, they were getting their hair cut, and I guess we were in front of them that time too. And, they aren't even from FL, they just happened to be on vacation the same time that we were at WDW AGAIN!!!

Well, I'm off to bed. The morning will come early, and since we have to change the clocks, it's like going to bed at 11:25, instead of only 10:25pm.

So, nighty night to all my DIS friends (and my future in-laws :rotfl2: ).

And, wouldn't this last one look cute on their wedding invitations? :bride: :groom: ;)

Well of course all of your Dis family will be invited! Right!? :thumbsup2

You will find me at the bar with Diana. We will be reminising about the good old days and saying we remember when....... It will be an open bar right! :lmao: :drinking1

Mine:
Cedar Tree (Confidence) -- of rare strength, knows how to adapt, likes
unexpected presents, of good health, not in the least shy, tends to look
down on others, self-confident, a great speaker, determined, often
impatient, likes to impress others, has many talents, industrious,
healthy optimism, waits for the one true love, able to make quick decisions.

Ummm - no. This is just about perfectly opposite of me. "Often impatient" is correct  , and maybe determined and industrious, but that's kind of reaching.

Curt's:
Pine Tree (Peacemaker) -- loves agreeable company, craves peace and
harmony, loves to help others, active imagination, likes to write
poetry, not fashion conscious, great compassion, friendly to all,
fall strongly in love but will leave if betrayed or lied to,
emotionally soft, low self esteem, needs affection and reassurance.

This is Curt, almost exactly. I mean, Peacemaker? Yeah, I'd say that's a pretty accurate description for a cop! And "friendly to all" is an understatement! :rolleyes2

I do have a running tally here though, so I am keeping track of who has voted so far, so don't even think about trying to cheat and vote twice---Curt!! :lmao:

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

You know, it really was an honest-to-goodness mix-up... :o

Boy, it sounds like a lot of us are going to be on the same type of schedule!!!

I'd have to agree, though we're planning on staying until Monday, so we needn't be quite as rushed. (But we'll probably be hanging out with everyone else, so we'll be just as frantic - looks like a pool day on Monday!) :sunny:

And, might I add, that it's a huge relief to know that I'm not the only one who plans vacations down to the day, and six months in advance... :rolleyes1 (Curt is always making fun of me with my planning obsession. Though I notice that he always has an awfully good time on those planned-out vacations. )

All the pictures are great! It really looks as if everyone had a wonderful time! :goodvibes

Curt and I would be good to have at the wedding - Curt can provide the security. Or, he can just roll the drunks (Diana and Stacy) when they start to get out-of-hand.

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I just remembered when I checked my answering machine that I wanted to post about our very positive experience with Gardengrocer.com.

Cindy - I almost forgot to thank you for the review of Gardengrocer.com! We plan on using them when we take the girls down in May, so it's good to hear positive things from someone that I trust. Thanks! :thumbsup2

Karen - I'll be staying over at OKW before and after the cruise so if you have stuff to get home to Michigan that will make it easier - OKW is my fave place to stay and I sure hope to be there in a few weeks

Thanks, Mary! That's good to know! When are you planning on being back down there? We're at OKW in May, as well. :simba:

Oh most definately! :drinking1 Gary & I will make sure of that. We once went to a wedding where it was a cash bar. Personally, I'd prefer to have no liquor over doing a cash bar.

So, no worries, Stacy, there will be plenty to drink. Just think when they are old enough to get married, what the drinks will be. People could think Chocolate Martini's & Apple Martini's as from the "olden days".

Hah!!! And, they'll probably want a WDW wedding too, right???

Why, of course, Amy! I wouldn't expect anything less from our children. After all, they do know the best!

Karen, I'm glad it worked for us and with repeat business, hopefully Brian will stick around. pixiedust:

Don't be afraid to ask for anything that isn't on the online list. The bag of Sun Chips he added onto our order helped the wait we had at the airport on our return trip. We hadn't opened them yet, along with a 12 pack of coke, so we put them in our carryon. Good thing too because the kids made a nice snack of the chips (no warm coke for them though.....I know what would have happened :lmao: ....the entire airport would have heard them belching!   and Mom would have been mortified).

The dates for MNSSHP are up on the main DIS board site. I don't think they would put them up unless they are sure they are right! They have both the 26th and 27th listed for those of you who wanted to go after the cruise.

Awesome! It seems so early, but it's really not. Just around the corner now!

:cheer2: :cheer2: :Pinkbounc 29 weeks!!!! :Pinkbounc :cheer2: :cheer2:

Off to shower before Gary gets home from the grocery store. I'm so glad that's Gary's job!

29 Weeks - I can't wait to go!!!

Okay, I just read so many pages here, my eyes are tired - you have been a busy group!

I'm a Walnut Tree? :confused3
Walnut Tree (Passion) -- unrelenting, strange and full of contrasts,
often egotistic, aggressive, noble, broad horizon, unexpected
reactions, spontaneous, unlimited ambition, no flexibility, difficult
and uncommon partner, not always liked but often admired, ingenious
strategist, very jealous and passionate, no compromise.

Karen - I have ressies for May 17 - 25. A few nights at SSR and then over to OKW for a few. I had to reschedule my plans once, sure hope I can get away for a few days soon. I sure need my DVC!!!

Tonight is DVC chat - hope to see you there!

Hey! you guys seem very knowledgable on member cruises! I got a call from MS on Fri saying that my wait list had come through for the 2006 member cruise and they had a cat 9 open on the ship. I have until Mon to decide on it! I am going to do it! But I have so many questions...Never cruised before at all!
1. I am a single mom going with 2 daughters ages 9 and 7 are they going to have fun? Am I going to be bored?
2. How do we get to Port Canaveral?
3. How many days before the cruise would you suggest we get down there?
4. Should we use points or pay cash?
5. Any other info would be appreciated...As we have never done this beofre at all!
Thanks!

Tina
