bicker said:I'm not sure, but it might have something to do with specific seating -- HDD may limit seating of Dining Plan guests to certain areas, and your sister might be seated in non-Dining Plan seating. However, I thought that restriction was being added for 2007. Perhaps it was put in place earlier.![]()
jjohnson said:Yes the dining plan is based on the number of nights on your reservation. You could do a room-only reservation for the first night & then a package for the rest of your stay but you do need to check-in again & there's a chance you may have to switch rooms.

If she's sticking with paying for HDD out-of-pocket, then there is no reason to even mention it to the reservationist when switching to the Dining Plan for other reservations.patnrunz said:Hi thanks for your answer. I did know that about HDD but thought if she wanted to pay for that out of pocket that it shouldn't matter where she was sitting for HDD?
ANy other thoughts would be great!![]()

On a different note we are going to Disney World for our honeymoon in March of nex year and can't wait. Reading these boards the past couple of days has been most informative. Thanks.

When we go to some of these places do we just inform them that we are on the DDP when we order for snacks or lunch/dinner at the resturants also does anyone keep track of what is used or do we have to?
Spike said:Thanks for the link. Question on some not there:
DDP
ADR
OPOPP
Thanks again.

Thanks for your input. My sister did get thourgh to someone in central reservations who said that it was fine to do it the way that she wanted to. Thanks again for your help!bicker said:If she's sticking with paying for HDD out-of-pocket, then there is no reason to even mention it to the reservationist when switching to the Dining Plan for other reservations.
