Well, since you asked.....there's a Burlington Wyoming, too!!! :cool1: (population 12 or something...)

Leslie...you OWE me a Terrible Towel for all my hard work!!!!!!!!

STEELERS 21

SEAHAWKS 10

I can just imagine you jumping around your house!!!!!!!!

Hines Ward... MVP He's the one with the Mickey tattoo!!

Now he's going to
DISNEY WORLD!!

I had to logon and see how much DPD was crowing. :)

Congratulations. :cheer2:

I have to admit, this was the first Super Bowl in a long time where (to me) it didn't really matter who won. I like the Steelers because they seem to be a blue collar type team. Been interrested in them since Rod Wodson played there in the 80's. Scott Campbell (another local kid) played there too. Jeff Zgonina was there in the 90's. Then Lenny Dawson was there in the 50's(before my time...how did they let him get away). Finally, Gene Keady was drafted by them back in the caveman days. :)

I'll bet they're selling "one for the thumb" shirts on QVC right now.

Oh Steve,

I just looked at your count down- 38&5. :sad2: I remember at about this point being pregnant was no longer fun, new, or interesting. I REALLY remember being frightened because I realized that the baby had to come out... :scared1: I'm not kidding, I was really scared. Probably the most scared I have ever been as an adult.

My your anesthesiologist be skilled and her labor be swift. :lovestruc Don't worry about your OB- you'll be surprised how little you'll see of them. They just show up to catch or cut (depending on if it is c-section or not). Also- do be her advocate, get the nurses or doctors to do what is best for her, you and the baby- not what is best for them. If she needs something- try to do it unless it will really interfere with what is going on.

I still swear the anesthesiologist is the most important person there- if your pain is controlled, your labor is much easier.

Thanks for thinking of us Celeste. I read Amy your post. She says she's with you on the anesthesiologist. She'd get the epidural right now if they'd let her!

It was nice getting to see the birthing center and look at one of the rooms. It is a little comforting knowing what the rooms will look like. We've met with all four doctors who do the deliveries. We also have our stuff all packed and sitting by the door. Now we are just waiting on Emma to tell us when it's time!

Congratulations on your Steelers' win Leslie! I'll bet your neighbors won't be getting much sleep tonight with all the celebrating! My favorite commercial was the Budweiser commercial with the football-playing horses and the streaker.

I'll definitely get the magnet scanned and to you. I had to temporarily give up my coaster shrine room since it's the new nursery. I'm gradually setting it up in our gym/office/new coaster shrine. All my stuff is in boxes right now but hopefully I'll get to unpacking it soon. I'll have three weeks off soon and if I can manage any sleep, I plan on finishing the room.

HEY BOB! BOTH QVC + HSN had merchandise as soon as the game was over!!! T-shirts, caps (sold out!), autographed pictures, personalized leather jackets, AND... STEELER beanie babies ! :lmao:

CONGRATS LESLIE! :thumbsup2 When I saw all those towels swinging on TV, I thought of you and your signature, and you jumping up and down in your living room :bounce: !

Joe liked the Lenord Nimoy commercial for Aleeve. He's a true Star Trek fan! :rotfl2: I loved the I'm Going To Disney World commercials. That's how I was last year every day when we decided to take the Canal cruise!

ONE FOR THE THUMB!!!!

Hey DPD, Hines Ward was on ESPN (Jim Rome Show) and he was at the Magic Kingdom. He was wearing a gold football jersey with the mickey silhouette on the front. He also was wearing gold mickey ears. (I'll bet that cost Disney $$$$$$).
I'll bet the jerseys are for sale at WDW right now. $$$$$$.

I hope you guys recovered from your holiday flooding of your crik! We have a creek in the back of our house, and I say "Let's go down the crik." all the time! :rotfl:

It's so funny, cause Joe looks at me funny when I say it. I've said crik for as long as I can remember! ;)

Poor Joe. :sad2: What he must endure.

I have always said "crick". And a lot of other things that Lee makes fun of.

Story time....when I was a kid, I went out east to visit relatives. They wanted to know if I wanted anything to drink. "sure. how 'bout a pop" Pop? They always referred to it as "soda". Now soda to me always meant like Bicabonate of Soda. :confused3

Another story....more recent. Taking a tour of Boston this past fall. They guide was instructing us on how to speak Bostonian (you know, like Peter)
Anyway, he used a term that to me meant urinal, but there it meant something really good. And if it was exceptionally good, it was a Wicked P-----r. Still makes me laugh :lmao:

Lynda,

That's a very.....tactful way to say what I would say straight out....eye candy!!! (yes, Eric knows and approves...)

Hey Steve,

What Celeste said is absolutely true!!! The guy with the meds is king... after AMY being queen, of course... he can make her comfy and a happy, comfy mommy is a happy, comfy baby, so then you get to be a happy tired comfy daddy!!! Give both mom and baby hugs for us before and after the birth!!!

Renae

I need a little help...we are spending Quincy's princess: 5th birthday at Disneyland :thumbsup2...any suggestions on special things to do for her big day? We have friends and their kids (Q's bestfriends) meeting us for dinner at Ariel's Grotto and are spending two days at the park. Other than that I haven't found anything online for b-days. Does anyone have more info?

Thanks!
Laurie
