I would also like the password and location for the chat please.

I find myself checking the Disney cruiseline web site several times a day. I'm not sure why I'm doing that - just obsessing I guess. I noticed that earlier today there were no category 11s available, then mid-day the web site showed availability and now it shows no availability for category 11 again. I would love to have some idea as to how many people will be sailing. :earsboy:

Ok - now its showing availability for cat 11 again. :teeth: I know that people have a sense of the approximate number of children on the cruise. Anyone have any idea of the total number of people at this point?

Anyone know the difference in price between a category 4 and 5?

$$$$$$$

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Seriously though,

Category 4 is 304 sq. feet
Category 5 is 268 sq. feet

I don't know of much difference besides that.

A group of us got together and are providing name badges with custom lanyards for everyone on the "Master List". The name badges have each persons first name and their Disboard screen ID or the ID of the Disboard member. The badges come in a clear plastic holder that will also hold your room key. So far, I've made about 260 of them. I only have 300 lanyards and holders, so once I hit 300, that's it.

Unfortunately NO!
I have spoken to Disney extensively about this as I am in grad school and have papers due while on vacation- I am online this quarter.

You would have to fax at $7 per page or send this from internet cafe while in port.

The only other option is to sign onto a "go to my pc" type service.
He can read and reply to email while on the ship but cannot ammend attachements or send them- unless other people know other options that Disney has not told me about.

Hi Celest,

Welcome aboard....I have the same problem and needed accessiblity for my computer to send and recieve files for work. My company hooked me up with a treo pda that will act as a modem with my mac (wirelessly) whenever I have a cingular service (which looks mostly like port days). If you have to send or receive something I will try to help if we have service...but I am on a mac, so I dont know if that will work or not... I will have a USB memory stick to trade files if anyone needs anything.

That was the best I could come up with, and I was searching exhaustively. Anyway, we will be in 8546 - so if you have to send something then feel free to call and I will let you know if it is working...

Best,
Michelle aka NEM

Welcome auntrenae!!! Jump in and join the fun!

Well... got my blinky flippy floppy thingies! Hoooray! Our Wal-Mart had tons of them but only 2 in my size so I'm glad I got there finally!! Now I must make room for them somewhere in the luggage!

That's it NO MORE SHOPPING!! I can't leave the house without risking buying something else! At this rate I will run out of room for the wine and that is NOT AN OPTION!!! :drinking1

Just when I start calming down...there you go and get me all wound up and excited again!!!!

What is it they say??? Anticipation is half the fun?

Then I am having a ball!!!

(I almost had to cancel- they were less than helpful in this aspect. You'd think the amount of money for the cruise would encourage them to show a little Disney Magic! I was able to take a class from a teacher who knew my situation- lucky most nurses like to travel and understand.)

We travel alot and many times I just stop into a business type hotel Hilton, Hyatt etc and go to their business center, they are more than willing to help you out. Can be pricey, but at least you can get the stuff sent via email etc.

:rotfl: :rotfl: Leslie, I feel your pain! I just bought a pair of capris, a pair of sandals, a lightweight sweater, and ANOTHER pair of shorts for the trip this morning (online, of course!). Yikes! It's a good thing we bought that other suitcase! We're gonna need it at this rate.

I can't believe we'll be boarding the ship a month from now! That is just too much fun!

OK - went to the closest Wal Mart to get the flippy floppy blinky thingies and they did not have my size - only the children's sizes.

That's ok - I bought several pairs of sandles - 4 different colors - when I was in S.C. and they will just have to do.

Anyways, if I had gone to the other Wal Mart, they would not be there - Leslie said she got the last two pair......... GO LESLIE............ I'll borrow a pair of yours... :rotfl:

Feel much better today. Have feeling back in my face and head. When your brain is frozen, it doesn't feel too good.

HI everyone...

1) Both mom & I are very early risers, if it is after 5:00am and one or both of us are not at the coffee station Deck 9, we may have fallen overboard.

2) For anyone who needs the blinkie light up sandles from Wal-mart, we have two extra pair, size 9, let us know.

3) All you local California people, I need to arrange transportation to get Mom & I from the port to the hotel across from Downtown Disneyland and then 2 days later to LAX. Any favorite private car services ?? I really do not want to cram her into a shuttle van that takes way toooo long for me... Any help would be appreciated.
I have quotes from one company for $ 135.00 w/tax & tip for Saturday and then the same price for the airport run 2 days later.

Thanks, Kim
