Maybe I'll just wrap the table skirt around DH 3 or 4 times.......and then staple it together.... He's not going anywhere without a pair of shorts on underneath anyway....

Can't wait to see the Hula stuff at the Disney Store... IF ours get's it.. they don't get much adult clothing.. mostly kids toys.

We don't even have a Disney Store...they took it out of the mall two years ago. The closest one is over an hour away and with the price of gas....I don't think so

Does anyone know if the Hula stuff will be in the Disney Direct catalog or web site?

Someone a few pages back was asking where to get shorts, Old Navy and Victoria's Secret both have long cargo/ bermuda type shorts right now. The ones at Old Navy come in many different styles/ colors, while VS only has one style of longer shorts. Both also offer short shorts as well...

I am heading to the Old Navy Outlet (it's at the beach) next weekend for my b-day!!! I hope they have the shorts there...sometimes they don't carry the same stuff at the outlets .

Mom and I are pleased to announce that we are no longer members of the Deck 4 Chaise Lounge Society. We were assigned a cabin today by DCL. We will be deck 2 cabin # 2060.

What is really interesting is that this is the same cabin that we were assigned for the Cruisetoberfest IV cruise in Oct 06.

Very very interesting experience with DVC today that I figure I'd share with my fellow DVC bookers out there.

Called them to change the address for our docs to be sent to the office. After all, no point in playing tag with UPS at the house. Anyway, she took the info and asked that I hold while she called over to the cruise line. Oh... was there any other questions I had before she did that? I bit and asked if she knew the stateroom number.. .she said she'd ask when she called. I figured it was a slim chance since I had checked with them yesterday.

When she came back on the line, she told me we had a stateroom assigned. So... here's my guess.... for those of you calling DVC to check.. if they aren't putting you on hold and calling the Cruise Line... well.. then there's a good chance they don't have the up to date info.

Now to break the news to my DW that we got upgraded from a Cat 10 to a 9 Deck 1. At least we have a window to look out of now... Hmmm... perhaps I won't tell her and I'll see how long it is until she figures it out.

For those who booked DVC, have you gotten your stateroom assignment yet? We called and found out today we have a stateroom with a solid white wall. YUCK. That is the last type of verandah room we wanted.

Only if you are willing, I would like those who booked via DVC to send me a PM with your stateroom humber. I'm trying to see if there is a pattern of stateroom assignments.

Yes, isn't it amazing how "pin friends" come out of the woodwork when they know you're going on a cruise.... The thing is...even if I can get a second one (assuming I'll get at least ONE) what on earth do you trade something like that for..... I have a couple holy grails that I've been after... but I'm not sure they're worth "The Hubcap"

I know this will come as a complete surprise to everyone, but one of my interests is improv comedy. Since DCL took the improv out of Off-Beat, it's up to us to bring improv back to the Magic. So, I'll be "hosting" some improv games on one of the at sea days TBD. Anyone interested? No experience necessary. It's just for fun. Audience members needed.

Food = There are plans to introduce new lunch and dinner menus so that no menu will be repeated during the course of the sailing.

Entertainment = A new production show to be offered. Called " Twice Charmed ". Cinderella themed Stage Show.

1 for going on the cruise and one for going thru the canal.
This has been said on other cruises by DDW .

Canal Party = All seas travel, is hosting a party in the Roy Suite the day of the Canal crossing . for its customers. You can do better than that..

Hi,

First post to a message board ever. Don't know what I'm doing. Looking for info on kids traveling on this sailing. I have 3 daughters: 15, 12, and 7. On previous cruises, they had a hard time meeting other kids and making friends on board. I have heard that there are only 500 kids sailing on this voyage. My guess is that many of those will still be in diapers. Any suggestions for places where my girls might find and email with others, so that when they embark they may already have "met" someone. Also, suggestions on other strategies for helping them to make friends during the cruise.

Welcome aboard...it is a fun group of people. My sister has a 7 yr old girl, Ashton - actually turning 7 on the day we depart - so we will be partying in the terminal!! Actually we were joking the other day that we have about 1 girl for every age group (9, 7, 3, 1)- not including teens, so if you are looking for girls to hang with - count us in!!

She is always looking for friends!!

Ok, next strange question. Is anyone else on here a Ham? Both my wife and I are, and are bringing handheld tri-band radios, but were curious if anyone else was planning on bringing theirs as well.

I was threatening to hang a HF antenna off my balcony to see if we could reach the states from the ship - would definately be cheaper than the ship to shore rates. Don't know how they would react to that, though.
