You know I didn't think about the old wine boxes...I might have a few from the west coast or maybe something from liquor in St Thomas...that would make it easy to get the wine to the ship. I need to liquidate my stock to get fresh vino... :)
Good news! Surgeon General says wine is good for you...or something like that...so liquidate away!!! :drinking1

Tink33 welcome

We love surpises ...

Sounds like a great plan ...

My extra pirate names:

Wilhelm the Dense
Deckswabber Wicked Leg
Linda the Blue
Cap'n Jezebel Blackbeard (talk about evil)

I think I'll stick with Iron Charity Bonney, although I kind of like Deckswabber Wicked Leg.

Kara,

Please add us to the Tag list.

We finally decided to book the airfare home. It is hard to plan the return after 14 days on the beautiful Disney Magic followed by 4 days at Disneyland. Do you think anyone would notice if we never returned home? Our dogs would eventually notice.

We decided to fly out of LAX after much consideration of every other airport withing 50 miles, but non-stop back to Orlando was a big plus versus connecting. Has anyone used shuttle services in Los Angeles? I see SuperShuttle a lot, but not sure if someone has had any good and/or bad experiences.

My experience with SuperShuttle from Orange County (John Wayne Airport) to Disneyland and back has been wonderful. Never had a problem. I planned a convention there in 2002 and was there at least 6 times before the convention and they were always prompt and reliable.

Linda

Super Shuttle was fine, but it does stop at residences in addition to hotels. That happened to me in both directions on my April trip to DL.

So far as I know, these are the plans--
We fly into Orlando May 13 afternoon. Check in to the Embassey Suites and check out the manager's reception. :earboy2:
Next morning, take the earliest possible DCL shuttle to the port. Since we are taking the stress free shuttle, no parking or baggage worries.
Check-in and get ready for our 14 day Disney Adventure! :earsboy: :earsgirl:

Right now I believe we are signed-up for--
  • Sail Away Party
  • Wine Tasting Party
  • Pirate Night Patry
  • Twister Party
........and whatever else comes our way.

I forgot that we need to be added to the Tag Game. :)

Unfortunately, we won't be able to make Lynn and Scott's wine and cheese party.
Also, due to bad knees and slow feet, I will not be able to participate in the Great Hammock Race.

I would love to bring along some sets, pads and paper stuff and everyone can feel free to stamp whatever they like. I just didn't want to step on anyone's toes bringing stamping stuff if that was not the plan. I have oodles of extra supplies so you won't need to worry about bringing any paper for stamping projects, but thanks so much for the offer. I imagine you will have your own fair share of supplies for scrapbooking. If anyone has a special interest or theme, please PM me as I have a cajillion stamp sets (special note to DH in case he might be reading this ... honey I don't really have THAT many stamp sets!!)

Karen (aka Bloodstained Betty)

Karen,

My Mother would enjoy that. SHe has just started getting into stamping and making cards.

Bye, Kim

welcome Tink33,

Bob, I am sure the participants in the great hammock race will give you a head start in compensation for the bad knees etc.

Home last night at 10:00 and it's 0600 so gotta get at the grind, looking forward to tomorrow. If all goes well today we will be celebratory this evening.

Jeff, I have not read nor have I checked to see if there are any just leading off of Bill and Linda's comments about the new ship, I bow to your intuition and learned in site.

I already have you on the list, so either you already told me that or I was a good guesser... :confused3

I really am starting to get pretty excited about this trip... :Pinkbounc

Wow, I was just away for ONE DAY!!!

NEM... glad you liked the glow necklace ideas (smile). There are so many great ideas flowing on this thread! :goodvibes

I would like to bring a $20.00 grab book for the scrapbook party too, but being a novice, I wouldn't want to stuff a bag full of things that others already have! HELP!!! :confused3 I will do the best I can.

Scott... are you getting ready for a cruise :boat: just about now??? HAVE FUN!

That pirate picture was adorable... your little girl has stollen many hearts with her smile! pirate:

I had a simple procedure done yesterday (a sort of follow-up to the breat cancer I had 5 years ago) and am recovering today at home. So far, the initial results look good! Thank God! :lovestruc

Hope everyone is getting over the flu and colds that have been circulating.

HAPPY WEEKEND :Pinkbounc (It's flurrying in NJ this morning.. very pretty)

Georgie

Georgie:

Glad the prognosis is good. I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers. As for the grab bag, I'm just going to put things in it that I want in my canal scrap book and am going to assume that if I like it, who ever gets my bag will like it too. Just have fun with it - no stress. That's what this vacation is all about. Enjoy your flurries. We're having Santa Ana winds in southern California :sunny: - it's 60 already - got into the 70's yesterday. :cool1:
