Very nice design for the pin!!!!

Where did he get the font for the "Magic". I've been looking for it to use on our name badges?

WOW!...very nice...I really like the braid effect...Is a pin the same as a button?
Not really.

A button is round and usually an aluminum type of metal with a "brooch" style clasp on the back.

A pin is also metal, but a heavier metal and a straight point on the back with a kind of rubber stopper do-dad.

This is a button:
pin9297

This is a pin:

Great pin! But your husband always does great fantasy pins!!

You guys are bringing the Magic home... Not quite sure what to call what we are doing :earsgirl:

Hey... GREAT Repro-pin. Thanks for sharing it! :cool1: I looked for the font when doing t-shirts for a past cruise, but no luck. Yes, please let us know where you got it. You're bringing the MAGIC home... we're bringing the MAGIC to Disneyland!

BTW... If anyone knows of a good iron on transfer product, please share it. Years ago, I found a great one, (used for totes, t-shirts, etc.) but recently, all the transfer shirts I've made have cracked with the product I've been using. It was a shame to put all the energy into the shirts to only wear them once!

Bonzie1,
What iron-on transfer have you been using? I don't want to buy the same one and have it cracking! I'm going to use iron on tranfers to make a pillowcase with all my daughter's favorite characters on it and have it signed.

Laurie, The only product I've been able to find around me is from Burlington. Burlington T-Shirt Transfers for InkJet Printers Product #00480. They end up being shiny when they're peeled off. I've preferred the matte finish. I've done probably 100 t-shirts by now with family trips, etc, with many successes, but these transfers have not yielded a good result (for me). When I wahs them (inside out) and let them dry on their own, I'm still not pleased. Good luck with your pillowcases.

We did this on our last Disney cruise with fabulous results... the autographs were GREAT!

Actually, we're looking for the font for "Magic" part of the pin. Waltograph appears to be the font for "Brining it Home", close but not quite it either but thanks for the font - always like to add new fonts.

Dang! Now I am on a mission to help! I guess I mis understood!

How excited are we?!?!?!

I called DVC to inquire if there was any chance of upgrading our stateroom from a Cat9 GTY to a Cat6. A few minutes later the MS returned to inform me it was our "Magic Day"! There was a Cat6 available & we got it!!!! I paid the points with a smile on my face. I had been calling every day with my fingers crossed.

GREAT NEWS!!...

.Now, I'm looking for whomever it was who needed a tub instead of roll-in shower and is currently assigned to a handicapped-accessible stateroom with a verandah. I think I may have located someone whe can make that happen....Please PM me....

welcome Tink33,

Bob, I am sure the participants in the great hammock race will give you a head start in compensation for the bad knees etc.

.......
I'd need all the help I could get. :rotfl:

While in my little part of Margaritaville earlier this evening, I imagined being on Deck 9 in one of the hot tubs. While enjoying a cool libation, I watch as the smoke slowly drifts from the smokestack toward the stern. I ponder many questions about the cruise..........
Back to reality. But there still are questions.
  • Will there be one or two Midnight Dessert Buffets?
  • How many formal nights would I need a tux, if I decided to wear one?
  • Do I get TWO character breakfasts?
  • What special shows and gifts does Disney have planned for use?
  • Will the Magic have enough Krispy Kremes for the whole cruise?
  • Has anyone really started packing?

Also, is anyone still planning on linking dinner rotations for the late sitting?

Hi all!

To add to the questions above (which are great bobandlee) I'm wondering if I really should convince my DH that dressing as a pirate is THE thing to do pirate: I'm so afraid that all the pirates will be on late dining and we'll be the only goofs in early! My son is all gung ho, no problem, but as for the rest of the family? :confused3

Guess I should go back about 37 pages and read about the pirate night again! :cool1:

Bob, I love the priorities - ie: Krispy Kremes, Midnight Dessert Buffets, and Two character breakfasts! LOL Good questions though..

I have one more trip down to Florida in April before the cruise. When I get back from this one, then I will start packing. I will have exactly a month to get it together.

I would love to link dining with any of you. I currently have early dining, and am seriously still considering changing it to late. If we could get a large group together or at least on the same rotation with tables nearby, I would change to late in a heartbeat! I would love to see other's replies to linking?

Aug repo cruiser buttin' in here ... we've designed a fantasy pin for our repo cruise (my DH) designed it ... if no one has done the same for your cruise, I'm offering up DH's serivces (he might shoot me ;) )

Thanks Susan (and DH) Where are you having them made if I may ask? Our cruise is only 99 days away, is there enough time to have this done? Your DH is very talented, thank you so much again for sharing.

Heck Bob, I'll do some blocking for ya......

My long week has drawn to a close and normalcy should return. Lot's of SCUBA classes this weekend and the in one week we head to the little latitudes. I need a boat drink and lots of sleep.

I noticed that the cruise looks sold out again.

Gotta get ready for our trip next week. Which is really needed after this past week. 1 1/2 years work coming to a close, well it really is not over just a close to a chapter.

I will be checking with AVIS to see if I can rent a burro to get from their office at Port Canaveral to haul our luggage to the ship on 5/14. Might be faster than their shuttle. A llama would be more eco friendly. As you can see the week has fried my mind.
