I just realized that I forgot to change my countdown clock to reflect the 3 days at WDW prior to the cruise. I just cut 3 days off my wait. I wish actual time would go that fast. From triple digits to double digits with just a few key strokes.

Hello everybody! :grouphug:

I'm also voting for an earlier meet. After the lifeboat drill crunches time even more for us Main dining folk (tho' there aren't too many of us are there?)

Ok, back to taxes ... :badpc:

Help... I am so confuse..................

Could someone please explain to me how will we disperse the gifts we buy.. Do we give them to one person to put in a bag for each family.. or do we just give them out at the sailaway.. I know I read it will probably one bag per family..Help.......................

This is how I've seen it work in the past. At the Dis Meet (and/or Sailaway Party), those that had gift type items made them available. Either by handing them out or setting them down and letting people take one. Some items that are personalized have to be given out individually while other non-personalized items can just go in a central place. For example, on one cruise a family had rolls of lifesavers with custom made wrappers with the cruise date - they left those out on a table and anyone who wanted one could take it.

I figured that I would have the name badges/lanyards available in the terminal while waiting in line and then also later at the Dis meet.

Hope this helps - Anyone else have more to add?

...and what is the room (Sessions) capacity?......70?........Last ones to arrive are "it"...
:crowded:

Don't worry about that. The room that's provided will be based on the size of the party. :)

Wow! And the kids were worried that Santa wouldn't find the ship. Sure sounds like he did!

Been a long time since I was a little kid but I was sooo tickled to find the goodies....Still don't know who left 'em but they REALLY added to the clouds of pixie dust that hovered over the ship....one reason I tried to spread it around, too...I don't know who the children were but they looked as tickled as I felt...AND I hope it makes up for the times I felt like nipping the heads off the little urchins playing on the stairs outside my door...GRRR....
:confused3

My Brain is mush, long day started at 0500 and ended just a few min ago, needed a sanity break so I checked in here. This will be the pattern for teh week.

Bob, take a heading of 149 True and go 1123 miles and there ya be.

On the subject of sailaway gifts, I was thinking of glow in the dark necklaces from Oriental Trading, but the sailaway isn't going to be in the dark.

I was also looking at the pirate hat craft kit and wondering if anyone would want to do a craft get together? Could be fun, could be messy......

Any ideas for or against these 2 ideas?

There will be many dark nights on this cruise including the blowout dressup night...Pirate night...

Could schedule a craft meeting together with a scrapbooking meet sometime...

I found some cool scrapbooking materials anyone into building a Panama cruise scrapbook as it's happening?

What might be fun is to have a scrapbook grabbag swap for all those that attend a scrapbook Class. We could set a dollar limit on the value of the bag and then have a fun swap ...

Bye, Kim

It would be well worth my bringing some stuff on the cruise to learn how to get started. I have TONS !! of stuff in many boxes but have no idea what to do first.

Hey Kelli:

A craft could be fun. I'd make one with you.

The light up necklaces are great. Our family dressed up in black and white for Animator's Palate (to go with the B+W decor), The waiter's loved it. Then, when everything turned to color, and the waiter's vests were in color, we added our glow in the dark items (all in different colors) and added to the fun! :Pinkbounc My 7 year old nephew loved it!

Scott, we must be on the same page. Yesterday is just a blur. I am working on getting ready for audit, so my life is crazy for the next month with auditors coming in for 2-3 weeks. I'll be here too for those "quick" sanity breaks when I can!

We will be having a scrapbook class (hosted by me) on board. A 100 pages or so ago, I had people PM me if they were interested. I am putting some stuff together so you can actually do a "page" during the class. Since I do Creative Memories I am just ordering a few like Disney things to help people get started. So far I have the following who said they were interested in the class:

bettemom (Kim)
Mickey&joshnut (Elaine)
ScottH (Lynn)
Az Pirates
SandraLee
nasmith (Jill)
Q'smyprincess (Laurie)
KPROS (signed up Shari!)
PinDiva (Leslie)
Moocow35 (Robin)

I am planning on 45 minutes to 1 hour on a sea day and I am going to go back and look at my navigators from Christmas to try and figure the best time so we don't miss too much. I definitely don't want to miss Ducky Williams series and I figure the day before the PC they will probably have a presentation of some kind about the PC. They did that on Royal Caribbean and had some "expert" on the ship. It was extremely fascinating and worth attending.

so just post here or PM me if you are interested and I'll add you to the list. I just want to get an idea of how many packets to put together. At Christmas I actually had people walking by as we did our scrapbook hour and ask if I was having another class that they could come to. Maybe Disney should be paying me to come do scrapbooking with Disney on board! They could make a ton of money selling more scrapbook stuff!
