Hi everyone! Just a quick check in. Its been a very long day.
As you may have seen I did visit the whine( wine) thread too.

Dh finally got home after his connecting flight in Atlanta was cancelled! He was gone for almost 2 weeks and really needed to get home today. We have to get his stuff to the cleaners tomorrow so we can pack him for the cruise.

Jason has a 7am soccer game tomorrow so I am calling it a night.

Almost forgot our trip details.

12/17- Kids go to school 1/2 day and we fly out of Dulles to Orlando arriving at 4:48 ( those of you meeting at 4:15 if you are delayed , look for us)
Staying Friday night at the Embassy Suites , hoping to meet Kpros.
12/18- Breakfast with Diana's family and Ken's. Limo pick up at 10:00 with a stop for water/wine and off to port.
Party, Party, Party........
12/28- sadly leave ship and head to Contemporary for 3 nights. Not sure what we will have energy to do, but hopefully we'll be able to say another good bye to some Disers
12/31- 1:30 pick up to airport for return flight home

no pirate outfits made.... we might just have to wing it with the bandannas at dinner.

My original intent was pirate outfits for the whole family. Then it was pirate outfits for the kids. KT has hers, but Nick doesn't have one. Maybe we'll dress tropical.

I like the Survivor Buff idea. Although, I'm more like Twila--a one piece bathing suit and NEVER even THINK Of wearing the buff as a tube top!!!

After reading Diana's post (in which she quoted me) I realized I snuck one of Nick's lines in my post. Seems like a lot of my speech SOMEHOW turns into one of Nick's lines --maybe b/c they are ingrained into my head.

Anyway, Christopher Robin is saying he likes to do nothing and Pooh says "how do you do nothing?" And CR says "oh, it's when people call out to you just as you're going off to do it....'christopher robin, what are you going to do'....and you say 'oh, nothing,' and then you go and do it!!"

And, at then end of my most I put "and then we go and do it."

BTW, sad news. Mike's dad and step mom showed up tonight. That means I can't have the $200 in Easton gift certificates. I wasn't there--I was at ballet with KT--but Mike said they were a bit cold and even tried to create a scene. Mike was ushering and he sat them in their seats and Valerie said something snidely like "you didn't think we were coming, did you?" And Mike said something like "I wasn't sure if you'd show up or not. I knew you weren't making an effort to see Nick and it wouldn't have surprised me if you didn't come." Luckily they were the first ones there, so no one else heard this. Could you imagine?? "Did you see how rude that usher was to that family?????"

How are we going to get to 25,000 if everyone keeps going to WDW? At least we still have Stacey.

I'm not sure who all has that capability, I know I don't. I can be the one to hunt him down and give it to him if you don't want to do that part. I just can't print a picture.

I'm here till Wednesday night (leaving 5:00 am Thursday, I don't think I'll post that morning)

Wednesday will be a ZOOOOO tho! I'll run the dog to the kennel on the way to Nick's performance. Then after that we're throwing the pizza party for the cast/crew. Then home to CLEAN b/c I HATE coming home to a dirty house. Then my parents will be here and we'll hit the sack. Probably very little time to post.

Ah, I quoted you too fast the first time. This clarifies your original meaning.

As an upstanding pediatrician in the community, Mike has to be polite even if he'd rather rip ppl's heads off. It'd be bad if it got out "ugh, that dr. patrick is a JERK!!!!!"

Hee hee. Too funny. I agree, sometimes they sound good, but when you go back and actually read them the don't make sense. I do that all the time.
