Not only do we put garlic on eggs, I eat pizza with pineapple and hot sauce on my potato chips!

I thought the new way of referring to flip flops was "flops." At least that's what I've heard lately.

Ya! that's what I thought. Now DW, will be calling you weird as well.

You have watch out and not step on those pop tops, that way you won't get a "flop"! Just ask Jimmy Buffet...

The other, a chipmunk with it's guts hanging out.

Seems my cat left me a present on the step and the FedEx man was the first to find it

The next thing you know you're going to get a call from the PETA folks. That cat, mistreating the poor chipmunks!

Hi everyone.

Karen I never heard of a Kong! What is a Kong??
Harmony would love it. Where do I get it? Is it special order or can I pick it up at any pet store?
We got Hermit crabs last Friday and one already died. I was told they are very nervous animals and they get stresed easily. Just what I need!!! We have to go get another one so the other one is not lonely. I was told they are very social animals. The children wanted them. One has a painted spider man shell. The one that died was a dinosaur shell. DD wants to pick the next one out. I have to stop giving in to these requests as I am the one taking care of them.

Argh! Another Parrot Head? How many Buffet fans do we have on this cruise? DH is DEFINITELY a long time Parrot Head and is looking forward to his next trip to Margarita Ville in Key West.

And has anyone else ever used garlic when cooking EGGS?

Me. Every morning. He is on the cutting edge. A good chef is willing to experment, to try new things, to mix and match, to go where no chef has gone before. Garlic with eggs gives the flavor that is needed in the morning. This morning our steak, mushrooms, and onions omlette were great with the garlic.

He might be sandbagging you. Just keep training him and you might have a great chef.

Me. Every Friday I listen to Margaritavilleradio.com. That is my way to start the weekend off. And the kids wonder why I must have a margarita when I come home on Friday nights, after listening to the radio station (on the internet) all day long it's just the natural thing to do

BTW, Margaritaville shrimp is excellant. You can get it at Sams and Costco. I use it to make a Jumping Jack Shrimp Burchita.

Everytime the cat gets one we ask the kids "do you think that one is Chip or Dale?" ;)

I have a hard time finding clothes for DD (10) who is a size 6 slim. The one store that does have clothes that fit her is the Limited 2 - but, very expensive. Pants are particularly difficult because she has a slim waist and "dancer/gymnast" thighs. But since her "life" is currently gymnastics, I guess she had better get used to it.

DS (14) continues to grow so fast that it is hard to find small enough waisted pants to fit his long legs. I am sure he will do everything in his power to correct that problem on the cruise by eating multiples of every course and becoming the "Pizza Mans" best friend.

It's not special order. If you have a Petsmart of something like that near you, you can get them there. Or ebay. Or online pet stores. Here's the company's official website:
http://www.kongcompany.com/
Make sure you click on "how to use a kong" for ideas on what to stuff in there. We basically stuff anything in there that we'd give her for treats. She has quickly learned that if she can't get it out with her tongue she should pick it up and drop (or throw) it. Then things come flying out! :) Stuffing it, then freezing it (especially if you put in something wet like peanut butter, banana, or oatmeal) makes it last longer.

They were originally invented as the suspension parts for the VW bus!! Some mechanic threw one to his dog and he loved it. Ta-da. Probably a millionaire now. ;)

Maggie would LOVE to go Kong shopping for Harmony!! But she doesn't have any money. If she did she wouldn't have any pockets to put it in anyway! ;)

Here's what our family had for breakfast today....
dh had a slimfast bar and coffee
I had a bowl of frosted shredded wheat and a latte
dd had a pop tart and milk
ds had a pop tart, milk and a handful of pistachios.

You'll notice no one had steak or mushroom or even an egg!

The dog ate better than the rest of us. Here's what's in her food:

Deboned Chicken, Salmon Meal, Menhaden Fish Meal, Oatmeal, Barley Flour, Ground Brown Rice, Canola Oil, Tomatoes, Flaxseed, Peas, Carrots, Whole Sweet Potatoes, Bananas, Whole Apples, Whole Pears, Garlic, Beta-Carotene

Well, she's a petite little thing like my KT. KT is 10 yrs old, about 50 inches tall and 46 pounds! Ah, to have her figure! Well, actually I DID have her figure......until I had HER!

I had the GaRy special: COFFEE!!
Now, it's good coffee. I've actually gotten into roasting our own and, of course, grinding it fresh each morning. If you're going to go..... go BIG!

You guys are weird. Garlic and eggs were never meant to be.

I booked another cruise today. I had to, it was too depressing thinking about this one being over. Now I will have another 1 1/2 years of looking forward to a cruise!

It's the 5/27/06 Western itinerary with two stops at Castaway Cay. It seemed so cheap compared to our cruise. Anyone else want to go?

well, sometimes their heads are gone, so it's hard to tell. sometimes all that is left is kidneys and brains. not sure why sometimes he eats those and sometimes he doesn't!
